“As usual a superb service... well actually not quite! The website wasn't working on Black Friday, at least not on the item I tried to buy. I simple couldn't get the purchase button to work. But the team on the phone were excellent. It turned out the listing was a bit confused. They sorted it out and everything arrived, well packed, safe and sound bang on time. A good way to judge a business is how they sort things out when they don't work smoothly, and as ever did an excellent job”

“Excellent service - as usual from Calumet. I needed a new lens, called them up to see if there was one in Drummond St - answer quickly was "no - but there is one in Wardour St". They offered to hold it, I said don't bother as I'll pop over. But they marked it for me anyway and an hour later I had it. And the service in the store was friendly, polite, and helpful. What more can you ask?”

“Being short of time as usual, I rushed in and muttered about what I needed. I was immediately served by a guy who not only understood me but also immediately found what I was trying to describe. And, as well as being very efficient, he was very friendly and humorous as well. I couldn't ask for more.”

“I tend to use a few camera shops but Calumet is by far the best in customer service. They listen to what you want & advise, unlike another retail store where as soon as you walk in they start cross selling all kinds of nonsense & talk to you as if you know nothing about cameras. I can't recommend Calumet highly enough. I even received an unexpected discount. Great Staff...”

“Overall was a good experience. A bit of a stumbling block when it looked like it would take a while to get delivery of an online order to Northern Ireland but once I contacted the Northern Ireland branch in Belfast directly I was helped by a really great guy called Angus. He confirmed it was in stock there and processed the payment with free delivery. Item arrived to me in Newry the next day which was great considering it was a backdrop support and quite large. Please pass on my thanks to Angus in the Belfast branch. Glenda”

“When ordering this item I checked the delivery dates which specified that delivery would be within 48 hours. I was not notified at any point that the item was not in stock. The delivery was late, despite the order being placed on 11 Nov the item was not dispatched until 26 Nov and I had to source an alternative supplier to get the item in time for an event.”

“I am giving Calumet Photographic just 4 'Good' because initially there was a mix-up regarding my order. It was resolved after a couple of phone calls with a very advantageous outcome for myself regarding the Manfrotto tripod I had ordered - thanks to the staff at Calumet. I shall definitely continue online with Calumet and recommend it to others.”

“The assistant, John, was very helpful with my purchase of a new Canon 5D Mkiii, 2 memory cards, carry bag and persuaded me to spend more than I had intended to on a decent macro - Canon 100mm f2.8 L Macro IS USM (lol). All in all very good service!”

“Tom at Calumet in Birmingham, Hagley Road, he has been an outstanding salesman giving me excellent advice. His expertise in photography is very sound, and he's given me very, very good advice. I bought off him a Nikon D4s and lenses, which come to about £18,000. I feel I have a special relationship with Tom and Calumet. And I'm looking forward to a great future as a result of Toms advice.”
