I've been using Capitec almost 10 year's and I've been hearing stories about Fraudulent activities. There's a stop on my account and I can't access the money on my account. I've received an email stating that my account was involved in fraudulent activities and there's money money transferd into my account and is suspected to fraud. I was instructed to go and and make a affidavit explain what happened. Well I've explained everything and and I also confessed that I am aware of the transactions made on my account, I know the source and I even provided with the proof of payment. But still there's a stop on my account. The was an outstanding balance on my account (retirement fund/tax returns and other income from my beneficiaries). I can't access that too. Again they want proof of payment. I submitted whatever what I can remember but still they told me that my documents are old. I am a victim here and I want justice. I followed all their instructions but still no progress. Capitec is not a safe bank, the services are very poor including their stuff members. I'm under financial strain, I had pending payments and other debit orders I had to reverse. All want is my pending balance and warn the community about the risks of using Capitec bank account. This happens since from the 1st of October 2024. I want justice.

Beware of Tumi from Capitec at the Reef Shopping Center Two years ago, I met Tumi from the Capitec branch at the Reef Shopping Center in Albermale. We became good colleagues as he always helped with my banking. I introduced my business of selling imported goods to him, and he agreed to sell some smartwatches for me. Despite giving him several watches, he never sold any and eventually returned them. Later, he proposed that his nephew sell the watches at the coast. Trusting Tumi, I agreed. However, after weeks of struggling to get my watches back, he returned only two, both in dirty boxes, making them unsellable as new. He promised to pay for the missing watch but failed to do so, despite numerous follow-ups and broken promises. This experience has been incredibly frustrating and feels like a scam. Tumi, working at Capitec, took advantage of his position to deceive me.

Capitac treatment for their own customer is like the punishment for sin in the old testament. They paused my account for their own reasons, I went to their branch in Woodstock to fix, they told me I must go back and need proof of residence and proof of work. I must walk from Woodstock to Maitland and walk again to them. It really unfair and unacceptable. I need money to use for taxi. The worst thing is they took their debit money onto my account that I can not do anything. It's really bad

“They look real and very serious until you gave them a try. They will ask you ton of documents to prove your identity until you get tired to do so. They suspended my withdrawals as well as my balance of €6000. Stay away from this investment comapant because they don't allow withdrawal after you invested until I report them and got all my funds back. All thanks to RESORUS.com they have a good consultation and all needed to help you recover your funds a trial will convince you.

Subject: Urgent Review of Fraudulent Transactions on Capitec Account To Whom It May Concern, I am extremely disappointed with the service from Capitec Bank. Both of my children bank with Capitec, and on 13 November 2024, an amount of R3,500 was unlawfully deducted from their account. Despite reporting this incident, it has not been resolved, and we have yet to receive a refund. Shockingly, today, 26 November 2024, a further R12,000 was deducted from the same account. This is absolutely unacceptable, especially considering that the first fraudulent transaction remains unresolved. What is even more concerning is that within the past two weeks, three other people we know, who also bank with Capitec, have experienced similar issues. It is alarming that these fraudulent activities persist without proper resolution or prevention measures in place. With the festive season approaching, this situation has caused unnecessary financial stress and frustration. I urge Capitec to prioritize this matter, resolve it promptly, and provide assurance that adequate security measures will be implemented to prevent such incidents in the future. I sold my vehicle yesterday and then he paid R50,000 that was our deal , but Capitec Bank said he was recently identified as being involved in suspected fraud ,so they will be placed on hold.... right now I'm sitting without money,it's very unfair...thanks but no thanks

I will change capitec very soon woo the lines at the atm are always very long sometimes the other atm is not working becouse mostly they have just limited atm new Germany branch is a very busy branch but only 2 atm
