“Not sure you should be asking me for a review as I'm still waiting for the plates. I paid for your express service and a week later I'm still waiting. Very disappointing especially having spent over £60 for them. I definitely won't use you again.”

“Plates arrived missing the legal information to use on uk road Network, tried calling the number on website which got nowhere tried live chat only to be informed that I HAVE MADE THE MISTAKE OF ORDERING THE WRONG PLATES as CarPlatesDirect never make mistakes. So sent 2 emails 1 to sales@carplatesdirect.com & plateorders@outlook.com never received an acknowledgment absolutely disgusted at there customer service. I rechecked as I was about to reorder again only to find I did make the selection for uk road legal plates and not there show plates which are charged at half the price I paid so all this info was included in my email, I've never had any response it's 1 company I never want to deal with and will be writing further reviews elsewhere to warn of the shambolic company CAR PLATES DIRECT”

“Terrible experience- plates not delivered in time even after paying for express delivery, have emailed numerous times and had no response whatsoever, plates still not arrived and had to pay again for my mot as was waiting on them to be delivered. Shocking”

“I am utterly apaulled by the terrible customer service, I am apaulled by the poor quality of the product, I've asked for a return address and a refund and you refused to give me this, which is in breach of trading standards, The plates that I received were illegal and you guys don't give a damn terrible company with terrible staff”

“Order a number plate for my car, turned up and it can’t be used on a car. £70 down the drain. To then be told I have illegal spacing, my number plate is exactly the same as the one I already have on my car. Will never use car plates direct again”

“I cannot legally use it on my scooter cause the the plate must include the name and postcode of the supplier on the number plate by law. I tried to contact them and sort it out but never got any reply from them.”

“Placed order on 1st December. Received nothing, been onto website put my email in and order number get given a tracking number non-existent, doesn’t work when going to the tracking link. Phoned numerous occasions no one answers. Emailed to ask when I can expect my order no response. No doubt the usual reply will be we’re experiencing higher demand than normal blah blah blah. All they succeeded in doing is taking my money and nothing in return. Service what service. Had zero notifications and yet your website states I will receive notifications and yes I checked my junk mail to nothing received. Not impressed by the service you offer. So hopefully this negative review will get the desired response because all other avenues to contact you have failed. I am still a waiting my delivery over 10 days from order.”

“Ordered plates last 30th November and all I keep getting is with Evri. No help what so ever from car plates at all. Today 7th December still no plates. Will never use these people again.”

“Ordered online but did not recieve any email or text whatsoever regarding order conformation, dispatch or tracking info. Tried emailing and also asked for vat reciept; - no reply. after a few more days tried to contact again by email through paypal as was prearing to action refund via paypal; - plates turned up next day. Fortunately plates were good but still no reciept or response to either email. COMMUNCATION IS KING. Would not use again, not because the plates were more expensive than some other sites, but because of the total lack of communication and reciept. Don't know if the delivery was on time or not?”
