“Placed order on 1st December. Received nothing, been onto website put my email in and order number get given a tracking number non-existent, doesn’t work when going to the tracking link. Phoned numerous occasions no one answers. Emailed to ask when I can expect my order no response. No doubt the usual reply will be we’re experiencing higher demand than normal blah blah blah. All they succeeded in doing is taking my money and nothing in return. Service what service. Had zero notifications and yet your website states I will receive notifications and yes I checked my junk mail to nothing received. Not impressed by the service you offer. So hopefully this negative review will get the desired response because all other avenues to contact you have failed. I am still a waiting my delivery over 10 days from order.”

“Ordered plates last 30th November and all I keep getting is with Evri. No help what so ever from car plates at all. Today 7th December still no plates. Will never use these people again.”

“Ordered online but did not recieve any email or text whatsoever regarding order conformation, dispatch or tracking info. Tried emailing and also asked for vat reciept; - no reply. after a few more days tried to contact again by email through paypal as was prearing to action refund via paypal; - plates turned up next day. Fortunately plates were good but still no reciept or response to either email. COMMUNCATION IS KING. Would not use again, not because the plates were more expensive than some other sites, but because of the total lack of communication and reciept. Don't know if the delivery was on time or not?”

“Order placed on 25th October and today is the 5th November and still no plates have arrived. Tried to use the chat function on website and its really poor (order tracking broken) and no number to call for help. I have them being fitted in 2 days time and no plates; left plenty of time. Really needs to be much better - disappointed in the service so far.”

“Wasn’t clear between show plates and legal. Therefore received show plates that I couldn’t legally put on my car. Poorly finished with chewed and rough edges. Avoid.”

“Delivery is claimed to be 3 working days. I’ve currently been waiting 5 working days and the registration plates have still not arrived. These were for a birthday gift which are not after the event.”

“As with many others my experience was terrible. Opted for express delivery at £9.99 & over a week later still no number plates. Claiming a refund from my credit card company. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.”

“Ordered and expected “legal plates” I received plates with small letters, illegal for road use. Car plates direct refuse to take any responsibility. Dispute ongoing.”

“carplatesdirect.com has a faulty software platform and despite that I clicked on the option for a flag on the left and some characters in the label at the bottom the plates arrived without these. I requested the correction but carplatesdirect.com refuaed to provide the plates I had requested on their sales software platform. I have returned the wrong plates and expect a refund and will order from another manufacturer”
