“I would like to start by saying Fiona at your head office has been outstanding! She has answered all my queries in a timely manner and I cannot fault anything with her! However, I have had multiple issues with the branch. I was initially called in to view the car I was purchasing on the Monday and was informed on arrival instead of called before hand to say my car wasn’t available to view as the photographer had taken the keys away with him. I was then told by Krista that I could drive another N-connecta in branch, which I test drove. I called Fiona straight away after leaving to be informed I had drove a tekna and was given a full tank of fuel for the inconvenience caused.
I then went back the following day to see the car i was purchasing and Krista informed me the brake pads had been fixed that day and all that was left to do was the dent in the drivers door along with the few marks on the bonnet and this was followed up with the question of when I would like to pick it up. I asked when the earliest would be and was informed Thursday. We agreed 11am.
I came in at 11am and Krista came over at 11.05 to say my car was coming out the wash and being valeted and she would check on this for me. I sat in the waiting area for around an hour and 15 mins before I went outside for some fresh air and as I came back in at 12.20 Krista was at the front waiting on another customer. I asked her what was happening with my car and her response was “has no one from handover spoke to me yet?” Which I replied no. She said she would find out and come back to me. I then waited a further 30 minutes and went to the front desk and Gillian at the front desk was amazing! She got a handover manager to talk to me and I was advised my car wouldn’t not be ready till the 25th (Sunday). I was extremely irate at this point as no one had informed me of this and he proceeded to tell me that my name was not on the handover list today. He spoke to the workshop and they had said they need to replace the brake pads?! I was told this was done on the Tuesday! The handover manager managed to put my car as a priority and got me booked in for the following day at 3pm.
I phoned Fiona after leaving Peter Vardy and expressed how upset and I angry I was after expressing it in store and she advised me Krista had sent an email at 12pm to say there was a problem with the car, why didn’t Krista tell me this whilst i was in branch?
I collected the car the following day and there was a few scratches which they sorted and off I went. I did an 80 mile journey that day and on that journey my tyre pressure light came on and it has been on and off ever since. I booked it in with the branch for this problem and took it in yesterday to be fixed, low and behold the tyre pressure light came back on today and the tyres look fine!
I use Peter Vardy because 4 years ago it was the BEST service I had ever received! It has went so downhill I wouldn’t recommend anyone to use that branch again!
I am waiting on a Miller and Carter voucher which I’ve been told if going to be emailed to me but still nothing and that is 2 weeks.
Honestly, after everything that had happened I feel I should be given more for the inconvenience and 1 weeks annual leave spent in your branch for no reason!”
“I would not buy a car from this branch again! I took delivery of my car but it did not come as described. I was told it had a service history and would have a brand new MOT; it came with no service history and 3 months MOT! However the major issue I have with this branch is that I could not get hold of anyone to discuss these issues and get them sorted out. If I had seen some form of decent customer service and aftercare I would probably have kept the car but I refuse to give money to a company that misleads their customers and offers no after sales service! It’s a place like this that give second hand car salesmen a bad name!”
“Chris who supported me to purchase my car was friendly and helpful.
Large range of cars to choose from which was great, however meant it was difficult for staff to keep track of what was there and what had been sold.”
“5 stars is for Sales man Harry Campbell who was very informative and helpful and for Rebecca in customer service who must have been fed up with me phoning every day can’t thank her enough
however after sales absolutely shocking didn’t even get car home with me as engine light came on with fault got it fixed after 5 days went to pick up and key was faulty where the manager who came from Edinburgh proceeded to tell me to take it to Timpsons and get them to fix it found his manner appalling
Again Harry stepped in and got things sorted for me”

There was a problem with the hand over not the girl Sacha's fault problems with fhe finance company but sorted it the next day and delivered the car to me the next day”

“Customer Service ended after sale agreed, miscommunication after miscommunication, left in waiting area for over an hour and half before being told car not ready. The simple frustration could have been avoided if handover team provided appropriate updates. Instead strung along. Car still haf dirty parts inside when ready. After taking so long you would expect spotless perfection.
Complaints process a nightmare, callback after callback to be told the same old. In the future if these issues are resolved I would recommend but at the moment I don't have confidence in the professionalism at Peter Vardy Hillington to recommend to others.
The salesman was the most helpful and complaint was taking on board by site leader which I did appreciate however for the time being it simply wasn't good enough experience.”

“First class service in all areas. All cars we looked at were in excellent condition. All team polite , warm and friendly . Craig, our sales man, was first rate . Very professional and knowledgeable. Easy manner and not pushy. For future car purchases we will be using Craig. Transaction and handover was made smooth with all steps easily explained. “Was told all 4 wheels where refurbished which there was only 2 done and there was 4 small dents in my car when I inspected it in the day light. No service book and book pack with the car and aswell as no service history with the vehicle which I was told the car comes with some service history all in poor service wouldn't buy again from carz very poor and to top it off the paint feels like it needs a good polish”
