Terrible Experience with Castle Water – Unjustified Billing and Harassment We’ve had an incredibly frustrating experience with Castle Water. They have been sending us massive bills, demanding over £5000 without any justification or prior agreement! We never instructed them to supply our water or even contacted them, yet they keep sending these exorbitant bills out of nowhere. We’ve repeatedly asked them to provide proof that we signed up for their services, but they’ve failed to show any evidence. To make matters worse, Castle Water refuses to negotiate and blocks us from switching to another provider until we pay this outrageous sum. How is it normal practice for a company to start billing without ever speaking to us or getting our consent? It feels like complete fraud—scammers trying to rip off companies with no regard for transparency or fair business practices. This company should be investigated for these unethical actions. They need to stop harassing businesses with unjustified bills and provide real, honest services before demanding such huge payments. We hope measures are taken to prevent this kind of harassment in the future. Absolutely terrible experience!

This market Capitals trade are real scammers. I made a promise to share my scam encounter. And how I got back my money from this scam trade broker . I could never have imagined falling for the persuasion of such scammers, but it happened. I transferred almost Є72,620 to their fake trading account in my name, with no access to withdraw my money out, to my greatest surprise, I got in contact with an expert hacker, roberts__lee___6 1 8___@___gmail___com Or on WhatsApp (+1 856 549 7469) to help me retrieve my money back from the scammer which was successfully refunded back to me, I’m thankful to the recovery expert and the organization for helping me recover my money back successfully. 1. This company is a disgrace and need to be taken to court, I received a water bill for January to August for over £2,000 my salon only has a toilet so I was confused why my bill was so high I asked them to investigate and they didn’t investigate and ended up billing me £4000 for a water bill, the only water getting used is a toilet, I moved company and they still tried to bill me over £200 for a week of water. 2. The staff are no help whatsoever We all need to get together and take this company down they can’t keep trying to con people

This company should never exist any longer. They are a bunch of thieves. I should be prosecuted and the directors in prison. We’ve tried mitigation. I they don’t seem to respond. we have ongoing issues with ridiculous interest charges and legal fees if they Refuse, Mitigation we intend to take them to court and Climb for the huge amount of cost and time They have called my company.

I cancelled the DD in August 22 when our bill inexplicably went from £5 per month to £34.51 without explanation. we have been billed multiple time for £55 per month late payments. In addition, an interest rate that appears to be 250% on the £16 standing has been applied. During the complaint procedure Castle water continued to charge and instructed a debt collection agency add £336 to the bill. Despite having no water usage, only a standing water charge - which was paid up to date, they continue to compound the interest and chase the debt which now exceeds £700. AT NO POINT DID THEY ENGAGE IN RESOLUTION.

This company is a con.!! They haven't got a clue. Just robbing small businesses. I had a bill in late June of £900 for the year. ( depth collection). Which resulted in the total bill being just under £2000. I have just received a 3 month bill for £600. No one wants to talk or explain. Scam company.!!!!

Coercive, unethical and threatening - Company has overcharged us and is refusing to refund. We are now in month 4 of Castle Water 'escalating' the issue, but never resolving it. In the meantime they are chasing £19 of unpaid bills & are threatening 'further action'. This is a company that deliberately has set out its customer service processes in order to coerce and never act.

Castle Water has been severely overcharging my small family business. They are charging my business over £2700 for just one month!!! The average competitive water bill in the area my business is situated is approximately £250 PER YEAR. That is 980% MORE compared to the accurate competitive water rates charged by other providers! SAVE YOURSELF tens of thousands of pounds for your business and homes by just NOT associating with Castle Water EVER. There are countless other cheaper alternative water providers which can be found with just a simple google search. (Thank me later).

An appalling company with no interest in customer service. The latest they have sent me a fine for preventing or restricting access to my water meter. It is out on the roadside, I doubt that Castle Water have ever sent anyone to try and read it, and certainly have not contacted me about it. The sooner I switch to another supplier the better. I wish more people realised that they are able to switch to and don’t have to be stuck with Castle Water.

Thanks to castle water I’m having to close my company after 12 years as they’re billing me £10,000 for 3 years of water. I’m a small company on our knees already and they want this. It’s criminal.

How can this company operate so unlawfully? OFWAT need to address this company fast as they are profiteering illegally at the customers expense. Nobody has anything positive to say about them and most Trust Pilot reviews are insiders.

They changed my water supply from Thames water to castle water without noticing me. I was a student at that time, but they set me in a business account, charge me 300pound a month. When I send them all the documents that prove I do not own a business at that property, and do not live at the place anymore. They just ignored my email, and keep sending me bills. They are purely bullys.

I agree with every review, they are not even worth a one star , we have a little family garage business on a small trading estate, out of the other 10 businesses on the estate no one has received a water bill , we have an outside porta loo , and an outside tap we use to fill the kettle and wash our hands , and today received a bill for £10259.00 !

CASTLE WATER IS THE MOST CROCK company in the UK Terrible service ,no respect,, waste your time, and do whatever it takes to add unnecessary charges on your bill such as DEBIT RECOVERY CHARGES £329 AND LATE PATMENT CHARGES £55 for what ?????? Speaking to customer services is pointless, and next call they deny that they already spoke with you before, they give you false information to get you to pay recovery charges. Huge mistake switching to their company £1800 is my bill which is 85% overcharges for a small retail shop that has a toilet only.”

Failed to read meter for years, then attempted to charge for taking a meter reading before realising that a reading had actually been taken. Interest and debt collection charges are certainly a good way of losing customers in a competitive market: I'll be sure to close the account in the coming month. Their website states "The Best Water Suppliers [sic] for Business Owners" - no source provided, and no means of proving this outrageous claim. Unethical. Avoid at all costs.

I would like to complain formally to cow council and wondered if any of you that have complaint would like to join me?
