Refurbished " z390 aorus pro, full of dust no cables Bought gigabyte z390 aorus pro, They had an offer on website £20 cheaper from original price for as described refurbished unit, description says it will have most of the things to get you going in the box,it has been refurbished by manufacturer. Ive ordered many things from everywhere at the same time to build my pc . Ccl computers delivery arrived very last ,in the box I found Very Very well used motherboard without any cables .(SO previous person kep it all) It has a big clog of dust on the battery and MB components had patches of dust (have pictures will upload on the other review site as no option here )as some one just took his MB out and send it back . So I believe Ccl computers didn't even bother to open the box with return item they just send it out to the new customer, forget about beeng refurbished by manufacturer, So now I need to buy my pereferial cables at extra cost ,board is well used and full of dust,as understood from reviews the return process with them is just a headache, so I wll not bother and I will learn my lesson with CCL Computers. Now this item will cost me more time and money, should of just bought a new one from Better company. Invoice id W3230346 Transaction id 96M99694US432311Y

Ordered with priority delivery, my product was never even shipped to me. CCL did not let me know it wasn't going to reach me by the delivery time and when questioned was told "if it was shipped out on the 2nd of July it would be with me by the 3rd of July" but when pressed told me she didn't know if it would even be shipped on the 2nd of July. CCL representatives lied to me about my complaint in an attempt to get me to go away, ignored my voicemail, passed me off to someone else every time and no one has even apologised for their mistake. I've had a horrible customer experience and would never be looking to order from them again. You can find better retailers with a quick google search.

I bought 2 graphics cards from CCL via eBay earlier this year. No problems, and I didn't expect any as both eBay and PayPal protect buyers in my experiences. The third time I ordered a graphics card, GTX 1650 Super, on 18th May, I ordered directly from CCL website as I wanted to support a British company directly and my experiences had been good up until that point. On the 20th May I received a GTX 1650. The non super version which was a cheaper inferior card. I thought it was an error as with the particular card, an MSI 1650 Ventus XS OC, the super and non super versions look identical. The super version is 50% more powerful and about 30% more expensive. (£140 for the non-super and about £170 for the super version) So I sent it back and on the 1st June they confirmed that it had been checked and serial numbers matched etc, and I would get a refund on my card and to give up to 14 days. On the 1st of June I also checked their site and I saw a new listing that I hadn't seen before an open box MSI 1650 Super Ventus XS OC "discounted" to around £160. Coincidence? So when I saw that listing I immediately contacted my credit card company for a charge-back and I'm glad I did. They got in touch with me on 17th June and informed me that they were happy to send my case to Mastercard for a charge back and wanted to confirm a few things. They also assured me that CCL had made no attempt to refund me my money. I spoke to my credit card company again today (23rd June) and they again assured me that CCL had not initiated a refund. So the takeaway for me is not to use CCL again. The whole affair stinks. And they don't even have the good grace to simply give me my money back.

I had an issue with a keyboard I purchased from CCL (the keyboard would frequently not detect input) . Attempted an RMA, which was refused because of 'water damage'. I was confident this was not the case, so I quiried it. Their response was that there was some 'residue' (i assume this is a smudge on a keycap) . Which 'could' indicate water damage. They did not mention the lack of input detection. They simply looked for an excuse not to undego the RMA and pinned an issue on an entirley false basis, they did not ask thoroughly whay the issue was. The issue I was having could not be the result of water damage (the issue has reoccured intermittently for over a year. I do not believe the technition even recognised the problem (it was 'working' just before 8 sent it). They issue clearly stems from the way they appoach RMA's, they assume you are trying to take advantage (and go through the hassel of an RMA just for a glorified cleaning?) Rather than assuming they have sent a faulty product

I used to use CCL a lot and would recommend them to clients as reliable. Sadly this seems to have changed. Purchased a prebuilt system from them, delivered and was found faulty - not sure if they'd tested it at all. On return the GPU was faulty and the CPU incorrectly seated - as I say, not sure how this past test? Now I find that the replacement GPU is freezing and will only stop black screening if I run it at 1/3 capacity - this is due to a fault across the line, causing hotspots on the VRAM - CCL agreed to replace as not fit for purpose, they built the system and failed to adequately cool the GPU, this cannot be described as anything other than their fault. I return the GPU expecting an alternative to be sent, I have had to borrow a GPU as the ryzen range have no inbuilt GPU Today I'm told that they can't find any fault with the card and will not replace. I told them the exact issue to prevent any misunderstanding but it seems they have ignored this I have informed CCL that I will be taking legal advice and would urge anyone reading this to exercise caution in ordering from them

Poor after-sales service. My motherboard Gigabyte Aours, which I purchased from CCL under a year ago (so still on warranty), failed when I tried to update my bios following Gigabyte's official process/software. After that my PC didn't boot up to bios, instead just went through on/off loops. I contacted CCL about this, and they asked me to send it to them using pre-paid label. To my surprise, I was told that the motherboard needs to go through 5 days of checks at CCL and then once confirmed faulty they will send it to manufacturer for further ~4 weeks of checks. When I said it's unreasonable to expect me to wait for over a month to get this sorted (in particular considering I work from home) I was told it's the way it is and that it's been too long (??!!) to offer a swap or a quicker alternative solution. This was confirmed by 2 different people at CCL. Just for comparison, when my GPU failed a few years ago (was also on warranty) I simply returned it to Scan computers who confirmed it's faulty and sent me back a new one within a couple of days. Great service which understands that customers want minimum disruption. With so many retailers around it's the "little" things that count like customer service and after-sales service which you will need when things go wrong...clearly CCL has no clue about any of this. Needless to say, I will not be purchasing from CCL ever again.

Worst case of customer service I have experienced in a long time. I purchased an item 5 days ago... to be met with a notification the order was cancelled on the day it was due to be delivered. No reasoning, no explanation, just "your order has been cancelled", despite them having 20+ of the item in stock. I called them to enquire in to why this had happened. No one seemed to know. There was suggestion it was a pricing issue, and I was told the only thing I could do was repurchase the same item for over £25 more than I had originally paid for it. Obviously, paying £25 more (which is a sizeable chunk on a sub £200 item) than advertised is not ideal, but at this point I had wasted about an hour on the phone and chat, so I said fine. However, I felt that since the item should have been with me today, providing express shipping would be fair so I got it as soon as possible. At this point I was told by customer service that they would have to speak to management about this and would call me back as soon as they could. Hours drag on... it's getting to the end of the working day and no call back. I call them... I'm told management say nothing can be done with regards to shipping, other than me paying a further £9. I ask to speak to a manager, apparently they don't have a phone number. At this point I elect to take my business elsewhere and will be ensuring I do not shop here again despite having satisfactory experiences in the past. Unacceptable and pathetic service. So desperate that they can't even provide shipping when they have already messed me around and were charging me £25 more than advertised to have an item arrive 2 weeks after it was supposed to. Thankfully the item is available for £10 cheaper at Lambda-Tek anyway, with free express delivery and I have purchased from them.
