Quick dispatch after building and testing of pc. Well packed, excellent cable management when installing second ssd. Awesome beast of a machine and well priced. I will definitely be using ccl again.

CCL had some nVidia 3060 Ti cards in stock. Not cheap at £600, but the alternative was a complete new rig, which would be circa £2k. Ordered on Saturday. Paid for next day delivery. Card was with me at midday on Sunday. After reading the poor reviews here... thought it necessary to call out the good, also.

I have been using CCL for 10 years now. I decided I needed a new PC recently, and due to the lack of GPU's right now, and me being very specific about what I wanted inside my new PC i contacted CCL. The guy was very helpful and told me to email them the exact specs and they would quote me a price that included assembley. This seems the only way to get an RTX30** right now. I recieved the quote and after adding up the parts value It looked like I would be paying around £100 for CCL to build the PC for me (this includes 3 year warranty). I accepted the quote and transfered the payment to them (this is the only way to pay for a build that is not listed on the website) Received a call a few days later. There was a compatibility issue with the case and cooler i had chosen. (Lewis) patiently sat on the phone offering multiple options for me to look at. Also checking with the guys who assemble the PC to see if one or another alterative would work. Finally we had something that i was happy with and my order was revised and sent to me. The customer service there was 'above and beyond'. They dispatched my PC on the Friday afternoon and I received it Saturday morning. (Saturday DPD delivery) I cant fault the build quality of this PC. All the wiring is neatly wrapped and routed and fixed in place. A much better job than I would have made of it. It arrived set up in Bios to the memory I had selected (4000Mhz) so no messing around needed. They preinstalled windows on the drive (free) for me so all i had to do was buy a liecence key to fully activate. It came with all the spare cables and parts that were not used in the build. (PSU cables, SATA cables, spacers brackets ect from the parts boxes). 3 year warranty Inspection sheet showing all the testing that had been carried out before dispatch. Really cant fault the service and quality of work i received. Seems like people only post bad reviews on these sites. Just remember all the satisfided customers who dont feel the need to post a review when everything goes as expected.

I ordered a laptop and a custom built pc. Was told the laptop would be delivered next day which it was. The custom built pc had a lead time of a week but was delivered 3 days later. Have used previously and no problems.

Stock levels seem to be a problem as with any computer part supplier at the moment. Staff are super helpful and doing their best considering we are in a lockdown and many are working from home while demand is higher than ever! I cancelled an order last week and the refund went straight back on my card so i'm not sure what all the negative reviews are about.

I found an excellent price, very reasonable delivery charge and experienced a quick dispatch and delivery from CCL Computers. I am very happy with my purchase from them and would happily shop with them again.

These folks are lightning fast at dispatching next day orders - I placed an order minutes before 5pm one day, and it was with me the next day by DPD. Better price than the rainforest company, too.

I've been using CCL for just close to 1 year now and will be switching to OverClockers. I've had multiple issues with PC cases showing up damaged and buttons not working. When I call them to ask for advice it's always the same man that answers and he's not helpful. I've rang a few times before and he commented one time "you like to make a lot of changes to your orders don't you" which I found very rude! I thought CCL was a larger company but it seems they are smaller compared to others like OverClockers

Their customer service department rarely answers calls. They might put you on an answering machine after waiting for 30 minutes or drop the line totally after 3. They never answer emails. Their live chat answers but have no authorisation to do anything and they refer you to emails or telephone cs.

Support chat, support joke Sat 30 Jan ordered computer parts. While their prices are very competitive and their ordering system very efficient, sadly that is where it stops. If you need to change an order due to their due dates not being met then you have to contact support by phone (they don’t advertise the number unless you ask for it) or chat then you are in for a rough ride. Their support staff cannot check stock levels, don’t have a clue about component compatibility and can only pass you the the support team. They can then take 24-48 hours to process the enquiry during which time the item(s) could be out of stock again. They also do not volunteer that you can change the order yourself (could have saved me half an hour) but if you do this you cannot order the goods because it will try to charge you the full amount again, in my case £530!!. Also something that is disgusting is that the chat transcript is not sent to you after the conversation, so you do not know what info has been passed to the next person and might need to go through it all again. I know from reviews that CCL can deliver the goods if they are in stock (but their stock system is not accurate) but if you do have a problem then you are in for a long wait. As someone who has spent over £100K professionally buying IT equipment over the years I cannot recommend them as I have had vastly better service from their equally keenly priced competitors. I will not be using them again, its not how you deal with 95% of customers that counts, it is the 5% who need support that judges where my money goes. On Monday 8th Feb which was at the end of the 48 hr period with no progress I contact them on chat and ask for the sales team phone number by phone and after 11 mins and 55 seconds they tell me I can pay the balance by PayPal and they can process the order as per the email instructions. I tell them I have not received the email and it is sent and received within a minute and I action that process. The day after I receive my motherboard, ram and SSD, yay! Then on 25th Feb 2021 CCL Computers send me an email stating “Thanks for registering your interest in the ASUS ROG Strix GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER OC 8GB Overclocked Graphics Card (ROG-STRIX-GTX1660S-O6G-GAMING). We are pleased to let you know that we now have stock available for this item ready to order/reserve via our website.“ I get through to support again only to be told to ring the sales line? (Why do they have a support chat again?) Of course I immediately ring within 5 minutes of getting the email and they are all gone! I have had enough of you CCL computers, really!

Well, they have decent prices. That's it after that is all bad. Postages - free ( that keep your item for over a week to send them later for the same company as if you pay for it (So just as a punishment for you choose free postage). Others company (scan, aria, ebuyer and even Currys) post your item next day for free. Open box item - they are used ones (or maybe returned from customers) not just open box, ex-display or showroom. After sales - Avoid at all To end, I'll never used them again, no worth the pain just to save couple of £10.

The order was all open box. My Graphics Card had its manual and nvidia sticker missing... Everything else was no doubt touched including the motherboard, where fingerprint could still be seen on the board... Only things truly new was psu and cpu which were sealed. They sold me all these items as new.

Terrible company sent back fault hard drive they refused to replace, offered refund and never paid it been chasing them up with promises it will be paid by end of day and nothing . Now they are saying go to your bank if you want refund and get bank to claim money back. what a joke what sort of company acts like this blatant fraud hard drive was only £65 but thats not the point it's the principle i am just glad it was not for a larger amount . DO NOT BUY FROM THEM THIS IS A GENUINE REVIEW STILL AWAITING A REFUND NOW AFTER 6 WEEKS

Worst customer service. If you ever need to return anything forget a refund. They claim courier loss and refuse refund. Courier status never updates and when you call courier they say ccl is the client for the return labels and need to file claim but ccl is not bother. Writing this review after giving them 8 months to sort out. After 100s of messages unanswered and calls never return they note say it’s too late to investigate

Returned faulty monitor under warranty ten weeks ago. After dozens of phone calls and emails, still trying to get a refund. Lies and promises. I've been using them for years but not anymore.

Avoid CCL online. It took months and threating to sue them to finally receive a refund. I ordered 32GB of RAM, I paid premium delivery to arrive next day, and it only arrived 1 week later. They said that I would get my premium delivery charge back, which never happened. In the meantime I had already purchased another one from a different seller, so I cancelled the order from CCL because it was useless to me by this point. I even called them and they acknowledged that the order had been cancelled and I would no longer receive the item and that the money would be refunded back to my bank account. However, after one more week the item was still delivered to me which meant I wasn't refunded. Not very convenient, I now had to go through the process of packing it up and going to refund it. Alright, I did that since I had no other option at this point. This is where the real headache started, because, although I sent the item back (which was still sealed by the way, unused, in it's original packaging - since I haven't even used it), weeks would go and I wouldn't receive the money back. I started contacting them many times, each time they would tell me that they received the item back and I would eventually be refunded, and eventually one time being told that they don't have the item actually, and they have to do thorough checks. A nightmare, entire months have passed and I did NOT have my refund. Eventually I had to contact legal support and tell them that I would seek legal action. After about 3 months I have finally received my refund. That premium delivery extra charge I had never received back and gave up on it. You have been warned, they are very unprofessional, almost like a scam, AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
