“Omg, avoid, avoid, avoid. Missed collections, say you need to pay to get out of contract as they can't be held liable for missed collections that they charge you for. Endless hours spent on the phone talking to various customer service people who can't phone you back so you end up stuck on the phone for ages. No response to emails etc etc. If I could have given NIL stars I would have done.”

Finally out of contract still charge me £300 extra plus charge for pick up bin £65. Can’t believe.”

They have a contract that you can never leave (whatever the circumstances) without big penalty of payment & when your contract is up & you do all the termination of contract the right way that’s advised to you by them they will do anything they can to get extra money & when you challenge it will send a solicitor letter to frighten you! If you do agree to a contract be warned that if you ever have a query regarding the billing it is almost impossible to speak to someone & you are given every excuse as to why this problem can’t be resolved! They email saying we tried to ring you back but your phone will have no missed calls! I was charged for extra weight on nearly every bin pick up but no evidence of this was ever supplied to me & when I asked my bin man he said his weight machine was broken so how did that even work out!!! If you have a small business that’s trying to make a small profit in this world then definitely AVOID this company unless you like frustration & the extra headache of dealing with an absolutely useless company! If i had known 2 years ago about all the other unhappy customers of Cheaperwaste it would have been a god send so do your research on this company before you sign anything & if you do sign (god be with you) make sure you keep every single piece of paperwork & record every single telephone call as you will need it all in the future for helping yourself as they will deny & add things to help themselves! “Unbelievable and unreliable company. Don't get fooled by the name, they are EXPENSIVE! They don't facilitate any easier communication with the supplier. They do not respond to complaints. They do not deal with their issues. They gave me a written quotation and a more expensive one over the phone when I sign up, without making me aware of the change in price. They will overcharge you and then pretend to deal with the issues by crediting. After 5 months, and several overcharges, they issued another one time charge after the initial one. Still not credited and out of the last 5 collections, only 2 were picked up. Only drives me crazy!!! NOT TO RECOMMEND, I hope you get to read this feedbacks before you get to sign with them.”

I set up a DD, they took that as carte blanche to help themselves to additional money not agreed upon for services not agreed upon, I have been over charged so many times Ive now lost count.

“Over charge you for excess weight. Even tho there wasn’t even the agreed weight.
Won’t give information on how weight is done . Rude staff that talk over the top of you.
Most polite before taking contract out then get rude after. Agreee excess weight charge of 16p+vat per kilo then charge you 30P+vat per kilo.
If you want a decent supplier look elsewhere the list goes on and when you try and make a complaint they talk over you like your a five year old child.
Never again will I use these steer well clear.

Guaranteed excess charges and illegal insurance scams and find yourself at the mercy of the environmental agency hoping they don’t prosecute or fine you for breaking the law. Please ensure you do not sign any grossly unfair contract with outrageously one sided clauses to extract as much money as possible and hold on to for ever with ridiculous termination rules. Possible the worst company I have ever had the displeasure to have to have dealt with.
During the contact we had multiple missed collections, and constant excessive over weight charges. During the 2020 lockdown we were charged for excess when the bins were empty and not in use!
When I came to terminate the contracts, the company made no attempt to let me know that the requests had been made, and tried to auto renew a further 24months! When I finally had confirmation that I could end the contracts they then charge extra fees to do so!

The latest one is that i have to renew my contract because i didn't notify them that i wanted to cancel the next year, 3 to 6 months before the current contract had ended. It is ridiculous. They have been reported to trading standards. I hope they get shut down. It is criminal.”
