“This "company" works on basis that as business you cant get away (as there is no cooling off period for businesses aggreement made by phone) after you find all hiden costs and cancellation fees on their contract what you even refuse sign. I just paid over 450GBP (They will even not give you explanation of how this cancelation fees been calculated) just to get away from them with no collection of bin was even made. An utter disgrace this "company" is. A duty of care licence for 100GBP this is just like bad dream.”
“I wish i had seen these reviews before signing up for 12 months. We are experiencing exactly the same problems as most other reviews in:
1) No collections on day we have been advised or subsequent days thereafter
2)Told blatant lies that bin had not been placed out for collection
3) Unbelieveable amount of time trying to contact their alleged customer service team by phone
4) Once you do get to speak to anyone they do not offer any help to resolve
5) They have taken two months payments by DD without any service / collections
6) I was given a e-mail address to send complaint to by a staff member of their customer service only for e-mail to bounce back as it is no longer a method of contact
I have now cancelled my DD with them & asked bank to recall payments they have taken under false pretences.
If anyone is thinking of using this company for waste collections then do yourself a big favour & steer well clear.”

“Cancelled my contract in May 2020, after several emails their customer service manager acknowledged my notice. In November they decided to take £200 from my account and even though they accepted their error it is now December 2020 and they still no refund. I asked the details of the financial controller and they declined to give. In which other company this happens? None, they shouldn’t be allowed to trade, their managers don’t even put their full name on LinkedIn so no one can bother them with any issues.”

Between 6 to 3 month's prior to the end! What other company does that? Only ones that would like you to believe this crappie and think you are trapped into another 24 month's of theft. As you progress in your contract you will be subjected to hidden extras , one of which will be excessive bin weight, regardless if its empty or full!
Try emailing, nothing, try calling, nothing !! They will just their hand into you hard earned money and pull out their excessive weight charge.
A duty of care licence??? Hidden charges. They don't let you know about anything, as clearly you wouldn't sign up to them. When you eventually manage to speak to someone, they say they are not obliged to tell how much overweight your bin was. 🤣 Hilarious, so they can just make it up as they go. Idiots. Stay away.”
“The worst company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. DO NOT use CheaperWaste - I am disgusted with this company - they should not be allowed to continue trading. It has just cost me £500 to extract myself from a contract that I signed back in March 2018; a contract that they did not have the courtesy to inform me they had rolled over for another 2 whole years without my knowledge or consent! Added to this I have been paying for uncollected bins for 9 months, having sent numerous emails asking to terminate contract with no response, and no one ever answers the phone. Absolute daylight robbery.”

They are so thoroughly incompetent that even their cancellation process has taken the best part of 5 months to complete. “They charge for excess bin weight, during lockdown , we were actually closed. They then say they don't have to show you the proof , and they miss collections and charge for excess weight still !! So we think after 24 months we cancel our contract , but apparently not , we were supposed to give them 3 to 6 months notice? Why? So they can extract more excess bin weight from us? “Monthly direct debit payments totalling >£500 taken with virtually no service. Made numerous complaints. Takes at least 2 weeks to respond to emails. Average waiting time on phone to customer service 45min. Told we need to pay more to break a contract which we never even signed! As a business owner I’m embarrassed they’re still in business, with service like this I wouldn’t be. Do not do business with them.”

“You are not worth 1 star. Worst company we have ever dealt with. Very clever salespeople reel you in and then you are in with the devils advocate. Missed binlifts but you still get charged for them, change day of collection without prior warning, verbal contract does not match the written one. Salespeople forget to tell you about all the hidden charges like landfill charge, bin rental charges, excessive weight charges and document price would nearly double. Once they got your money they don't care. Look at other reviews on Google etc also look at FB site Cheaperwaste Unhappy Customers nearly 500 other businesses all with similar problems. These are middlemen go with the bin providers or your local council. If you go with CW your life will be made a misery. I wished I had looked at reviews before getting reeled in.”
