I didn’t mention that the ticket price was in USD. I thought it was in CAD. Unfortunately, I bought a expensive ticket.

I had no trouble finding the flights I wanted into Canada. When I found a better fare they have provided me a lower fare on my next flight.

I would have given you 5, but when I called your agent asking to notify ANA (all nippon) that we are checking as luggage a small dog with total weight of 13K (dog & solid cage), in compliance with CDC requirements and IATA . I explained that I have no means to contact directly from Thailand the airline, she was categoritely negative for adding this information to our booking with our email for the airline if they want to communicate with us. I haven’t actually taken the flight yet, so until I’m able to board I’ll reserve my review to 4 stars. I had been searching for Tokyo flights for three days so I’d seen pretty much every combination of tickets out there and was very aware of pricing. DFW to LAX on American and then ANA to NRT and return nonstop was running around $2600. Found it $1178 and booked 3. When my tickets hadn’t arrived 5 hours later, I became concerned that I’d been scammed and logged into their chat with Rob. He checked, assured me it was legit and about 2 hours later the tickets came through my email. I went on ANA and booked seats and meals. Seamless overall and looking forward to Tokyo.

Although my initial experience didn't go over well, in part to an error I made, the following day I got a call back and an offer to try to make things right. I feel a reasonably fair conclusion has been reached. I also am under the impression the final customer service agent really did listen to me. I had a one character omission in the spelling of my name, I was told it would cost $99 to fix this error. There were "free cancellations" within 24 hrs. Upon trying to cancel (immediately) I was told there was over a $100 feee to cancel. The terms and conditions did say free and then in finer print with a "fee". I had two unacceptable customer service experiences. I get I made a mistake however their advertising of free cancellations was completely untrue.

Made it really hard to cancel a refundable ticket (e.g. going to manager for 5-10 minutes at a time) and charged over $200 to do so. My concern was addressed after the fact.
