“I purchased a “refundable” ticket. Within 24 hours of booking my plans changed and I requested a refund. I was offered a refund “less $300 because I couldn’t get the extra payment to make the ticket refundable repaid. Maybe I am just naive but to me a “refundable ticket” meant the whole thing is refundable as it would be on any major airline website. Not surprisingly, I am therefore disappointed in this outcome”

“I asked customer service how many checked bags were free, and was told that all checked bags were charged. The first one was $95 and the second one was $248,,,I can't remember for sure, During the course of our conversation, the fee for the first checked baggage changed to $148. But I told you $95 by mistake, so I'll give you a special $95. However, I was told on the condition that I purchase now. I did not purchase the fee for check-in baggage because it looked like a scam. I carefully read the email from the airline ticket purchase and the check-in baggage is INCLUDED! I also checked with the airline company!! I cannot believe that your company is operating in such a fraudulent manner! If you doubt me, look at the chat conversations!　 If it's so vicious, I'm going to publicize it to the world. I am so glad I did not purchase anything additional.”

“Never again. They deliberately make some kind of error for you to call and pay more for whatever possible on earth. No wonder the they pick up the phone right away. Who does that anymore nowadays. Also great service in the plane, but you are so pressed in between seats back for left right that you can hardly breathe.. next time I’ll pay a couple of hundred dollars more and will be comfortable for my seven hours flight to Paris”

“Never recieved my 6 digit spirit code. Had to call in and took 15 min to get it still... very frustrating and unnecessary. Thats the kind of things that makes you lose Business and zero return users. Good luck”

“No communication what so ever. I booked a flight for next day travel and immediately got a confirmation email. The email said I would receive my tickets within 2-24 hours. 24 hours later, nothing! I call Cheap Flights Fares and they are like “oh yeah, we aren’t giving you tickets because the price we had on our website was a discounted rate and we don’t want to sell you that price anymore. You have to pay us more money if you want to travel!” Why was this never communicated? Why did I have to be the one to pay for a mistake the company made?”

“After booking the flight including seat assignments, I received my confirmation for the airline. I was extremely disappointed that I had to pay again to book my seat selection with the airline. I don't know why my seat selections were not included when your service passed the reservation to the airline but for a 6k booking I expected much more.”

“You appear to be scamming customers by giving fake flights which are paid for, then calling days later to say the flight is not available and trying to offer another flight for more money. In addition, any customer trying to cancel a flight within 24 hours is lied to and told they can either only get “credit” for a future booking or that there is a $150+ fee. The law is clear that you are required to refund 100%. Only those repeating this law will ever get a refund after calling multiple times, getting put on hold (10+ minutes) and being transferred to multiple people and then being told someone will call back in 3 hours trying to run out the 24hr clock?”

“To be honest, my experience with Cheap Flights Fares was not good and I don't think I would ever want to repeat it. It all started with me finding a really good deal and "booking" it. This means everything can change, which is critical when buying airline tickets. The next day they called and said that the booked flight was not available and offered another one, of course at a higher price. It is worth noting that choosing another flight over the phone is extremely inconvenient, especially if you are not flying alone, and especially if the person/people are not nearby during the conversation. I cancelled my booking. Soon they called me again and offered me a flight with a suitable time and price. I booked it, breathed a sigh of relief and... got a third call that the flight was unavailbale. Unbelievable! After a long and exhausting conversation, we reached the halfway and booked a third flight. The timing was not very good and the price was a bit high, but it was too late to back out, I had gone too far. The booking confirmation came quickly, and it was only then I discovered that it had been in US dollars all along, not in CAD dollars. Needless to say that the currency on their website is not obvious. As a result, it would be much easier and more profitable to use any other service on the very first day of searching for tickets. Okay, I just came to terms, BUT I will never use this service again and I certainly will never recommend it to any of my friends.”

“Terrible company, would never buy or recommend them again. Long story short: they sold me tickets with carryon bag included but when I get to the check in counter the lady said no carryon was allowed and we were charged $150. It creates so much hassle and stress. When I called the support people they talked about them later on left me a message saying that carryon was not allowed. As a proof I uploaded the ticket information from this company. Please check. Thank you Now I look forward to filing a formal complaint and claim against these people.”
