“Cancel my flight within the 24 hours period. They told me it could take up to 3 months to get my refund. It’s been over 3 months 1/2 and they told me to wait longer.”

“After booking the flight including seat assignments, I received my confirmation for the airline. I was extremely disappointed that I had to pay again to book my seat selection with the airline. I don't know why my seat selections were not included when your service passed the reservation to the airline but for a 6k booking I expected much more.”

“You appear to be scamming customers by giving fake flights which are paid for, then calling days later to say the flight is not available and trying to offer another flight for more money. In addition, any customer trying to cancel a flight within 24 hours is lied to and told they can either only get “credit” for a future booking or that there is a $150+ fee. The law is clear that you are required to refund 100%. Only those repeating this law will ever get a refund after calling multiple times, getting put on hold (10+ minutes) and being transferred to multiple people and then being told someone will call back in 3 hours trying to run out the 24hr clock?”

“To be honest, my experience with Cheap Flights Fares was not good and I don't think I would ever want to repeat it. It all started with me finding a really good deal and "booking" it. This means everything can change, which is critical when buying airline tickets. The next day they called and said that the booked flight was not available and offered another one, of course at a higher price. It is worth noting that choosing another flight over the phone is extremely inconvenient, especially if you are not flying alone, and especially if the person/people are not nearby during the conversation. I cancelled my booking. Soon they called me again and offered me a flight with a suitable time and price. I booked it, breathed a sigh of relief and... got a third call that the flight was unavailbale. Unbelievable! After a long and exhausting conversation, we reached the halfway and booked a third flight. The timing was not very good and the price was a bit high, but it was too late to back out, I had gone too far. The booking confirmation came quickly, and it was only then I discovered that it had been in US dollars all along, not in CAD dollars. Needless to say that the currency on their website is not obvious. As a result, it would be much easier and more profitable to use any other service on the very first day of searching for tickets. Okay, I just came to terms, BUT I will never use this service again and I certainly will never recommend it to any of my friends.”

“Terrible company, would never buy or recommend them again. Long story short: they sold me tickets with carryon bag included but when I get to the check in counter the lady said no carryon was allowed and we were charged $150. It creates so much hassle and stress. When I called the support people they talked about them later on left me a message saying that carryon was not allowed. As a proof I uploaded the ticket information from this company. Please check. Thank you Now I look forward to filing a formal complaint and claim against these people.”

“I purchased tickets and called customer service to cancel in less than 12 hours. They informed me that they cannot provide a full refund due to a $200 airport fee. This is frustrating, especially since a 24-hour cancellation policy is supposed to be in place. Additionally, I learned that there is a minimum processing time of 5 hours for the refund to be forwarded to another department, which does not align with the 24-hour cancellation window.”

“This is a bait~and-switch operation. I booked a business class flight on their website yesterday. They told me the next day that the airline couldn’t confirm the seat I ordered, and then they tried to sell me different tickets over $1,000 more. Meanwhile, the price I had yesterday was still available on their website for similar flights, which they would not offer on the phone. So you cannot trust the prices on their website, as they just used that price to get me hooked and then tried to change the sale. Unethical.”

“Not a fan of their tactics. Booked a flight with them and they immediate called me saying the flight didn’t have the rate that THEY advertised and they would “need to charge me more money to guarantee the seats”. I agreed to the rate hike (more than 100$ per ticket on an international flight). Now I got an email that I would NEED to pay for seat reservations. I don’t feel like their run around is worth the maybe 50$ I am “saving” per ticket.”

“I had an agent called me after I paid all fees and ticket because the Taxes weren’t supposedly paid when I purchased the tickets. So I had to pay an extra $100 after I had already paid. That’s not fair business, I bought the tickets due to the price, if I would of known it was $100 extra, I could of bought tickets with a different airline. No longer will use this website.”

“I got the bait and switch service. I purchased an airfare that included a carry-on bag and was told after the fact, the service I purchased was no longer available. To be fair, I had seen that same fare on other sites witout the carry-on option which is why I went Cheap Flights Fares to begin with, then they did not honor what was promised. It ended up costing me an additional $70 to check my bag. I will not use this service provider again.”
