“Worst experience ever. I currently have a family emergency and need to travel from Belgium to US in a rush. I booked a flight on Icelandic Airlines through cheapflightsfares. The flight is delayed by more than 10 hours with no information provided for re-routing, rebooking, etc. I had to purchase another ticket on a different airline and, while Icelandic Air is willing to refund my ticket, cheapflightsfares, will refund only $700 of $1,100 charged to my card, and I even took their insurance. Update after 3 months: This company is clearly a scam operation, potential customers beware!! I even purchased their "insurance" in case of ticket changes. They refunded only a portion of the ticket cost while Icelandic Air informed me they would cancel my ticket with no penalty. I'll never use them again!”

“I booked a flight at a rate of $86. My credit card didn’t go through for some reason but I received an email that started my rate was guaranteed for 24 hrs. I updated my credit card and sure enough about 20 min later I got a call saying that the prices have gone up so they cannot charge my card. This was within 4 hrs of receiving the email stating a guarantee. I rebooked another flight and once again the payment verification process was faulty. I had to call and be on the phone where I had already spend numerous hours online looking for flights and chose cheap flight fares and here they are disorganized and lying about rates. 10/10 DONT RECOMMEND”

“Your website UI and UX are terrible, and it takes FAR TOO MANY STEPS to buy a ticket through your site. Overall, needlessly complicated and time-consuming. It should be much better.”

“Mixed. I booked two flights. After some confusion and assuring my bank it wasn’t fraud, I called cheap flights fares and was assured everything was ok and I would have both r/tickets in a few hours. I have received only one ticket but not the second after 24+ hours, I reached out at Facebook @8am today-it’s now 8pm and no response at all. That is disappointing.”

“Worst experience EVER. All kinds of confusing alternate dates and 'nearby airports' popping up. Once I got booked, the message popped up that I had saved money by choosing a nearby airport-- which was scary, as I had no idea I had done this. I called customer service, who tried to convince me that I airport I was looking at on my screen was NOT the one I was going to--unless I paid an extra $33 per person. She was not able to explain why and finally gave up, saying all was well. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE time. Never again.”

“When Visa initially declined the charge (I'd had a problem with a false charge a month ago, and this one somehow seemed suspicious to them; I don't know why they didn't check with me before declining the charge), the customer service rep I had to speak to was very friendly and helpful in getting the issue resolved. However, I don't think it was entirely fair not to honor the original discounted fare.”

“. I purchased refund and cancellation insurance. $45 extra. I tried to cancel more than 24 hours in advance (as stated on the website and in an email and the company is trying to get me a refund from the airline. So,after long wait still no refund. Could possible be the worst company to deal with ever. NO REFUND OR CREDIT FOR FUTURE FLIGHT WHAT IS THE POINT OF PAYING FOR CANCELLATION INSURANCE WHEN IT DOES NOT WORK.”
