“Sold me prawns that were off and refused a refund!
An an absolutely horrible experience. I’d orders prawns on Sixty60. Prepared them for a big Eid lunch for my family and extended family only to be mortified that the prawns were off! It was excruciatingly embarrassing! Imagine the scene as people are eating and realising the prawns are off and one by one coming to tell me to take it off the table! Topping it all off when I called to request a refund they politely said no, I need the boxes as proof. Now you tell me, who keeps the boxes of frozen food items!? It’s not a TV!! If I get calls from family members saying they got food poisoning then I’m going escalate this as far as possible! How **********!! And to think I was so impressed with checkers customer service before this! I would like my refund please! And the fact that the prawns were on special proves that they knew these prawns were on their way out or already bad!! Why still put it up for sale!!! They were trying to get rid of it, and they know very well that’s it’s a hot Eid lunch item and that it would sell! Taking advantage of the patrons need for them!

“Checkers received payment for my online order back in January, The food was not delivered to me and I have not received my refund yet. I have been ignored by customer service and was told twice my case would be passed on to a supervisor. But no refund yet! Checkers send me coupons that I don’t use and coupons will not rectify you greed and disrespectfulness. I was my refund.”
“90% of the time their ice cream is sour in most of their locations or they do not have it available. though it's a good price, it's a waste of your money when you have to throw it out due to the sourness (possibly bad milk) of the taste.

I find the work ethic of ALL LEVELS of CHECKERS staff to be most unprofessional. Customer service is rock bottom from top down! Floor staff have never heead of this concept it seems!..
Always have to double check the price of each product as the shelf price and grams weight at fruit n veg is inaccurate or not congruent with till price . Recently i was charde over R100 for 4 bananas! Mistake made by floor staff weighing product! To get the mistake attended to and rectified took > 30 minutes.. and then with a huff from staff. Altogether wary of CHECKERS!!
And as for the 60/60 scooter people with total disregard for Traffic rules .. iwonder whether they have legitimate, legal drivers licences¿
The revamped stores are lovely to shop in but the staff attitude ruins the experience!”
“I kmow I was over charges today. I had somewlse on my mind when she told me the price because I handed her a 20 bill for a 2 for 4.50 cheeseburger . I Didn't get a receipt for my purchase and didn't want to hold the line for a little difference. The fact remains if everyone that comes to the line get cheated someone is making good by the end of the day. JUST SAYING

“So we bought a big peppermint crisp tart from checkers in Brits mall. Honestly R60 wasted it taste horrible it presented nice but tye taste was a big disappointment.suggestion rather make proper tart sell it for n bid more and they will fly from the self. Much dissatisfied and tea time ruined.”

Either Checkers left out something I had ordered OR this time I had ordered a Strawberry Milkshake!! Instead of my Milkshake! They sent me a Strawberry Drink!

Last time I ordered a Big Buford Combo and there were NO FRIES IN THAT ORDER AT ALL!

iM REWARDS member i get discounts when i make purchases. I had terrible experience at 1205 Monticello, Norfolk, VA i was trying to purchase BOGO double Bufford burger through my reward app. but manger didn't want to honor that saying you come all the time for discounts sound like he was disturb that it bother him that im saving $$$$ such a hater, then i realize the manager block me from getting any specials n discounts from rewards app. i file case to corporate n they not doing nothing about this incident, don't return my call, not getting back with me n etc. So, i have solution to all this madness i wont support them or boycott them, n slip on some bad reviews about them because they need to be expose i don't want anyone else to go through this terrible experience. i will never go back!”

I'd hate to see them fall to the other burger places standards because I love your Big Buford and olive burger. And that robot at drive through is a pain in the butt !!!!!!”

“I went to your Checkers location on Wednesday night around 11:15 pm,On Grand River near Southfield Fwy.I ordered A large Triple Big Buford meal,and cheese sticks,I recieved A Small cheese burger ,not the triple I ordered,no way the employee didn't know this was A small burger,Fies were fine,the cheese sticks I could have left there at the store,And the coke I ordered was just water and ice,I didn't eat the meal be asue I felt I would end up sick, Either the soda issue was intentional or that drink had been sitting for A lengthy amount of time.I paid almost 17 dollars for this meal to be.highly.disappointed.I just departed from working A 12 hours shift and this wasn't what I expect to spend my hard earned money on....I sorry but this is unacceptable by any standards...”
