“I ordered some items way in advance for an event. After over two weeks of no movement I tried calling and emailing customer service. Phone was busy every time. Email took multiple attempts and a few days before I got any response. What I did get was a confusing update on my package, but no explaition on why it was taking so long. Also no ETA on when I could expect delivery.
It's been almost another week and the items still have only made to California. I am in Oregon with still no ETA.
I no longer need the items as I went ahead a got a better outfit from another company with better service for less.
I have tried asking for them to just cancel the order and give me a refund. The email said they can't as it's already shipped. That I will have to return it once I receive it. The teitn procedure is complicated and I'll have to pay for the shipping costs although it not my fault.
I have read other people have had the same problem and don't get a full refund if any even if they do return items.
This has been a very costly lesson that I should only work with companies I am familiar with and they have accessible customer service.
In the same time I ordered from Chic me I have had three other companies send me orders no problem and been able to easily answer any questions I may have over phone.
If you're u have a good experience I am happy for you, but I. Not the only one who has had this very issue.
The outfit I ended getting through Banana Republic is adorable and I'll be every happy with it. Wish I had just gone there in the first place.”

So the suit is too large and I could not wear it..

“You have a return policy I was told you would give me 10%. Unacceptable I want a refund 100%. You will not email me a return label so I will have to stop payment on my purchased. What u are doing is illegal!!!!!”
“I ordered 4 items. Did not like any of them!! Cheap quality. Trying to get information on how to return them. I was offered &5.00 to keep them or a 10% discount on my next order. Unacceptable!! I will not order again”
“Never bothered to send my order as an item wasn’t in stock, but they didn’t cancel my order or let me know that the items wernt in stock they just kept telling me to wait 3-5 days, it got to 16 days and 2 days before I needed the outfit I contacted them again for them to only then tell me it was never shipped, they said they would send the items they had in stock then once the other dress was back in stock which would be at least another 10 days then they would send it (why they wouldn’t just send the items they had in stock to begin with I don’t know) I told them it would be too late and just cancel the order and refund me, they then replied saying there were gonna ship the items that day which I replied again explaining I didn’t need them so please don’t send them, they then told me I needed to pay 10% cancellation fee in order to that, even though the whole mix up was on them.
I then replied to say that won’t be happening and I’ll be taking it further if so, luckily I paid through clear pay and send all the screenshots to them to they opened a dispute and chicme then refunded my money.
First and last time I’ll ever order from there.”
