“Bought a bottle for my great nephew's 18th and completed the engraving request. At no time was my attention drawn to a character limit but they only printed part of his surname. I'm so upset Tried to find a number, but they obviously don't want to know. Their 'bot' offers no reasonable choices. Messaged them via Facebook. No response. Feel this is very cynical and unconcerned with the plight of their customers, which roughly interprets as NO CUSTONER SERVICE.”

“My bottle leaks! Wish I had read these reviews before buying as it seems to be a common problem. Leaked coffee in my expensive handbag! Contacted the company & they are now reluctantly sending a replacement lid but they dont have my colour in stock) so wont match but am doubtful it will work anyway! Expensive item wont purchase again. Was lured by rose gold colour! What a fool I am!”

“Series 2 sports lid is not fit for purpose. it leaks. When I asked for a refund I was told somewhat smugly "didn't you read the FAQs? it says it's not leak proof". Seriously? £17 for a sports lid that leaks? I've bought sports lids for other company's bottles that are a third of the price that don't leak at all.”

“A lover of the chilly bottle , myself and my daughter both were gifted your new coffee cups this Xmas. Only to be disappointed that they leak every time they are used. Coffee over clothes not cheap for a product not fit for purpose.”

“Gifted a Series 2 500ml bottle and the 340ml coffee container. Both items are super easy to clean and look vibrant. The series 2 is preferred over my series 1 as the newly designed collar is perfect to drink from (much better then metal against your teeth or lips). No issues so far with leaking or the collar unscrewing (no need to over tighten the collar to the lid). Would recommend as I did for my series 1 to family and friends. Bought my wife a Series 2 bottle and Series 2 coffee cup as a gift set too!”

“Was so excited by the series 2 design (aesthetics, handle, silicon base) but similar to other reviews actually drinking from it is totally impractical. The collar screws off as you attempt to open it and the collar is not comfortable to drink from, I've spilt water on myself twice using just for the first time today. Expensive and can't now be returned, disappointed.”

“I bought a chilly 2 coffee cup after a couple of weeks the tabs that hold the disc on broke, I got a replacement and now it has broken again, I am always careful and line the holes up before separating the 2 parts. It’s a very poor design as these have to be taken apart to clean them. I’m very disappointed and would find it difficult to recommend this model of coffee mug to anyone”

“Order placed ten days ago. Email to say delivery by midnight yesterday. Tracking shows that Evri were in fact returning item to them having 'failed' to deliver it 5 days previously. We were in at the time quoted on the tracker and no note or email to let us know. Chilly's web pages contain no contact numbers so that you can speak to someone or provide feedback. Their 'Zen' bot is exactly the opposite and locks up. I want a refund, but have no way of chasing it up!!!!! Between Chilly's and Evri (Hermes in process and performance still!) I am exasperated. Avoid using them online - go to John Lewis or Cotswold Trading rather than direct to Chilly's.”

“I received my new series 2 coffee cup last week and unfortunately like the rest of the reviews the lids are faulty.mine leeks from the collar and the twist part of the lid,also when you drink from it the hole is so small it also leeks from there.nowhere to contact anyone to get a refund on this awful expensive product!”

“I bought a bottle in 2019 but haven’t used it much due to the pandemic. I went to use the other day for hot water and it was cold within hours and was obviously faulty. Terrible customer service and they are refusing to replace the bottle as it’s out of their warranty. Don’t expect your bottles to last or be treated as a valued customer by this company.”

“In my mind Chilly's were high quality bottles, and I had wanted one for a while. The series 2 lured me in. I even read the reviews and saw people moaning about the collar and didn't believe it. The collar regularly unscrews alongside the lid during everyday use which I find incredibly irritating. You have to hold the collar in place to avoid this, which is uncomfortable. Overall the design is not practical. Purchase at your own risk! (Don't even think it's that good at keeping things cold either)”

“Design fault that the collar unscrews when you unscrew the lid. Wish I’d checked the reviews first. Many others saying same thing. I contacted customer services but they would replace or refund as it is now ‘used’! I couldn’t know about the design fault until I used it. Really expensive. Really poor product. Avoid.”

“I was lured in by the beautiful design of the Chilly's Series 2 coffee cup. It is a thing of beauty! I was able to pick 3 colours of my choice. However once in use it is very disappointing. The open/ close method is tricky?stiff and the hole very small to drink out of. It ends ups dribbling down the side and down my chin. As far as I can see I have to uncrew the whole top to drink easily. Also the drink is not warm for 4 hours.. much less. I assume now I have used it I cannot return it. Save your money. It is a poor design for something that is meant to be an upgrade. All other Chilly's products I have bought have been brilliant”
