such a shame! I own both types of Chilly bottles, the original and the series 2. After being really satisfied with the actual function of the bottle to keep fluids warm or cold I decided to buy myself a bottle from the series 2 as I prefered the new design and I wanted to profit from more drinking comfort. However once using the bottle I was a bit disappointed. The new added collar, which promises more drinking comfort as you lips dont touch the metal, but the nicely shaped collar, cannot be properly attached to the bottle. It attaches by srewing/turning the collar onto the bottle, so basically the exact same movement as you do when you open and close the bottle by screwing/ turning the lid. So each time you open the lid of the bottle, the drinking collar always follows, which destroys the entire function of this bottle. I am forced to screw off the lid and after that screw off the collar drom the lid and replace it on the bottle each time I want to drink. To me, this is not 100% thought- through design. It looks nice, but it really isnt practical at all.

Order placed over two weeks ago, parcel sent with Hermes. Showing as 'delayed' for three days (which I know means lost). You can't speak to anyone in customer service, the chat app doesn't work on an iPhone and when I did 'chat' with someone, they said they'd look into it and it would take 4 working days, which means my Christmas present won't be here in time. I suggested they send a new one as the delivery cut-off for x-mas is tomorrow and they said they wouldn't do that. I asked to chat to a manager and they wouldn't do that either. I asked if they'd respond to me today and they wouldn't commit to that either. SIMPLY TERRIBLE, Stay away. Use S'Well - they have excellent customer service.

Terrible customer service, my parcel got delivered to the wrong address, wasted countless hours trying to get in touch with someone but as they have no customer service phone line this is virtually impossible. No apology and still trying to chase up a refund or replacement and getting refused despite providing clear photographic evidence that the Hermes proof of delivery photo does not match my address. Have literally paid for absolutely nothing and May aswell have thrown my money down a drain.

Ordered and paid for an engraved bottle. Should have been delivered by 7.12.21 Hermes tracking had it as being returned to sender, no reason given. 1.5 hrs chat with Chillys , who will not refund me, stating that as it’s engraved their policy is to wait for bottle to “turn up”, this could take up to 30 days. Totally unacceptable. Awful customer service.

Ordered a series 2 bottle and coffee cup and then saw these reviews and thought what have I done, especially the coffee cup and the leaking issue. I needn't have worried. The coffee cup doesn't leak for me and keeps my drinks hot for about 2 1/2 to 3 hours with the hole open. The top Tis quite stiff before you put a hot drink in it but i was warned about this. They also feel nicer in the hand than the Sho bottles. The only criticism was the box they were packaged in. It was very thin and was partially open also a small dent in the water-bottle lid but it is a small dent and I can live with it. I have since ordered another coffee cup for my husband.

Totally underwhelmed!!! Paid £10.00 on each item to have names engraved. Please don't bother, names are tiny and look rediculous! What an absolute waste of money. Hope I can save others from making the same mistake.

Good day! I was really excited about my personalized chilly's cup series 2..i love the texture and the color i chose plus the engraved name on it. it doesn't spill and no leakage on any sides. however, upon my first usage noticed how the temperature immediately dropped - way different from the 4 hours as said on advertisements. i less than 30 minutes, my suppossedly hot drink is already warm. ..disappointing though.. ..if only i could send it back for the company/management to check on the insulation/maybe any damages on my cup i would definitely do so just to make use of this purchase......

Cup is damaged and been offered an email of instructions and sending me stuff to fix it myself. The product is faulty replace it. What a rubbish customer service.

First impressions of the Series 2 coffee cup (not the bottle) are that it's a beautiful object. It's very well designed...to the eye. The soft touch underneath is great. This I love. It's a really nice quality of life addition that you didn't know you wanted, but definitely do now. Unfortunately that's where my glowing review ends. Mine doesn't leak like others mention, although I don't put it through its paces in that regard. What I don't like, is the tiny flat hole that you drink out of. On other products, Chilly's have improved the actual act of drinking out of it tenfold. Here, it's like they've tried to make it worse. I don't think I've ever finished a coffee out of it, because I just can't drink much through that hole. It's usually cold before I can (which isn't that long with the hole open). If they improved this, it would like be the perfect coffee cup for me.

Recently purchased a Series 2 Coffee Cup, I really wish I had read all of the reviews below. This design looks good on screen but is definitely flawed. I think everyone is blinded by the marketing behind this. A coffee cup should not leak like this, what a waste of money. Do not purchase this coffee cup.

I ordered an engraved series one 500ml blush coffee cup for a 16th birthday present. The engraving was definitely not worth the extra £10. It is minute and quite frankly a joke.

I have loved Chillys bottles (the ORIGINALS) for years and when I saw the look of Series 2, and the description of the improvements, I decided to order one bottle and one coffee mug. What a disappointment!! The shape of the original bottle gives a smoother drinking experience than the new boxy shape. The sleeve around the neck of the bottle, which sounded great, just feels strange. The sleeve, anyway, very frequently twists off WITH the top, which it’s not meant to. And whilst the coffee cup Series 2 does not claim to be 100% leak proof, oh boy, is it NOT leak proof!! It leaks EVERYWHERE, ALL the time! The position of the teeny sip hole means it even leaks when drinking!!! The trouble is, of course, that you only find these things out ONCE you have used them, and once you have used them, you can’t return them! Result? An expensive mistake!! 😢 The new carry loop on the bottle IS good however, so ONE plus over the (cheaper!) original … just one!!

I have been a loyal chilly’s customer for a few years, and have been really pleased with my Series 1 water bottles. My partner and I recently purchased identical Series 2 Coffee Cups and have been hugely disappointed. Despite an unnecessarily complex design, the cup leaks when being held whilst walking and trying to drink from it without coffee ending up all down my front is another story … I contacted Chilly’s to complain about the issue and was told two things: 1. The cup isn’t leakproof: understood but why does it leak with drinking? 2. You should allow your drinks to cool down before tightening the lid: how can you sell a product designed to keep drinks hot for 4 hours and then suggest customers should let it cool first? I was then sent a new lid after insisting that there was an issue and the problem remains. Considering this is one of the most expensive insulated coffee cups I’ve come across, I’d urge anyone considering buying one to think again and to go for something cheaper. Chilly’s is a great brand but this edition is not worth the money and in fact makes coffee on the run and more stressful process.

I feel like I spent a small fortune buying bits to take work, I bought a large 1.8l bottle (which started leaking after about 4 weeks), it isn’t balanced very well and falls over very easily and dents badly as a result. I also purchased two food flasks which don’t keep food warm for more than an hour or two even when I fill it with boiling water to warm it up before adding soup it’s just stone cold by lunch. I also purchased a different lid, which in the photo was a different colour to the pot and it arrived as the exact same colour. Overall I’m very unhappy with the lot, would not recommend, the thermos ones I have had in the past are much superior.

The series 2 coffee cup leaks, even when kept upright. I thought my product was faulty so I contacted Chilly's only to have customer service tell me the series 2 coffee cup "is not designed to be leak proof with temperatures above 60 degress". Seems like a pretty serious design flaw it is not designed to be leak proof. Also, I bought the cup to keep hot liquids hot, not to wait until they cool down to 60 degrees before it can be used properly!

I have. found the customer service poor, and the coffee cup is a leaky joke. It has ruined my bag, the coffee does not stay warm. Reading these reviews has confirmed for me that it isn't worth the bother of trying to sort it. But I won't be buying ever again.

Series 1 bottle is really nice and simple and keeps the water cold for a long time but really dissapointed in the series 2 in terms of temperature. With ice cold water the temperature raises really quickly, within 4 hours its near room temperature. The design is nice on series 2 but series 1 is better for keeping water cool.

Leaky lid ruining my bag and paperwork!!! Drip. Drip.Drip. . . . . I told customer services but because it is out of warranty they will not help - fair enough - I will therefore not reccomend your bottle as I believe it is either a design flaw or bad materials in the plastic thread of the lid which is "threaded" - as the drip got worse I had to tighten it more and the bottle is now a useless ornament - my cheaper alternative has lasted nearly 10 years! Not worth the hype. Thank you customer services, good work!

Bought a 500ml series 2, the cap leaks every time it’s opened. They sent a replacement cap and that also leaks. The neck also stains if you drink anything other than water (e.g squash), and the two neck components regularly screw off together which is very annoying. They sent a rather condescending response about ‘how to hold the neck in place’, as an adult with common sense I understand this, however having two components where you need to screw/ unscrew will always create this issue. Really disappointed about this, we have 4 series 1 bottles and no issues with these. The series 2 is a poor design, over-engineered and I will not be purchasing again.
