I am really disappointed with the products of your company. Firstly: I bought a C9 5 Day Automatic and it crashed the pedestal with friction, after 3 months of warranty the result I got was that the pedestal seemed to be polished but still there. Can see the friction with the naked eye. Second: I ordered a string in your company's last sale. The price is around £ 15 (I can not remember the price). When I received the wire I checked the quality was not as expected. The skin of the two small loops is peeling off, looking like cheap goods floating goods. I honestly share with you that I have used the Omega, IWC and Zenith clocks, the quality of the clocks in price with the C9, but the quality is very good and not bugs. I have attached pictures so that you can easily imagine what I said above. Watches for me is a passion, but passion must also be valuable, not get back up the discomfort when using. That is what I want to share, you can contact me by email: thu.tn@toyota.binhduong.vn. Thanks for reading.

I have received my CW Jump Hour watch, an excellent piece of watchmaking. However, I paid 28GBPounds to have the watch engraved with my name and, for the life of me, I cannot see where the engraving is. The name Christopher Ward appears, three times on the watch (Face, Rotor and Watch band clasp), but not my name, the name I PAID FOR. On the back it reads "C14OAJH1-0129, Swiss Made, 2-Steel 3ATM". Am I missing something here, or is this just poor quality control? Please advise. Have I paid 28 pounds for nothing? Timoshenko Aslanides, 0003647716

Over 6 weeks to receive a watch back from a service & new strap fitting isn't acceptable. I appreciate delays can happen, in which case a simple notification of the delay and updates would've been appreciated. Instead I had to repeatedly send emails to get some idea of a return date, not all of which were answered, and when I did get a response, I was told the watch would be sent 2 weeks ago. When it didn't arrive I again had to make enquiries only to find out it would be with me today. This has been a frustrating and disappointing experience, especially as I had always championed the level of customer service provided by CW.

Pros - Love the watch, it was a gift so my cons explains the two stars. Cons- The customer service and delivery was very disappointing, watch took nearly a month to arrive as they didn't have the watch strap. I only found out after I chased CW as the watch hadn't turned up, no apology. They have carried on advertising the watch with the unavailable strap. They shouldn't advertise products if they cannot deliver. Eventually they dispatched the watch with the wrong strap and now nearly three months late the right strap has arrived. Disappointing Service, ring them and check products are in stock, don't believe the website.

Malvern C5 automatic. Had a fault, automatic function had ceased to operate. A couple of parts had worn out and needed replacing - happy with that (£30). However, I was told that to ensure that the watch now kept good time I was expected to pay for a full watch service despite it having been serviced only 2 years ago (£99, a 33% increase in 2 years). If the watch is maintained as expected by CW I do not expect to pay extra for additional servicing on top of the regular service. Poor service and poor quality for a company that stresses the quality of their watches, the standards of their watches and the personal service provided. I would not recommend CW to anyone following the sub-standard customer service provided.

My movement warranty was still valid when I sent my watch in for repairs. By the time CW got to repairing the warranty was expired. I was charged for the repair (Scott Callaway keeps claiming it was maintenance). He never explained to me why the warranty did not apply. He kept on repeating that it was outside the warranty (whatever that means). He was also very slow in responding to my emails - days would go by between correspondence. I am very disappointed in your service. I have recommended CW watches to many of my friends and family over the last 7 years. at least three of those that I spoke to ended up buying a watch. That is at an end. I own 2 CW watches but I don't plan on sending of them back to the UK if I need them repaired or maintained. When you have a warranty - honor it. If you can't explain yourself. Scott Callaway failed on both accounts. Mark A. Kohut

First of all I wanted to clarify that I am a huge fan of the design & quality of the CW brand. I have received many compliments when wearing the watch out (I own an legacy logo Trident and a C9-5 Day Automatic). However, this time I ordered few watch straps, the estimation in my order confirmation claims I should expect it on July 14th (order placed on July 3rd), but I still have not received the item even today (EOD July 18th). I checked the order status in my CW account and it shows "complete," but the shipping tracker shows it is still in progress, which the difference confuses me. I planned on giving it a couple more days, but since I received an customer satisfaction email asking about my experience. Here it is. My advice for the future is to make sure the item is delivered prior sending the review email and please make sure the company's system is in sync with the delivery service, because as of right now my order is sitting in New York JFK, which is not "complete".

Took four weeks from sending my watch to CW to having it returned with a replacement battery. Surprised something so trivial would take so long. A high street shop I tried before sending to CW had never heard of the brand. So only choice for new battery was to send to CW.

I feel confident I will be happy with the product. However, the speed of shipping is a bit surprising as I haven't received the product yet and I ordered on July 3, 2017. I realize shipping to US would take longer, but I did not expect this amount of time. Based on the communication, it appears the item was not actually mailed until July 10th.

Update: I ordered 2 straps on the 4th of July in the sale period. I bought 2 watches from Christopher Ward before and the quality and service was pretty good, only the time to dispatch could take long. However, now I do need to share a pretty bad experience with the order of two straps. When I recieved the dispatch notification, I noticed there was a different address on it than the right one i gave with the order (the right address was actually in the order confirmation, the default shipping address in my account and the one i gave with the order). When I noted Christopher Ward of this problem, I was told that the package would be sent back to Christopher Ward and then again to the right address with express mail. All good. However, two days later and I noticed that didn't happen. I contacted Christopher Ward two times, and only after I saw the package was delivered at the wrong address. I was contacted again. Then I was told there was going to be a new package send to me with express mail. Well now I got a mail it has been send, and its been sent to the same wrong address again. I explained to the customer service what the right address and the problem was about 5 times, and in the end it still wasn't right. By quickly replying to the dispatch mail Christopher Ward was still be able to send it to the right address. When I finally got the straps, I notices one of them was the wrong size. So I contacted CW again, and the strap was sent again. Finally the right strap came, although the straight/curved spring bars were mixed up. In the end I got my straps (about a month later), but it seems like there is seriously something wrong with processing orders.

It took almost 4 business days to ship, also when I contacted them for some info, never received an answer from customer service. I still haven't received the product yet, I'm pretty sure I'll be satisfied with the actual prosuct but not sure about their service.

I have the C8 hardly used, as well as several others but the C8 misted up. This was on a business trip meaning I needed to buy a cheap replacement. It went for repairs lasting months which was tested and sent back. It did not work and was sent back again repaired, tested and returned. NOT the best advertisement for customer service or quality control. I had asked for a like for like replacement but denied.

Having purchased a replacement strap for £85 (for my C9), that gave all indications that it was the correct fit, it seems that it was too narrow for the watch lugs. Therefore excessive strain was put on the pin springs, causing them to bow, and detach from the watch thereby allowing it to fall from my wrist on two occasions. I caught it once, and it fell to carpet on the second occasion - very lucky. The watch had been purchased, after much deliberation, as a 50th Birthday present from my wife and so it's very precious to me. Whilst I love the watch I am now too scared to wear it for fear of losing it permanently, or damaging it due to it falling to the floor - so I do not wear it. I had considered buying a Chris Ward Dive Watch in addition to the C9 - but as a result of this experience I will now look elsewhere. Incidentally, the once pristine, and expensive presentation box, was returned to me like it had been kicked around the office. I wanted to support a UK watch manufacturer, but I cannot recommend.

Sent watch back for repair (2nd time) in 3 years. Was told would take 6-8 weeks. 9 weeks later still waiting have chased 3 times. Service used to be good not now. As with most companies keen when selling you something not so keen when you wanted something sorted!

I have two Christopher Ward watches - they are both very attractive and I want to be an advocate ...however.. problems with my first watch continues after buying a second watch so too late to change my mind but as I say love the design and i BOUGHT into the branding .....but my first watch has now had 7 ? batteries in as many years and has had to be returned for some replacement with its operation ....I will say i have had monies re-credited towards the latest batteries circa £22 I have so far written to the Company and to Mr Ward in person on at least three occasions but thus far have not had the courtesy of a reply - not even a "get lost" all i was doing was asking if there was something wrong - should the watch have needed so may replacement batteries in this time This saga has been going on for several months and after talking to friends reluctantly in frustration have now taken their advice as it has disappointed me ................
