"**Caution When Booking Repairs Through ClickMechanic**

I strongly advise exercising caution when booking vehicle repairs through ClickMechanic. Based on my experience, this company provides no meaningful support, even when presented with substantial evidence, and consistently shifts blame onto the technician. This reflects a concerning lack of competence in their vetting process.

I booked my vehicle repair through ClickMechanic to replace glow plugs. They assigned a technician named Paddy Dempsey, trading as Dempire Motors (as documented in the attached photos and videos), drive a BMW as shown. Unfortunately, the technician’s negligent work caused significant distress and over £1,000 in additional expenses. Neither Paddy Dempsey nor ClickMechanic offered any support, and my requests for assistance were met with dismissive and insulting responses.

No professional technician should resort to striking a glow plug with a hammer, as this careless action resulted in a broken glow plug. Consequently, the engine now requires stripping, and specialized equipment is needed to remove the damaged component at my own expense.

Despite reaching out to ClickMechanic’s founders on LinkedIn, no support was provided. I was left to bear the financial burden, including hundreds of pounds in car rental costs and approximately £1,000 for repairs to fix the damage caused by Paddy Dempsey.

I have substantial evidence indicating that ClickMechanic prioritizes their suppliers over customers. I urge everyone to exercise extreme caution when booking vehicle repairs through ClickMechanic or engaging with Paddy Dempsey, trading as Dempire Motors."

"Wish I could give a zero star. ClickMechanic did nothing but took commission fees from mechanics and customer. When there’s an argument between you and mechanic, they don’t give a f. I spent £60 for 2 mins car inspection and mechanics can’t even say what the issue was, clickmechanic just left my case in resolution centre and not respond any more. They don’t even vet the mechanic, so you would expect all types of mechanics with varied skills. Booked for diagnosis inspection, the mechanic was later for two hours, no phone call no text, the mechanics said he didn’t receive any booking confirmation from ClickMechanic, I’ve been waiting for two hours for nothing. Then mechanic asked me to change the time, next morning he showed up and did two minutes testing with device, said no issue with my car. The car alarm still went off, he told me it’s the issue with the sensor, I can buy some rubber washer from Amazon and put it on the edge of the door, then he charged me for £60 and left. Does this sound like professional advice? It will easily come off when I shut the door. I complained on ClickMechanic, then he phoned me twice and asked me to close the case because he couldn’t accept any job. He told me he will get quote from the dealer to replace the sensor, then no response after couple of weeks. I messaged on ClickMechanic again he finally replied saying it’s the issue with software, I need to go to the main dealer. What is all this about? Why do I need to pay someone to guess the problem with my car? I can just google it and it’s free. At this point click mechanics had zero involvement. Shame on you! Asked for refund but clickmechanic said all mechanic are independent, but they allocated me with this mechanic, I don’t even know who they are, are they legit? These overrated reviews are all fake. UPDATE: ClickMechanic manager finally messaged and said mechanic is allowed to guess, they did nothing wrong. If you want to please your mechanic rather than customers, I don’t mind! Anybody who wants to use this website BE AWARE they’re not on your side, and 2 mins detection cost you £60 for doing nothing, you will still don’t know what the cause is!!!"
