“He was 30 min late to pick up some foreign passengers. When I called him to see where he was I could not understand much due to the low quality of speaker. He did not want to listen .”

“Awful. As per previous review, I would select a negative rating if an option. Ordered a taxi to pick me up, a single lady, from a train station. They called when the car was due to be told “no car available, OK?” NOT ok obviously, no apology nor concern. Will never use again.”

“Would have given this negative stars if I could. I decided to book taxi on Saturday at 6:30pm. Calling them to check where the car is, they kept saying 15 minutes. An hour later I called again and they said the car hasn’t even left yet. I decided to get in another taxi and he even said “they are a scam don’t ever trust Clocktower”. I called again to discuss a refund and was told to “shut up” and this man laughed. I have never been so angry - don’t trust this company EVER. not even worth the “cheaper prices” as they never ever come anyways. Disgusting behaviour. So shameful and should be closed down immediately.”

“If I could leave zero I would. Monday morning. Advance booking and the guy never turned up. Finally after 8 min I call and they tell me he is on way but will be 10/15 min later… What is the point of booking in advance? Unacceptable”

“Booked taxi online well in advance to be picked up at 8:30, at 8:15 (as we are already waiting) they called to say that they cancelled the taxi as they no longer have someone to collect us even though my confirmation email said booking had been confirmed and someone was on their way? Will not be using this company again, and would not recommend to anyone else especially after reading other negative reviews. Poor customer service. When responded to on google they said they couldnt find me on the system despite me being in reciept of a confirmation email so I contacted them on Facebook messanger with my details as requested as there was no other means of contacted. They then read my messages and ignored them. Worst company I think ive ever used (not just a taxi company) AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!”

“3rd time I tried to book. 1st time driver called 20 mins late to say he was late. CANCELLED 2nd time got a text 10 mins late, driver broke down. Really? CANCELLED 3rd time driver called 15 mins after pick up time to say he will be another 20 mins. CANCELLED The worst taxi company ever! 1 star is too generous. You have been warned”

“Have used this company before with good results but let down last night by no show pick up at 10'45pm from Effingham. Confirmed by email as 10.45pm but when we emerged at that time no car. When rang to check was told driver was there at 10.17 but as I did not answer the phone (during a recital!!) he cancelled the booking at 10.29 and drove off. DISGUSTING SERVICE AND APP DELETED!!”

“Shout out to taxi driver mohammad from the godalming branch for now not making me use these taxis ever again. Was rude and obnoxious, needed a return fair which I didn’t get told till 30 seconds away from my destination that he couldn’t do it due to another trip he needed to do. Then proceeded to say he would but to be quick getting my daughter from nursery then told me to get my son out of the car (who’s 4 months in a car seat) and drove off!!! Disgusting. And considering the weather is bitter at the moment shame on you!!”

“Do not use - booked 2 taxis to take us to a wedding in back and told the booking was confirmed, with confirmations sent by text. An hour before pickup time informed that no taxis were available so they could not fulfil my booking. How do you run an efficient taxi service like this. DO NOT USE.”

“Absolute disaster. Left out in the freezing cold for 30 minutes been fobbed of that taxi was on way. Would rather walk than ever use again. Not the first time this has happened but definitely the last. Crowd of shits.”

“We pre-booked a taxi well in advance for time critical theatre show - so needed a car from Epsom to Dorking. Taxi didn’t arrive on time so I called to enquire. Was told car was en route. Waited outside in the cold for a further 10 minutes. I called Clocktower again - to be told the same - car was on the way. Yet again, no car arrived. This repeated for the next 25 mins - with zero apology from Clocktower Cars. Car did not arrive and as a result we missed the show. Extremely poor service, rude attitude from staff - will definitely not use them again. Will strongly advise others to steer clear!”

“I booked a ride through their app and the driver didn't turn up. I booked it a day ahead as well and when I called them up, they kept saying another 15 minutes. As a result, my son was picked up late from school and I had to pay charges. Also they took my money when the ride had not taken place. I don't think I had a refund yet. They were not even apologetic.”
