Stove never worked properly. Customer service was awesome but could not resolve issues. Ordered another HP50 instead. Scraped the Alpine stove.

Well, it started out great. I got a call and the person acted like he cared. I explained the problem. When my stove is on # 1 it turns it’s self off, for some reason. He told me he would ask his techs to see if there is a way to stop it and told me he would call me back. It’s been 3 weeks and I have not heard back. Kinda sucks. Still trying to figure out why the stove is doing that.

they still haven’t helped me. first sent used wrong part, next sent defective right part. Then asked for help to verify issue and order a operational panel. They won’t call, just text. In middle of text conversation, they stopped communicating. Have tried reaching back out to them and no help.

I Purchased two pellet stoves and my pellet stove insert has given me nothing but trouble. I had to hire someone to do the warranty repairs. I had to fight with Comfortbilt to get reimbursed for the labor. Glen was friendly and worked with me to get everything resolved but Mr Gordon told me on the phone that I wasn’t getting another penny, or any more free parts.this was very rude and disrespectful and reflected very badly on the company

had a hopper fire after running the brand-new stove for 6 weeks, and they basically said your stuck with it because the 30-day warranty was up. And was told to watch youtube because that answers all your questions my foot it does..... the biggest paperweight I've ever purchased. would not recommend them.

The ash vacuum canister was severely bent and would not seal property with the motor assembly.

Not very happy that my pellet stove was recalled and the replacement cost me $650 dollars. The salesman didn't care and just said he will send me a refund and not a replacement. I will choose better next time.

I've had to replace the pot every year or so there's been no improvement in the pots from year to year they always Crack in the same place in the same way. I do not think anything has been done to improve this problem. Comfortable has been good about sending a replacement, but when my warranty runs out I think I will be left with the problem. I've had different problems with this stove since have owned it every year. Comfortable has been good about helping me getting the problems figured out.

DO NOT BUY, DESIGN FLAW. We bought our HP61 about 10 months ago. It is too loud, (63db at 10 feet away)!!! I inquired with comfort built and did not get an answer. Here is the flaw. The fan is not directly attached to its housing. During highspeed fan use it vibrates against the housing/duct creating a 63db noise. The short-term fix is to brace the fan motor with a stick against the fresh air intake pipe. The permanent fix is to remove the fan and line all mating surfaces with the silicon gasket material. You need to buy gasket material for the cleanout covers so buy some extra gasket material for the fan. With this fix we love the stove. It PO's me to not get an answer from comfortbilt, and to have to troubleshoot and fix the problem myself. Some of the reviews mentioned the excessive noise so this is not a one-of-a-kind problem. No help from comfort built. If you fix the noise problem and communication with comfortbilt, then buy the pellet stove. It's great! We love the stove after making the necessary modifications. Comfortbilt needs a kick in the tookus. Hopefully this review will do it.
