I am trying to add an additional driver to my policy. I tried to do so on line but was unable to - so went to online chat. In advance I filled in the requisite details ( so this would assist your agent who answered the call) After a short wait ( maybe 5-10 mins) your agent Jacob introduced h8mself to the chat. I explained what I was trying to do - his resp9nse was to try & supsell me additional breakdown products & "exceptional deals" - I reminded Jacob that I simply wanted to add another driver and don't want to take up any of his "exceptional deals". He responded by telling me that the underwriter has refused to add the additional driver & that I should take out a new policy if I wished to add another driver. A very disappointing & frustrating experience.

I couldn’t login did the live chat I was informed Problem solved! Still can’t login! Each time I do what it say on screen Page not found is the reply. Useless!!!!

Very poor service - firstly and foremost, the portal didn't work when all I wanted to do was change my address. After trying this, there was also no helpline to assist with a simple enquiry to change my address. The chat function took a very long time to sort a simple issue. The staff member made an error with the new address and this meant I had to logon again and it had to be done again with another staff member. It took over an hour to sort a simple change of address, that should been sorted in 5 minutes. All this palaver could have been avoided with a simple telephone helpline. I submitted an anonymous review and they still called me to discuss when I had not given consent. Very poor service from One Call.

Awful service from One Call. Sending a letter with no notice to say that my car insurance was to be cancelled on this day. Then when I get in contact, its a mistake and they have the info they need. Terrible communication!

This is a true story. I've been using One Call Insurance for years and have never had a problem until now. I got my usual renewal notice in April saying the charge would be £122.90, the same as in the previous year. Fine, I let it auto-renew. Today I looked at my credit card statement and see they billed me £437.58 instead of the £122.90 detailed on the renewal letter. So I tried to reach One Call by telephone. IMPOSSIBLE! Why are they called One Call when you can’t even get one phone call through on the phone? Their useless website insists I have to use their web portal to chat. OK, so I go there and log in. THE CHAT DOESN'T WORK! Finally, I phoned claims since that's the only phone number I could find that works. The rude fella there told me he couldn't speak to me about billing so I asked for a phone number for billing. He gave me a phone number which clicks off (hangs up) as soon as you ring it. I was completely at my wit's end with this useless organisation. I finally found a (well-hidden) number and a human after an hour and a half of searching everywhere, and after explaining myself until I was blue in the face, I was told that in April they had accidentally sent me the prior year’s renewal letter (for £122.90) instead of this year’s renewal letter (for £437.58). I said, “That’s an insane increase!” He said the best they could do was £329. That’s still a 167% increase over last year. And why didn’t they charge me “the best they could do” of £329 when they charged my credit card on file instead of £437.58? Shouldn’t a broker working for me always get me the best price available? After all, I’m the one paying their fee! It’s like dealing with Virgin Media – customer service hell. So I took a chance and cancelled useless One Call Insurance and used CompareTheMarket.com to find a better option and found the same coverage for £97.43 a year from a broker called Homeprotect.co.uk with AXA as the actual underwriter. So thank you for screwing up so massively, One Call. Thanks to your screw-up, I found someone massively less expensive to provide better cover from a well-known insurer (AXA) instead of the bucket shop underwriter One Call tried to sign me up with. If I were you, I wouldn’t do business with One Call - you will pull your hair out trying to get any kind of help or even a human on the phone, and they won’t give you their best rate without haggling. Even then it will be much higher than you can get elsewhere. Who needs that? No call to One Call is the best call. 0/5 stars.

Nothing wrong whatsoever with JW5, who was responding to me. All I wanted was to change my insurance to a new car. The corresponding with JW5 was approximately 50 minutes, plus the time I had to wait in the queue, I was number 15. So, all in all about 65 minutes of my day!! By telephone this used to take 10/15 minutes. Please explain the logic?

If you have ever tried to call one call insurance via their "live chat"you will understand the frustration, I had a message saying my policy was about to be cancelled, for what reason I have no idea and to this day still don't know as I can't get to speak with one call so have taken a policy out with budget insurance Twice I was on hold with the live chat function and both times never got lower than 22 in the queue. Apparently I can raise a complaint BY POST...really!

Shocking chaotic co. They assume because you had a policy previously (since expired, replaced) months ago you remember documents are sent to you in a drip feed (not all same day/time), so when viewing all documents the obvious an insurance schedule is missing. The links to sign in and phone numbers to call take you round in circles. Finding how to claim and where is equally hidden. Best stay well clear.

Had an accident march 2023 despite numerous attempts to contact one call the accident damage was still not completed when we had to scrap the car in dec of the same year now the are taking me to court because I didn’t pay when I came to renew the policy although again I tried to contact them to cancel as far as I’m they have breached the contract we had and have taken money for a service I didn’t have would not recommend them to anyone

£ 15 fine and a summons for late payment to a pensioner is not very considerate. Sometimes circumstances create siutuations that mean there is not a fast response. One word comes to mind GREED !!
