“I have yet to try most of the products ordered, but on first inspection, they seem to be top quality meat. The bones will be used to make home made beef broth, which I am looking forward to, as it is really difficult to find good quality, organic bones. The chicken livers are going to be turned into an Italian delicacy as a starter on hot toasted bread, again I am really looking forward to this. Packaging was excellent, everything was kept cooled in the box. I will follow up with a review of the meat and bones once they've been used, but it is looking very good from the word go!”

“Very good product, quick delivery. However I didn't get the 10% discount off my first order as promised by the pop up on the webpage. I did write a comment about this but never heard back from anyone about it. Slightly disappointing.”

“The box arrived incredibly well packed (though delivered to the wrong place, we didn't get it for 24h and I was anxious the meat would be ruined, thankfully the packing saved our bacon!!) The meat we've eaten so far includes a whole chicken and some pork liver, both have been absolutely beautiful. Can't wait to try the rest of the stuff! For me, the real added bonus is the beef bone broth that I've been trying to eat more of. The one I've had from Combe is just beautiful and a perfect supplement to anything I can make at home. Friendly team in the office, very helpful. Over all, I absolutely recommend them!”

“I was impressed with the packaging which I will recycle and have kept the icepacks in my freezer to use in my coolbox for picnics, so no waste there! I have used the organic chicken livers, which although very expensive for the pack quantity, were delicious. The meat bones and chicken carcasses are yet to be boiled up for healing bone broths, just getting certain family celebrations out of the way, before embarking on detox and special healing diet. I will be ordering a lot more bones and meat for healthy heart warming food as the colder months descend upon us. Looking forward to getting my Lamb Neck in the casserole too.... The recipes on your website are very helpful Thank You.... from a new but to be continued, happy customer.”

“So far I have tried the Gluten Free Sausages , Beef Strips , Chicken Broth and Beef Broth. I was very disappointed with the Sausages because of the size and texture, and the Beef Strips were very tough. The Chicken Broth was a small portion but good and taste , but the Beef Broth was a small portion but excellent in taste.”

“The loin of pork I cooked for lunch was delicious, with a good layer of fat under the skin. It was very well packed and arrived promptly. However, I would have liked the joint chined, to make carving easier. I shall buy again. Mrs Janet Collins”

“I would have given this review 5 stars but for the ridiculous packaging! I understand the need to keep the produce frozen and in good condition but my very small order of 3 items came in a huge box and was very heavy. The produce is amazing and very, very tasty!!!”

Hi Richard Thank you for your review. At Coombe Farm Organic we make a lot of effort to be sustainable. It took us a while to find the right packaging and the one we're using is the best solution for us as we didn't want to use non recyclable polystyrene. For our boxes we use recycle card board as well as sheep wool together with reusable ice packs for the insulation. You can reuse the wool for filling cushions, growing seedlings or even for birds nesting - just hang it on your washing line, it'll be gone within no time. Also the ice packs are reusable - they keep the temperature for a very long time and are perfect for your picknick outdoors - just pop them in your freezer for around 2 hours. For our deliveries all around the UK we use an already existing delivery service to keep the carbon footprint as small as possible. “Very, very nice bone broth. Not over salty just perfect. I have this as a drink & I'm hoping it will help me protein wise and also to help heal my gut. I'm on to my second order now so that speaks for itself. Would like to try the chicken at some point in the future as the pictures really do make it look ever so appetising!!”
