“As usual, this is the third bag that I use and the third time it comes short in weight. The quality of the meat is superb as usual, though, I have sent an email with photos of these bags on the scale, explaining that being their most expensive product on the website I would expect to have it at the weight that I pay it for. I haven't heard back from Coombe yet, but surprisingly I have received the invitation to make a review. I start to think that I will stop this subscription of chicken and I would start buying elsewhere...”

“Pork I was sent was not as the photo in the catalogue. When I raised this I was told: "We can't get every photo right." It was packed excellently but just wasn't the meat I had ordered. They offered to replace it but because I needed the pork for Christmas, which was fast approaching and because I felt I couldn't trust them a second time, my husband and I ended up driving a 90-mile round trip to collect meat we could look at before accepting. It's still in the freezer so can't yet tell you what it cooks and tastes like. If it isn't satisfactory I will review again. Mrs E, London and Wiltshire.”

“was very disappointed to find, when I opened the package as soon as it arrived, that despite all the ice packs the lamb burgers had thawed out. This was inconvenient, as they had then to be cooked immediately. and used that day, rather than the meatball recipe I had planned.”

“disappointed by the delivery and the fact that having specified explicitly TWICE (both with my order and with the delivery company directly) where they should leave the box when I was out they still managed to leave it somewhere else. I am a busy professional and don't want to have to negotiate when my neighbours are in. when i complained via email i received a phone call which i couldn't take as i was in meetings and dont have the time or capacity to call back so don't think i will be using again.”

“One of the sachets was cut , obviously I wouldn't know while frozen but when it defrosted the contents spiller out !”
