“All items in October meat box was great except for sandwich steak which was extremely dry and tough. Had to bin it. Also the beef top side after defrosting wasn’t partly good. There was discoloration. Part fresh, partly not so fresh.”

“The rack of lamb was good but the boned half shoulder was disappointing. It was roasted carefully to medium (72°) but it was nothing like as tender as the lamb we buy for less from our local butcher. The 'leftover' however made a tasty Shepherd's Pie.”

“The Low FODMAP bone broths are to die for, and the organic bones brew up beautifully. If only the carrier would ring the doorbell! I book morning slots, and include begging requests, but they just leave the package on the doorstep in full sun. I would order much more often if only the carrier would RING THE DOORBELL. I have spoken on the phone to you about this before; please make my point to the carrier. Four packs of bone broth were partially defrosted and had to be used at once.”

“Excellent packaging everything arrived frozen, fish is quite fresh. Only salmon was a bit older than i wanted most of the fish was frozen 2 months prior which is great; salmon was great to taste but was frozen 3 months before hence there was a fishy smell.”

“The chicken bone broth is amazing. I wish I could say the same for the other items I bought. I didn't enjoy the bacon. It actually tasted a bit off and I threw the rest away. The turkey mince is good, but very, very expensive. I know it is impossible to do any other when you buy food online, but the amount of packaging needed to transport the items through the post really does put me off ordering again. If only I lived closer.”

“Ordering process and the steak all fine as per myself or my family. Only thing is the delivery company didn’t update the delivery info appropriate as the photo they sent to me after the box being delivered was not my family house door photo at all and that box in the wrong photo (the ink on the box seems fake out too, maybe due to the ice packs and made it wet?) So I think this is something should revise in a better way. Thanks”

“Love your produce when good but twice the sausages h ave been inedibley salty. They even ruined Christmas dinner one year. I do like to be able to eat sausage and bacon that is free from nasty additives that I am allergic to.So thank you.”

“Lovely, recyclable packaging and the chorizo was fantastic but the smoked bacon, whilst having a good mouthfeel, was tasteless (smelled good though). The chipolatas were a real disappointment and cooked up to a gooey mush. I often find that with gluten free chipolatas and too much rice flour. Cut them into tiny pieces and fry them until crispy and add to a tomato sauce. Not looking forward to the Cumberland sausages.”

“Hi there, I dont normally ever review, but in this case as you've asked, I thought I'd do one. The RDB was really poor and nowhere near the £12.50 asking price for just under 8oz. I did one with a normal sear in a pan, and one as a reverse sear. Both were so underwhelming. The chicken and the chorizo were good, but I get a regular supply of free range chicken anyway for less. I havent tried the pork yet. Sorry it's not glowing, as I really really wanted it to blow me away. Thanks Gavin”

“I ordered a steak box. The meat had a really good flavour but sadly the steaks were rather tough. Also they were not a similar cut, the chuck steaks were one thick and one much thinner.”

“Lovelty products, prompt service. My heart sank when I saw the masses of plastic freezer packs; as an organic brand I'd anticipated an alternative. I'm unlikely to reorder which Im really disappointed about.”

“Our delivery was quite late in the day and In spite of lots of freezer packs (no info about whether these can be returned or recycled) some of the products had defrosted, therefore, we had to cook them within a day or two which was not what I had planned. The products themselves were delicious.”
