“Have had great service up until this summer when the frozen produce started arriving defrosted likely due to the heat. Although the company are very apologetic and refunded me for the wasted produce there doesn’t seem to be a plan to ensure this doesn’t happen again as it happened 3 times and I now don’t feel confident to order again which is a shame as I love the organic chicken breasts in particular. I ordered from Coombe as I have to cook directly from frozen due to histamine intolerance. Another company I use to order frozen fish use dry ice and this works really well. I hope this situation can be resolved”

“The delivery was defrosting on my doorstep so unfortunately, we have had to eat it quite quickly as it couldn't be refrozen. (Donald Russel boxes never defrost) The meat was fine apart from the sausages. Whoever put the pepper in must have slipped! Inedible and wasted. I won't bother ordering again, sorry.”

“Love your products for sure. Especially the bones I use to make broth. The only downfall is that on two or three occasions the produce has arrived completely defrosted. Cold enough to still eat but not to re-freeze. This is disappointing as I then have to use the items all at once, where as I would have wanted to freeze them and use at my convenience.”

“Well I expected a lot but having been locked down in Portugal with real chickens and proper food we did wonder. The chicken was simply tasteless and tough by comparison.”

“Very good quality but when the produce arrived, it had started to defrost. This also happened on my last order but I haven't mentioned it. Whilst I was able to put it into the freezer because it hadn't completely defrosted, I am hoping it will be ok. This concerns me for future orders.”

“The quality of pheasant breasts generally high. However few times now the amount of shot in the meat astounded me- in one pack there where 12 pieces of shot!!!”

“I want to be supportive of quality meat so my review of that is 5 star. However the individual packaging of products was not 5 star as I would have expected for the cost, for example broken trays wrapped in cling film and sausages squished and therefore no longer sausage shaped. Might sound pedantic but this is a premium product so wouldn’t expect to have received the £150 order in anything less than a 5 star state”

“Good quality meat and nice to buy from a sustainable and UK source. Expensive though not sure you could regularly feed a family on the prices, more for special occasions”
