If I could give this company a BIG FAT ZERO I would most definitely do so.... their return policy is VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE to navigate and -- even tho they're not open on the weekends they count those days as well... My dress was > $700 and was still in its original packaging with tags still on but bcuz I was tecnically 18hrs. overdue in shipping it back that refused to credit me the money back!!!! I believe that felt they were being magnanimous by offering a 10% rebate ----- a measly $75 on a $750 dress!!!! Absurd. I have contacted the BBB to report their ridiculous return policy and will continue to write reviews any/everywhere I can

If I could give this company a 0+++ I would do so — having spent > $700 on a dress for my daughter’s wedding I attempted to return said dress. Not only is their return policy VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE to follow, they look for ANYTHING to not return your $$$. I was LESS THAN 24hrs. “tardy” in them receiving the dress, offered to incur a 20% penalty, and they STILL DENIED MY RETURN…. I am an RN Travel Nurse who was out of town when the dress arrived and communicated with them EVERY SINGLE STEP OF THE WAY. After sending the dress back to me today they offered me $70 to “make things right” — seriously???? So much for honoring our health care providers, right???? RUN, RUN, RUN away from purchasing with this company

This company lies about return policies. I purchased a dress and nowhere on the website did it say final sale! Purchasing an expensive dress that is not returnable makes absolutely no sense. The dress a Mac Duggal cocktail dress. I purchased a size 18. The top was huge, and the seamstress said this dress is not made right and does not fit properly. When tried to exchange or get a refund they lied and said it was a final sale.

I previously gave this company 1 star. At this point if I could give them no stars I would. It’s been over a month. No dress, no refund. I called several times. I keep getting the run around. Buyer beware!!!

⚠️ Zero stars — absolutely unacceptable experience ‼️ I ordered a dress that was advertised as new, but what I received was defective and completely unwearable. The company was initially apologetic while waiting for the return, which I shipped back promptly. However, after receiving it, they waited nearly four months before changing their position, offering only 50% store credit instead of a proper full refund back to my original form of payment. This is misleading and unethical. Selling damaged or defective items as “new” is deceptive, and this kind of behavior erodes consumer trust. There are federal laws in place to protect customers from practices like this, yet the company seems more interested in taking advantage of buyers than doing the right thing. I’ve submitted a formal complaint to the Better Business Bureau and will continue to share my experience publicly to help others avoid falling into the same situation. I strongly advise anyone considering purchasing from this company to proceed with extreme caution. ⚠️

Horrible experience!!!!! RETURNS HAVE TO BE PAID BY CUSTOMERS AMD ONLY CREDIT GIVEN. This dress was purchased for my daughter’s bridal shower. The make and quality of the fabric was horrible for the price. When I tried to return, I had to be a $40 return fee. ALL RETURNS ARE are done as a credit and not returned in its original form of payment. I was not very happy with the purchase and I will not be purchasing from this site in the future.

Dress has nothing compare to how it’s looks in your website, bust area it’s see through, my friend has the exact same dress from mac Duggal and fabric is completely different , I’m returning for sure

I ordered several dresses to try, not realizing how impossible they are with their return process. They did not give a refund for 3 dresses I tried on and I immediately returned. They only provided a temporary in-store credit for a future purchase. I already purchased 2 dresses from them. I will not order from them again.

I’ve previously had fantastic experiences with Couture Candy, which makes this situation all the more disappointing. I paid extra—$32–$35—for expedited three-day shipping because I needed the dress by a specific date. My order was placed on 6/14. It’s now 6/21, and not only has it not arrived, but UPS also confirmed they haven’t even received the item. When I called for an update, I was told it was processed and ready to ship—yet there has been zero movement. If expedited shipping isn’t actually an option, it should not be offered at checkout. This dress was meant for a wedding. I had to scramble for an alternative, and now I’m left with a $500 item I can’t use. This isn’t just inconvenient—it’s a letdown from a company I used to trust.

Unfortunately I had a very negative experience with Couture Candy. I received a dress that was defective. The material was improperly cut so the stretch of the fabric was lengthwise and not width wise. I was unaware of this until I took it to my seamstress. This isn’t something that a customer would be able to tell.The dress is extremely uncomfortable and impossible to sit in or wear. I called several times to speak to a manager and I was only allowed to speak with the call center who seemed to be reading from a script and repeating the return policy instead of addressing my concern of getting a refund or replacement dress. After several attempts to speak to a manager and emails I got a email offering $36 off my almost $400 dress if I left a 4 or 5 star review. I don’t feel like the issue of the defective dress was ever addressed.

This has been by far the worst online shopping experience I’ve ever had. My daughter’s wedding is on June 14th, and I placed my first order on April 19th, allowing ample time for any necessary adjustments. I ordered two dresses in the same size. They arrived quickly, but only one fit properly (though I didn’t like how it looked on me), and the other was too small to even try on. I emailed customer service on April 27th requesting return instructions, but received no response. I followed up with a phone call and finally received the return instructions on May 2nd. To meet your 5-day return policy, I paid $166 for next-day delivery to ensure the dresses arrived on time. I didn’t hear back until May 12th, when I was informed that the return was received and a store credit would be issued. On May 19th, I was notified the credit was available. I then placed a new order using that credit on May 23rd for a dress listed as in stock in a size 12. On May 27th, I received a call saying size 12 was not available and was offered a size 14 instead. Despite my frustration, I agreed, thinking I could have it altered. Today, May 28th, I was informed via email that size 14 is also unavailable, and my payment has been refunded—but it will take 5–7 business days to process. I’ve now spent $1,132 on the original order and an additional $166 on return shipping, and I still have no dress. Not only have I lost precious time, but because the refund was initially issued as store credit, I feel trapped into shopping with your company again, despite this being a completely unacceptable experience. I will never shop with this company again and will not recommend it to anyone. This process has been stressful and disappointing at a time that should be joyful.

I ordered a dress from here and payed extra for it to come in sooner. I then got an email saying the shipping would be pushed back by 2 weeks. That’s fine I understand sometimes things get delayed. 2 Weeks behind would not work for me though. I called to see if I can get a refund so I can find another site to order a dress in time for my event but they have yet to give me a refund. Do not order from this place if u expect to get your money back when something goes wrong.

If you buy from this company, make sure the dress fits you perfectly because they have a non-negotiable return policy that is beneficial for them and not for you at all. I bought a dress based on their measurements, and the dress did not fit me well when I called to get an EXCHANGE. On the second day of receiving the dress, I was not able to do it at all. I paid 400 bucks for this dress and now I have it in my closet, useless...

Edit-they said they’d give me a whopping 10% rebate if I changed this review to a 4-5!!! Just want to return, they all do this days of stalls and delays, offers counter offers. Scammers

Dealing with customer service was a nightmare. If you buy a product from Couture Candy, make sure you're not planning on returning it because the return policy is the most restrictive we've ever run across. Heaven help you if you need to call and talk to them about it. In our case, we ended up being forced to eat the cost of the product. It was a rather expensive, $450 lesson.

Dealing with this vendor was unbelievably frustrating. Returns were next to impossible and dealing with the so-called support staff was time consuming and difficult. If you have any reservations about doing business with a shady vendor, shop elsewhere.

So Disappointing! I’m extremely disappointed with this experience. Before placing my order, I carefully reviewed the return policy, which clearly stated that returns are not accepted but exchanges are allowed. I ordered a dress for my engagement party and chose size 4, planning to exchange it for size 2 if it didn’t fit. When the dress arrived, it was too big, so I contacted customer service to request an exchange — only to be told it was a final sale item. At no point during the order process was I informed this was a final sale. The representative told me it became a final sale because I used a $13 discount at checkout — this was never mentioned before purchase. This kind of practice feels misleading. If an item is final sale, it should be clearly labeled on the product page and in the receipt. I feel completely let down and will never order from this site again. Be careful — their policy is not as honest as it seems.

Horrible horrible experience! I ordered a gown for an upcoming gala and paid for expedited shipping. They shipped it to the wrong address and in the wrong state. I’ve been calling and emailing for four days and they still won’t give me an update on whether or not I’m getting the gown or a refund! I’ll NEVER shop this website again
