“Terrible experience. My dress came in too large. I had to spend over 30 dollars to ship it and then Couture Candy charged me 25% restocking fee. I will never shop with them again and will tell everyone I can about this terrible experience.”

“I had a very bad experience ordering dress and was not able to return it the dress does not fit runs super small and costumer service was repeating same story that dress is reduced price and not eligible for return , when I ordered the dress I have not seen the message about final sale even if it’s mistake on my end I believe it should be accommodations like a store credit etc besides there no one to talk like admin who can help to address my concerns costumer service repeats same information like robots over and over again and not willing to work with me I will never ever order a dress from candy couture and will never recommend anyone to buy a dress from them the dresses are expensive and return policy is HORRIBLE If you don’t want to lose your hard earned money do not buy from candy couture !!!!!’”

“Buyers Beware! Although this company offers a large selection of attractive dresses, the product images do not always accurately reflect the items customers receive. The dress I ordered looked beautiful online, but the product delivered was of noticeably lower quality and significantly different from what was advertised. I ordered a pink Jovani dress with a specific pattern, but instead received a multicoloured JVN by Jovani dress, which is a completely different product line. Prior to shipment, I specifically contacted the company and asked them to verify the correct dress, size, and colour because I was ordering internationally for a wedding and could not afford the time or expense of a return. They assured me that the correct item would be sent, yet they still shipped the wrong dress. As a result of their mistake, I paid $193 for the dress, $75 for shipping, and approximately $30 in import taxes. Returning the dress would cost me an additional $100 or more. Despite acknowledging that they sent the incorrect item, the company refused to provide a prepaid return label and instead insisted on enforcing their standard return policy. It is unreasonable to expect a customer to absorb these costs when the error was entirely on the company's side. By the time I return the dress, I would have spent more on shipping and taxes than the value of the dress itself. The customer service experience has been extremely disappointing and unsupportive. Rather than taking responsibility and offering a fair resolution considering the importance of the event, the company chose to rely on its return policy despite admitting its mistake. Before purchasing, I strongly encourage potential buyers to research customer feedback, including BBB complaints and online reviews. Avoid purchasing from this shop if possible as you don't have to experience what I did. This is not a reliable shop. With over BBB 87 complaints and numerous negative reviews, my experience unfortunately appears far from unique. I have made many online purchases over the years, and this has been by far the worst customer service experience I have encountered. I have attached the dress displayed on the website vs the dress I received.”

“I ordered a dress and they charged me only to later find out that the dress was out of stock. I was very frustrated that after I choose my dress so carefully was sold out. I logged in to my account and I saw that said sold out. Contacted them, they said that they will have my dress, that not to worry about it. Later I had an email saying that my dress was out of stock. They did refund my money.”

“Be very careful when ordering from couture candy. Worst experience I have ever had when ordering online. They will add a discount code on automatically, without you knowing if you are not paying close attention, which will keep you from returning and receiving a full refund according to their fine print. I will warn every mother of the bride I know and let them know of many other wonderful sites to order dresses from. Look somewhere else! I would give zero stars if possible.”

“I ordered a Jovani size 6 gown which was on sale. Size 6 fits me however this gown was too long and you need to be 5'10" to 6 feet tall. When I ordered this gown there was no mention that it is for a tall person and cannot be altered because of the style. I called the store & was informed it was not returnable. Gown was on sale but still cost me $440.00, Ill send it back & you could keep the money since I won't be able to use it”

“BEWARE - ANY DRESS THAT IS MARKED DOWN IS NOT RETURNABLE. UNFORNATURELY, I DID NOT REALIZE THAT UNTIL I TRIED TO RETURN A DRESS THAT I PURCHASED. THE WEBSITE DOES STATE THIS, BUT IT IS NOT OBVIOUS.”

“Horrible do not buy this gown. The sequins fall and glitter fall out right out of the bag! Such awful quality, worse of all I was not aware of their strict rule of no returns if it’s on sale it’s considered final sale. So now I’m stuck with a dress with glitter and sequins that fall off everywhere you walk. I’ll never purchase a dress here again!!”

“I ordered a dress for $750 and the beads fell off when she first got it. When we brought it to the tailor they continued to fall off. Half the beads are missing and now I have to buy her a new prom dress. I am completely disgusted. Do not purchase from this company!!”

“Terrible company- Very, very dishonest. Very, very dishonest company. Ordered $400 dress from them that was not on sale. Within 4 hours of having rec’d it, I attempted to return and/or exchange. They would not allow it. Seriously deceptive business practices. Not sure where the reviews come from that are on their page because nowhere can you review them on their page. so I question whether those reviews are authentic. However, if you will search them on any social media page, you will find lots and lots of people who have had the same and/or similar terrible experience. a dress & attempted within 4 hours of receiving to return or exchange. They refused to allow either. It wasn’t on sale & no where did it say it was not returnable. Deceptive business practices.”

“I haven’t received a dress, or a tracking number, or any clear answers on what happened to my order. It’s 5 days past when I purchased the dress. No manager would come to the phone to speak with me. I’m getting the run around about “shipping time and processing rimes” I paid extra $50 for expedited shipping & still nothing. No one can confirm they even gave the dress I purchased, or offering me an alternative. The whole thing has been frustrating and disappointing. I’ll never order from here again. There are low ry if other websites with similar deals. I’m beyond dissatisfied”

“These are not authentic dresses. Shipped from china. The sizing chart is way off. Very disappointed. Ordered a size 8 which has a 30 inch waist according to the Portia Scarlett chart the dress is a 26 inch waist. Called the company to do an exchange, final sale. I have bought Portia and scarlett dresses in the past and always wear a size 8. Something’s not right!!”

“Nightmare! They sent me a dress that did not have the proper color ribbon. When I sent them a photo the tried to tell light pink was silver and that it was just the lighting in their photo. I requested a return which they also refused since the dress was “on sale”. I had to go sell the dress on posh mark and took over a hundred dollar loss. Would never recommend them to anyone!”
