Ordered an LG American Fridge Freezer online and paid additional £40 installation fee as I knew the doors would need to be removed from the fridge to fit through the kitchen door. Delivery arrived at designated time however the delivery drivers were not trained to remove fridge doors, so I refused delivery and they left with the fridge. Called customer service right away and said ‘oh should have been trained installers who delivered the fridge’, lots of apologies and redelivery was scheduled for the following Saturday. So round two of delivery came today and first of all they didn’t have a fridge freezer to deliver because they were just booked in for installation, and secondly it was the same delivery drivers!! The situation was so ridiculous I had to laugh. Customer service again very apologetic, but it means nothing when you have wasted two Saturdays in a row waiting for a delivery. Safe to say I asked for a refund, didn’t want to chance a third Saturday with the same delivery drivers turning up. Quite clear this company has major communication issues between departments, the delivery drivers today told me it was the second time today it has happened. Please don’t waste your time with Currys if you want a large appliance delivered

I Have had 4 Laptops from Curry`s P.C. World in less than 2 years , 3 have been replaced and now the 4th one has had so many things done to it and still not working , had been told by the ON-LINE support time that because of everything that has been done to the laptop that I WOULD BE GIVEN A REPLACEMENT ,but after receiving an E-Mail today it looks /sounds like that is not going to happen , it has taken them 4DAYS TO CONTACT ME .if they send the old laptop back to me then i will refuse to Accept it as IT IS PURE RUBBISH,They will know who i am just by my E-MAIL .

Night a Sony bravia TV. Picture is complete rubbish over the past couple of weeks it has developed really bad vertical banding. Rang you up and was told to talk to Sony. Sony kindly offered to come and have a look but made it clear that if they thought it was ok I would be charged for the visit. Do you really not appreciate what poor service this is! Just off to talk to consumer protection.

I bought a hp da0511sa laptop from the Rhyl store.I was assured by the assistant it would suit my purposes - just family history research and photo editing- the laptop is so slow you can almost see and hear the gears moving! To cap it all I was sold an ex display item which we didn't realise until we got it home and saw the marks and scratches. It was replaced with a £30 voucher (which I've yet to receive) but the point is in the shop I was told 'oh its just been opened to check it's ok and resealed' Very poor customer service -in fact outright lies-and I've now got a new computer which is slower than my 'old' five year old one

Purchased a Logic washing machine which was faulted with a large piece of plastic in the waste pipe from manufacturing which prevented the drainage of the water. Rather than replacing it, Currys sent a repair operative from "cowboy plumbers" who wanted to cut off the pipe behind the plastic piece and then using tape and jubilee clip to attach it to my undersink waste pipe; I told him where to go. I lost a days salary in order for "cowboy plumbers" to suggest a nonesense solution. Ten days after the original delivery, Currys exchanged the washing machine. I complained to Currys and they offered £10 goodwill; obviously I refused. They did not care in the least that I had been badly inconvenienced and had lost a days salary; the two emails I received were very identical template responses. Never again.

WORST OF THE WORST DELIVERY SERVICE. Ordered American Style fridge on 25th March to be delivered on 29th march. On the delivery day the delivery guy cancelled the delivery because he said he could not fit the vehicle in the narrow road. SO the same delivery guy requested Currys to redeliver it in 3.5 ton vehicle the next day but again they redelivered in the same 7 ton vehicle not just once but 8 times till today's date 10th April. I called in each day to make sure that Currys would redeliver it in 3.5 ton Vehicle, even the Currys customer service and the manager assured me saying it will defiantly be delivered in 3.5 ton by it never did till today. THIS IS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER COME UPON

Short Review - Avoid at all costs, purchase elsewhere and save your time/money/patience Long Story - We ordered a washing machine with installation and scrapping of the old machine. What we thought would be a fairly straightforward process began with 2 consecutive days where the item just didn't show up. They let us know the first time and for the second time we had to chase them. When they actually came one of the delivery guys blatantly lied to our faces that the valve for the hot water (that was used by our old machine and needed to be switched off as the new machine didn't need it) wasn’t working and advised to call out a plumber to fix it (at our own cost). This, they told us, left them unable to install the machine as it would " flood " our flat and they simply delivered the new machine and left. Once they left I decided to check if this is true and to my surprise, the valve was working perfectly fine 5 minutes after they left! This was later confirmed by the third party plumber that came by to "fix" the valve and install the machine which we had to arrange by ourselves. I suspect they lied to us because the first delivery crew did not have it on their records that they should have picked up the old machine and looked annoyed when I showed them the receipts where we paid for the scrap since they, as they said, didn't have any space in their van. At this point we had a newly installed machine and an old machine lying around so we arranged again for them to come and pick up the old machine. I had to take a day off work just to be home for the pick up. Their email customer rep was beyond useless saying that since we've bought the item from a shop (we didn't and have said no such thing at any point) we had to talk with them... We managed to speak with the social media reps through Facebook, but even with their relatively quick responses, I found the whole experience to be terrible and have never had such a bad experience with any other item I've ever bought.

Poor poor poor!! Ordered online a fridge freezer, did not turn up when supposed to be delivered. I called customer service, they said there computer system crashed, therefore they can't check my order status. That`s ok, I get that, technical problems happen. 6 hours later called them again, they said due to the system crash, my order will be delayed, but confirmation order will be with me soon. Following day nothing, so called again. 3rd times. Same thing, keep waiting for the email. On the day, latest next day I will receive it. Following day still nothing. So called them. Again. 4th times. Bear in mind, customer service calls are not free of charge. Customer assistant was not too friendly, said my payment never arrived, it is a pending payment, need to call bank. I tried to explain, the money has been deducted from my account, but she was keep saying - not in a friendly way - payments never arrived. Ok, called the bank, obviously payment has been gone. So. Called customer service. Again. 5th times. (Average 15 minutes waiting). Guy on the phone, straight said, his colleague was wrong, they received the amount, so they will give me the refund. I said all I want is my order. Sorry, we can't do that,.was the answer.😡 Refund, which means 3-5 working days and than order it again. But just in case when I order call sales department to double check!!! they actually have it. ??? What kind of service is that. Customers need to follow up on them?? And still no fridge freezer. It is just poor. AVOID CURRYS AT ALL COSTS LADIES AND GENTLEMEN.

Very Disappointing. I bought a Hoover washing machine online. I paid for delivery, installation and disposal of old machine. The installation was extremely rushed, installer wouldn't change water hose ("why mend if not broken?") so old hose still in place. Neither would he take away old machine even though I had the paperwork to show it was paid for. It was collected from the front garden the following day. I won't recommend !!!

I ordered a fridge 30 days ago. My order is still in progress. There is not any information to tell me when it is dispatched. I can’t believe it takes such long time. I have no fridge to use for a month. I was expected it should arrive in a week. Till now I spend too much more on food.

Lying staff and terrible customer services! I missed out on a cashback offer due to a member of Currys PC World staff giving me the wrong information. I tried to resolve this issue in store and with customer services but neither were of any help and didn't sound like they cared.

I recently purchased an all in one computer from Curry's Longton Stoke on Trent. After the 21 day period my computer decided to shut down, start up, shut down, start up and on it went. Instead of sending it away they changed the computer for a new one. Now, under there retail contract they could have sent it away but they didn't, now I call that exceptional customer service and I have to say I have never had a bad experience with Curry's so well done chaps and chapes's.

Very disappointed with Curry's delivery service. Ordered a washing machine for my dad a week ago, earliest delivery 1st April, of all days. Guess what, delivery didn't happen, No phone call, No text message, waited in all day with my dad, lost a days pay, was not happy. Had to call customer service to find out what the hell was going on. Was told too late now to deliver. I rang customer service @ 8am next day and cancelled the order. Had a rant to say how disgusted I was with the service and let's say, the guy on the line went a little quiet. Then he said shall I reschedule the delivery, I replied thanks but no thanks, I can't afford to loose anymore money coz it probably won't turn up. The same day I went with my dad to the store where we ordered it and got a no quibble full refund. That's why I've given 1 star. Have now ordered another one from a different supplier. Seriously Curry's you need to read all your reviews coz you have a hell of a lot of unhappy customers, me included. SORT IT OUT.

The after sales service was appalling. The new computer malfunctioned after 5 weeks and I was advised it takes up to 4 weeks to fix. So that’s unhelpful given it was £1600 and I had bought it because the old computer broke. It apparently even took 5 days to “courier” from the workshop. I will never buy from them again - to even get through on the telephone was a nightmare.

Purchased PHILIPS 55OLED803/12 55" Smart 4K Ultra HD HDR OLED TV for £1500. 8 weeks old and been in constant contact with Philips regarding constant reverberation on bass sounds. After numerous updates and reinstalls they give in and sent 2 engineers. Set was taken apart and found to be missing 2 screws from subwoofer mount, put back together and problem still evident (whether these 2 screws needed to be there I do not know). Taken apart again and anything that was lose was taped down. Put back together and still on demo mode the problem persisted. Excuse being the demo was producing too much base. Engineers left. Richer sounds display tv on demo mode is perfect at full volume, Currys unfortunately had none on display so had to travel 12 miles to find one to look at. I now have all wiring inside with extra tape around them (is this now a fire hazard, as it wasn't needed at manufacturing stage). Had to watch tv over the weekend with problem still there so contacted Philips again who told me to contact Currys. Currys now want to take the set for a week to inspect it, which means a 2nd repair, under the consumer rights act this should not be allowed and tv should just be replaced. The tv is excellent barring this awful noise it makes. I have the repair notes from Philips engineers who state there is a problem. Yet Currys says they should have done the repair. AAAARGH. Pushed from one to the other, and still no joy. Will never use either company again due to this mess. How Currys get away with this I will never know. Will in future stick to John Lewis who in the past I have had zero problems dealing with. I do hope Philips and Currys read these reviews and act upon them as it is their reputation that is being muddied.

I should have wrote this review a year ago but here it goes.... Ordered a HP laptop just under £1000, delivery time was 3 days and I ended up waiting for 2 weeks with no sign of the laptop. Curry's use DPD, very interesting right? The way curry's dealt with this was very unprofessional and suggested that I had to wait another month in order to receive my money back .... long story short I had to get mad in order to get them to pay the money back. Utterly disgusted with the customer service and attention to customer knowing that an IDIOT of DPD (the worst delivery service) is probably enjoying the laptop. Hope this helps! Happy shopping

Whatever you do DO NOT BUY THE KNOWHOW CARE PLAN!!!!! It's rubbish and they don't honour the promises made on the plan. I sent my TV for a screen repair and came back missing the internal screw threads for wall mounting, so we couldn't hang it back on the wall. So off it went again for repair. 21 days later it was still not back, despite my husband calling the company for an update 18 times, as we never heard from them. At this point we decided to claim for a replacement product under the "14 day repair promise" guarantee. We were told on 3 separate occasions that we would receive a voucher for a replacement TV but to date still nothing. We called again today only to be told that our request was declined, as the TV has been repaired ......... but 21 days later, still no TV. I will now be seeking legal advice. Absolutely awful service and the plan is not to be trusted. Stay away from this policy, don't waste your money.

I will start by saying that I have used Currys successfully many times in the past, but my recent experience has been bad. Our new fridge-freezer was not delivered on the day it should have been; there was no phone call and by the time I realised it was not coming the phone line had closed. I rang next morning and the lady apologised for the lack of phone call, but not for the lack of delivery - the drivers had just run out of hours. She said she could rebook for the following day, in the morning, which I considered acceptable. Luckily I checked online and the delivery had not been booked that day, but for the following one, which I couldn't manage. We cancelled the order at that point and got one the next day through an online firm. We also have a separate issue with Curry's over a 5-year warranty for a washing machine which we thought we had, but which was never implemented. Another story, and hoping for a positive response. Will make sure to post a good report if I'm satisfied! To be fair, I've had good conversations with some of the KnowHow team, though some are very off-hand.

My 89 year old mother is in tears because her delivery (my Mother’s Day present to her) did not arrive as promised. I phoned up twice during the day to enquire about it and was assured the delivery was on it’s way but was running late. It was not!!!!! They didn’t even bother to make a courtesy call to explain anything, so she sat looking out of the window for 12 hours waiting for them to arrive. She is now without a TV for Mother’s Day. The phone calls to them trying to sort out their mess are costing me a fortune too. So far I have had to phone 4 times. This includes phoning back when they rescheduled for a day I had just told them was Not convenient - never once an offer to call me back so I wasn’t having to pay to sort out their error.
