I'm an international student in Durham. Every business I have dealt with has been professional and helped me when there was a problem. Curry's is the one exception. I bought a very expensive laptop 9 months ago and it has been to their repair shop twice for over ten days each time. They don't have a clear idea of how long things take. They send messages that the unit is in the store only to find out it is not in the store. There is no offer of a discount on something else or a service to make up for the terrible service. The laptop is under warranty AND I pay the monthly for the care package. I am cancelling this service and taking the laptop elsewhere for servicing. The laptop itself is not worth the money I paid for it and the company doesn't know how to treat its customers. Never again.

We ordered a dishwasher from Currys online and had to wait 8 days for installation and taking away the old dishwasher. I phoned to check what would be expected from us. Despite this the delivery man, because he didn't know how the water was connected, failed to remove the old dishwasher and the new one is now sat in the garage. He was quite rude. It will take 19 days before another delivery slot is available. I really hope it is not the same team as they had a "cannot do" attitude.

Spent over THREE hours trying to get a brand new fridge freezer that didn't work from day one uplifted & replaced. They have the cheek to say that the average wait time could exceed "5 minutes or more" ! I will NEVER buy anything from them again, I'm disgusted that they don't give a damn about their customers

Like to thank Nick Smith for his courteous and helpfulness when reporting a damaged in transit freezer , replacement to be delivered next day ! This gentleman should be acknowledged by Currys as an employee to be valued and I wish him well in all he does he deserves a pay rise at the very least !

Visited Curry's Bracknell to buy a cordless vacuum. So glad that we did. Our Assistant 13 Chintha was a pleasure to deal with. Very helpful with all information, knowledgeable too. Yes she helped us make the correct decision as we are very happy with our choice. Very good layout of store, easy parking and happy atmosphere. Thanks very much.

Bought a Logik tv and after 16 months it just died Cost £129.99 and should last longer than that. Would never buy another tv from Currys as they will not fix it Will now go to family owned business's as the customer service/care is much better Who would really buy a tv with a 16 month life!!! So angry

Bought a electric oven and hob. Electrians came unaware they had to disconnect the gas hob, although it was on the receipt. They were here most of the day and into the evening, constantly switching the electricity on and off. They eventually blew my chrome cooker switch, blaming it on a faulty switch, although it had worked perfectly before they touched it. They fitted a plastic temporary one and left it hanging off the wall. They said my wiring was faulty and to get an electrician but said it was OK to use the cooker. They said there was nothing more they could do. I got an electrician who said they hadn't connected the earth and I could have been electrocuted. Curry's said they will reimburse me the fitting and for the switch and as a good will gesture give me £40. An insult considering I could have been killed

We ordered an item which was meant to be delivered today. The item cost £200 and simply never turned up. After spending over an hour on the phone, they had no idea where it was or when it was ever going to arrive. We received messages two days ago, one day ago, and earlier this morning saying it was still coming. Nothing! Cancelled the item and went with AO instead. Don't use their service, terrible. Should have listened to my friends and colleagues who have had similar experiences.

Curries price match promos. Forget it. I found a Beco heat pump tumble dryer at Appliance Direct for £133 cheaper than Currys when I rang I was told they would not honour it as Appliance Direct was not on there approved list despite the promise they would match ANY other online or instore price. Not the first time Curries have tried to rip me off but it will be the a last time as I will not use them again at any price.

I have bought a washing machine from currys on the 16th june, it was delivered on the 21st june , 20th july it broke down , 27th july i have an engineer sent who tells me the motor is faulty, Its meant to be brand new. its now the 15th of august and i still havent had it replaced or repaired, im completely disgusted with how i have been treated since logging my issue with the machine, I have children in the house Ive had to spend money to take clothes to the laundrette, neither currys or the supplier logik are doing anything about this , I have contacted trading standards lets see them get moving now, i will never buy anything from currys again and will also tell everybody i know to not also.

Worse experience I've ever had. They are selling used product as new (saddest thing is that they don't even trying to hide it), but if you buy a product which you realise it won't work for you, they won't let you return it (as they can't sell an used item - see above - because it's not in its original packaging - I get an item without box, it was just wrapped with tape, and the manager said: "every product comes without a box from the manufacturer, we put the products into the box here in store, we've just forgot to put this in, let me find a box for you.". Buy an used for half price, no matter where it is from. You'll get better for sure.

Have written confirmation to show they were supposed to take away my old appliance but they refused saying they needed to call the office and come back for it. Then they disappeared and I can't get hold of them 7hrs later.

Shocking Shocking, pathetic, laughable. I unfortunately bought a Curry’s own brand Kenwood Fridge Freezer last November. I also bought the ongoing monthly warranty. The product control panel failed. I contacted Curry’s repair line, who passed me around various sub contractors until one that covered my area was found. They told me that this is such a common fault with this product that they would order a new door with control panel. They arrived with the new door, fitted it and left. They left the old door lying in the middle of my kitchen floor telling me it’s not their problem. I tried to contact Curry’s (HAHAHAHA, No chance) total disinterest, rude and ignorant. BUYER BEWARE, do NOT SHOP AT THIS COWBOY HIGH STREET DODGY DEALER.

My last two experiences with currys were really appalling, waited for 6 weeks for a new range cooker because on the delivery day the guy was sick. Had a tv sent for repairs and it was delivered back smashed and the delivery guy did not want to take it back for repair, finally it was sent back and for two weeks it was no update . I went to the store to buy a new tv with delivery in 5 days and when it supposed to be delivered no one came but in their system showed that it was delivered and signed for. No help from custoner service and now i have to wait for another 5-7 days for them to review the case and to see if that happen . It made me feel that I am the one lying because they have to investigate. Shame on Currys. So that means another 2 weeks without tv. I'm so ,,happy"

I was told Tues would be delivery day waited in delivery was to be 4.30 to 6.30. I kept tracking this time went right through till 6.00 I then checked again and it said Saturday delivery. Not good enough I expect some compensation. I would not recommend Curry's now as I have been a customer for 40 years and Curry's is not the same nobody there is interested .

The silent salesman. Dealt with what seemed like an untrained staff member, when actually I'm sure he knew sufficient information about the products, but chose to present himself as bearing no use. Came across as disinterested and rude.

Rang Team Knowhow twice to report the problem explaining that the compressor had stopped working. When the engineer arrived he did not have the parts to fix the fridge and had to make another appointment, this time ordering a new compressor. I have taken a days annual leave for them to fix the fridge and still it is not fixed. I will have to take another days leave for them to fit the new compressor, very frustrating as I told them what the issue was before the first engineer called!

Brought a Hoover washing machine from currys in Wolverhampton , the man served us quickly and I cannot fault the service he had given. Upon delivery I was worried the drivers would not bring upstairs, but this wasnt the case I got my goods quickly with a smile and wasnt an issue with bringing upstairs..I'm 7 months pregnant and this service was not at all stressful. Thank you.
