I ordered a printer online from Currys and chose the in-store pickup option because I needed the printer urgently and that seemed to be the most cost effective way. My item was promised to be delivered on the next day by 5pm, and the confirmation email said that I would get a email when my item was ready for collection. On the next day, it’s way past 5pm and I got nothing, so I phone the helpline, and had to wait for about 20 mins to get connected. The agent confirmed that my item was delivered and I could go to the store and collect it the next day. I travelled across London to the store and guess what, it was not there, and I needed the printer by the next day. I was so frustrated and called the helpline. It was another 20 mins of waiting, and all they said was that there’s nothing they can do but to file investigation! With a stroke of luck there was an Argos next door and I went in to buy the same printer for the same price. My order is still “under investigation” and I won’t get a refund until it’s concluded. God knows how long that will take! Lesson learners and I’ll never buy from Currys again.

I purchased a new American style fridge freezer in October 2019. I paid for delivery which includes the delivery team placing the appliance in the kitchen. Unfortunately the delivery team said they could not get it through the door. I ended up having to drive 60 miles back home and luckily enough I have a small pallet truck which my wife and I used to bring the freezer in to the kitchen. It fitted perfectly with 40mm gap! The deliver team left it in the pouring rain on my drive! I then complained to Curry's and I had an e mail back saying their customer service department is only on line and any complaints regarding deliveries must be made to the shop directly. I don't have the time to do that which is what I guess their customer services team rely on so cant follow this up further but would definitely recommend you don't buy from here as the service is terrible.

1 star: Bad A minute ago Do not buy anything.from Currys Pc world . Do not buy anything from these cheaters .once you paid your money they don’t care. the hassle you going through to return or exchange is worst . I bought LG UHD 55” Tv , and didn’t like it and decide to exchange it they refused in the worst possible manner . Why buy from them ? you are million times better buying from ARGOS OR AMAZON mostly for cheaper than Currys PC world . At Old Kent Road currys Staffs are rude disrespectful once they sold you their product. Do not buy anything from these monkeys They are a joke of a company. I have seen a lot of people having arguments in Currys store many times I was wondering why was that ? Now I know I why . Read the reviews before you buy . Currys Pc world ... Avoid Avoid Avoid

Purchased a Samsung washing machine and tumble dryer online on the 8/10/19. Full payment was taken from my account on the 9/10/19. Tumble dryer delivery detail were sent via email and i received it on the 12/10/19. No delivery information was provided for the washing machine apart from it was on back order due to being out of stock. I waited for days with no updates regarding anticipated stock delivery and onward delivery to myself. I contacted Currys on their Team Know How number. After a 30 minute wait i was told they would be back in stock on the 18/10/19 and out to me on the 19/10/19 a confirmation email would be sent. A few days passed and no email was received. I contacted them again and was told the same thing. Again no confirmation email was received. Contacted them again this morning to be told after a 30 minute wait that they couldnt tell me when i was going to receive the washing machine and i should call back tomorrow. This evening i get a text through informing me that great news awaited me, my washing machine was now in stock with Currys and due to be delivered to me on the 25/10/19. 16 days after they had taken payment in full for it. I rang them again to wait 20 minutes to speak to a rude man who said he couldnt help me / didnt want to help me. He said i will put you through to someone that could try and help me, before i could respond he had put me back on hold, i waited for another 20 minutes, 40 minutes in total before i thought no one is going to answer and put the phone down. Terrible customer service and after care. Avoid Currys at all costs, save yourself the disappointment

Delivery was confirmed by Curry's for a fridge freezer. Tracker said in was on way and eta would be met. End of slot, I called customer service as I now desperately needed a fridge freezer as I had taken the old one out. The system still showed out for delivery & ETA by time slot that had passed. On contact; "sorry driver ran out of time" "he should have rang", "we appreciate it would have been on a van, but you can't have it following day", "Good news (they said), we have booked you a special delivery in two days!!!!!" Don't expect much satisfaction from customer services; if they don't deliver, to be honest, they will not care. I opted to go for a more reliable competitor and will think twice next time about who I order with. As far my food stuffs requiring refrigeration, perhaps I should take them to the store in a black bin bag for their disposal..

I am utterly disgusted at just how poorly customer treats it's customer. I would even my worst enemy to go and shop anywhere but Currys. To put it into perspective just how bad they are, I am taking Currys to small claims court and their defiance and attitude is absolutely disgraceful! I have the contact details for the CEO so perhaps if all the people on here who have left a one star review contact him, maybe eventually one of the messages may slip past the incompetent escalations team and reach him. My advice, shop anywhere but Currys for your electronics because 66% of the reviews are one star and Currys don't give a damn whether your product works or not, IT'S ALL ABOUT THE MONEY!! Give your money to a store that cares about you or your products. John Lewis offers two years warranty for free on the things they sell yet Currys won't even give you your statutory rights. Utter disgrace!!!

Wish I could give a minus rating. Ordered 2 items, A new Samsung TV and a Samsung washing machine, over £1500 for them both. Told the TV would be in on the Friday and the washing machine delivered on the following Tuesday.Went to the store, over 50 miles round trip, and it wasn't there, delivered Sat so another round trip. Waited in for washing machine all day Tuesday, nothing, old machine given away, Rang Wednesday, not in stock till Friday so delivery after that. Out now till Sunday afternoon then away as its half term. No machine for clean clothes to go away with..... Will be cancelling this order and getting one from AO on next day delivery when we get back.

Rubbish customer service. We had the freezer broken since day 1 and the manufacter couldn't contact them, as is the customer who has to give permission for a replacement. Two days calling them and waiting for over an hour over the phone. Besides it was us, the customer, dealing with everything and chasing everyone, it's us as well who will have to pay for the phone bills. And even thougbwe couldn't contact them! I had to call back the manufacter to put me through their line. And guess what, after all, curry's still had to speak to the manufacter for arranging the replacement. Makes no sense and they are time and money wasters!

Purchased a panasonic camcorder which was £199.99 & total trash, definitely not fit for any purpose. Had to argue with very rude staff in store to get a refund. Stick with Amazon guys and they are cheaper.

I would strongly urge anyone thinking about using curry’s - don’t do it!!! They are absolutely the worst company i have ever had the misfortune to deal with. Ordered American fridge freezer June 2019. 4 failed deliveries, multiple phone calls to customer services, endless complaints. I do now have a fridge freezer - but They have t completed the order and now have live wires hanging out of my kitchen wall (it was supposed to be hard wired in). Lost days waiting in and food loss not compensated - their customer services are shocking - ignoring correspondence, they don’t read the case so it goes around in circles, treat customers as dumb animals. Now looking at taking to court for 5 instances of breach of contract and compensation for losses and also informing trading standards as my home has been left unsafe.

Absolutely abysmal service Ordered a cooker on the 23rd of September which couldn’t be delivered until the 4th of October. It arrived on the 4th of October with nobody able to fit it a service that was promised and paid for . Today is the 11th of October and the third time that they have failed to meet an installation program that have been booked in advance in each occasion I am currently awaiting a call from the customer relations department but my advice is stay clear of Currys know how at all costs they really don’t care and the trouble and additional costs that they have caused is utterly unacceptable in this day and age . Be warned .

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE Message now passed to A Baldock CEO and awaiting reply Further I have recording of visit when engineer tried to con me into signing his blank screen and then refused to leave when I asked him- disgraceful behaviour by HOTPOINT ENGINEER - COMPLAINT IN REF THIS DISGRACEFUL BEHAVIOUR TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE - still trying to get my money back with faulty goods under six months old - take no notice of emails sent - deliberately send emails with such small print and refuse to refund - letter I have sent soon to follow - DISGRACEFUL COMPANY - Contacting watchdog etc as not applying the law DEAR CURRYS I SENT THIS letter below ON THE 20TH SEPTEMBER and all you have done is argue for not refunding for the faulty goods - fridge freezer- attempted repair ONCE but FAILED THE ITEM IS UNDER SIX MONTHS OLD UNDER THE CONSUMER GOODS ACT 2015 I REQUEST A FULL REFUND NOW - STOP DELAYING I AM NOT USING THE ITEM ANYMORE I AM PASSING THIS TO WATCHDOG 20/09/2019 Dear Sir or Madam, REFERENCE: Order Number /Currys-Hotpoint Aquarius HMCB 5050 AA Integrated 5050 I purchased the Hotpoint Aquarius HMCB 5050 AA Integrated 5050 from Currys. At the point of purchase I paid £288. The Hotpoint Aquarius HMCB 5050 AA Integrated 5050 is not of satisfactory quality. This item had a light that kept coming on and off when in use and the temperature seemed to rise as the light stayed on when the door was shut. It also got very cold occasionally and froze my salads sometimes. The light also did not switch on sometimes when the door opened.I was concerned about it from the start but had put up with it for a while. Then I noticed it got worse and the light stayed on whilst the fridge door closed which was a bit worrying and I phoned up Curries/Hotpoint to get it sorted out. The engineer came and said it was the spring in the door unit light. which he replaced He left and I then did my own checks and put a phone inside the fridge and the light went off initially and then came back on and stayed on when the fridge door was shut. This means the fridge is in effect heating up sometimes. I have also noticed the door seal does not seem to work fully. The engineer insisted that I should have it fixed again as did Hotpoint service, but I have now switched the fridge freezer off and stopped using it as it is obviously faulty and they have tried to fix it once already and I am concerned as to the temperature of the fridge etc as the seal does not seem to work and hold the door in as well as the light not working.. The Consumer Rights Act 2015 makes it an implied term of the contract I have with Currys that goods be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. As you are in breach of contract and I've owned the product for less than 6 months and a previous attempt at repair or replacement has also failed, I am within my statutory rights to ask for a full refund of the original cost paid. I await confirmation that you will provide the remedy set out above within 14 days of the date of this letter. Yours faithfully,

took 7 phone calls to customer service to get dishwasher sorted. one delivered damaged. each phone call took 31 minutes with the first 20 mins on hold, no confidence in what you were being told by staff, if first one had done their job properly would not have needed the other 6 calls and me being uptight with silly jingle while waiting, Not Customer Service. Customer wind up

I attended the Curry’s PC World in Speke Retail park to buy my son a laptop. I’m helpless when it comes to technology and a young girl named Mya helped me a lot. She talked me through all the laptops and told me how they work and their features. She also set up my laptop and showed me all the benefits of the warrantee in store. Amazing, I highly recommend this store in Speke.

Dear all, I went buy gas cooker at Curry's. They strongly recommended Electric cooker. I had changed my mind to buy electric cooker based on their recommendation. However I didn't like and wanted exchange. I went to the shop and explain everything and happily agree to exchange. Next day I went with receipt the Manager of the shop said NO we don't exchange. Manager was saying they make lots of recommendation its customer fault to trust their promise. They talk lots until you buy something. Once you bought the product their attitude completely different. His customer service so awful. I had seen on their vehicles We know how to deliver. Now I know what they can deliver ( their unwanted items) The staff knows how to deliver faulty recommendation The manager knows how to find loophole to cheat their customer. Due to moved recently different location I had buy more items, Now I went Argos. Better customer service, reasonable price. They deliver what promise. Avoid Curry's!!! Curry's Cant deliver what they promise.

It's a shame one star is not an option to write this review. Without boring the reader too much with the very lengthy details of our case, we were promised a refund following a very poor installation for a white good we purchased from Currys several months ago. We had to pay our own plumber in the end to sort the problem (he said it was the worst installation he had ever seen). I spent around 10 hours in dealing with their 'customer services' department trying to sort the problem. Despite being promised a refund, and even receiving a phone call confirming that payment had been made, we did not receive any money from them. I have NEVER known such poor customer service from a company and will NEVER be buying anything from them again.

Purchased a fridge freezer from Curry’s £900 it broke just short of 3 months later! And then the fun started! It would be 10 days before they could get an engineer out to look at it! 10 days we said? And what do you suggest we do in the meantime with no fridge or freezer? (Not interested) 10 days later the engineer turned up and confirmed it was broke.... I am then told he would fill out his report and someone would call.... that call never came so we then spent the next week and a lot of calls by us to Curry’s to find out when we would get our replacement fridge freezer? That took another week (almost a month without a fridge-freezer now). We then broached the subject of what Curry’s will do to compensate us for A. The inconvenience and B. The cost of the food we had lost(£250) worth! I have never been so insulted in all my life when they said we only compensate for the frozen goods then offered a pitiful £60. Which was rejected after a lot of chasing up then offered a pathetic £99 take it or leave it type attitude! We are still in this process as I think the offer and aftercare offered by Curry’s customer service is an absolute joke! I won’t hold my breath... but one thing I am sure of is I will never shop at Curry’s again. They are allegedly one of the leading companies for household appliances, unless you have a faulty appliance they could not care less! Having read some of the shocking reviews by others it has urged me to write mine..... Do not buy from Curry’s they are a disgrace! It doesn’t end here! I will push for a governing body to look in to Curry’s and their appalling aftercare 😡

Do not buy anything on-line from this so called company. All you hear is a pack of excuses from customer service who obviously are not trained in good manners or taught how to speak to a Customer. I bought a tumble drier on-line paid for next day delivery and for taking away of old one. Cancelled a lunch appointment Sunday and sat waiting...and waiting...the customer service close at 5pm, but you are told they can deliver up to 7pm so we waited until then. It didn't arrive, so called first thing Monday morning, waited 14 mins for phone to be answered, was told that they had none of that make in stock, so that's why it wasn't' sent, they are due in on Wednesday so they could send one to me on Thursday. I then got passed across to Sales so I could chose another one, so it could be delivered tomorrow. Turned out I have to pay again for a different Tumble dryer and have the original refunded!!! I refused to pay again and was passed back to Customer Services. ..after 10 mins of phone ringing out. I gave up and called complaints (press 3 then 4) Finally someone to helped me, I chose another make, then the Customer Service went to his line manager, came back and said that they actually did have the Original Tumble dryer in stock at the time, but due to a "Systems Error" it hadn't been loaded onto the truck. So he'd arrange for the original one to be delivered on "Thursday" (isn't this the day I was promised by the first Customer Service?) I told him I want it tomorrow, which is next day as with the original order, was told they only deliver on Thursday in my area....So that's why they didn't deliver in the first place is it?? I cancelled the whole lot, however Currys still have my money in their account making interest, for the next day or so. Makes you think how much they make by this means. So here I am, no tumble dryer and lighter in my bank account by £250.00. Luckily I have enough to go and pick one up..not from Currys. So a word or warning Do not Shop with Currys.
