I had always held Dixons, Currys and PC World in high regard in the past. However now they are a complete disappointment. I ordered an Oculus Rift S from them 2 months ago and was said to be delivered on the Friday. I took the day off from work on Friday so I could be there for the courier, however no one came. Ever since I have been calling and calling them with wait times of over 4 hours then just giving up... Recently I was I sent an email by them asking how I am enjoy my product? Which is ridiculous. This then prompted me to call them again with no avail. Then I received an email saying my item is out of stock but should have more on the 7th of June and they will notify me by Email/Phone. Which of course has not happened. To be frank I have been left in the dark with really no communication, just come generic emails. Once again I am on the phone to them. I just want a refund... I have been patient and optimistic enough. However I am not sure if I'll get my £400 back from them. This just feels wrong... They take your money, don't deliver your item and then never talk to you. Isn't this a crime, a scam? Regardless I will never be dealing with them in the future and will tell everyone I know to avoid this company.

Will never purchase from here again. Dishwasher ordered - damaged on arrival Spend 2hrs on the phone had a new one delivered and existing one picked up 2 days later Next one damaged exactly the same Asked for a full refund and for the dishwasher to be collected and we will shop elsewhere Spend 2+hrs on the phone Asked for a full refund and for the dishwasher to be collected and we will shop elsewhere. They "couldnt help" so gave me a email address to email instead Tried to email- said the mailbox was full and not accepting anymore emails.... Had to call again for another 1hr+ they finally said they would collect 2 days later Ive had nothing but issues since I ordered the first dishwasher of all 11 days ago! Now spend 3 days waiting in for delivery and collections And a total of 6+ hours on the phone 2 damaged on arrival dishwashers- clearly manufactured faults as both exactly the same- why are they being allowed to be sent out like that!!!!!

I first tried to get in touch with Currys on May 21st about a faulty monitor I had purchased. Despite spending over 2 hours on the phone that day and continuously getting disconnected when being transferred to the department I needed to talk to, I reverted to Twitter to try and get some form of response. It must be one guy managing the thousands of complaints they're receiving as it was days between response times. It was 8 days later that I eventually managed to get the monitor picked up. I was told 19 days after first contact (having chased numerous times on Twitter) that they no longer had the monitor in stock. It's now day 20 and I'm still trying to resolve the matter.

DO not buy from Currys. It is unable to contact with their customer service. They do not have email so the only one way to complain is sending a letter. I will never order from them anything.

Ordered a washing machine delivered and paid to take old machine and unwrap new machine. Fella couldn't wait to get out the door, struggled to get the machine off the packaging. Poor customer service and won't be buying again from Currys

Never buy from Currys. It is beyond belief what they will do after they have received your money. Good luck in getting any response if you do decide to buy from them.

I had a DAB radio delivered from Curry's a week and a half ago. After trying to use it found it to be faulty. Tried for over 4 days to contact them on the phone, on email and on messenger all to no avail. Also emailed the CEO without any response. Finally after 6 days one of my many emails must have got somewhere! as I had a message the radio would be picked up that day. It was duly collected by DPD (luckily I got a receipt as no paperwork in the parcel at all. Have no idea what is happening about my refund despite starting the inevitable round of phone calls, emails and messenger and getting nowhere. Have had no notification as to if Curry's have received it back. I am an older person, living alone, housebound and isolating and the radio was my one piece of companionship which i have now been without for 2 weeks and no refund to buy another one (from elswhere!) Would not deal with this company again if they were the last shop on earth. If you need to keep away from stressful situations, avoid Curry's PC World like the plague.

Incomplete order - only 3 of 4 ordered items delivered, we had to contact customer service four times to chase missing item, spent hours on hold and seven weeks later this still isn’t resolved. Awful customer service, Avoid buying from curry’s!!

Having received a faulty printer from Currys I have now made five attempts to contact them to arrange for it to be collected - twice involving extended waits on their phone service, the second of which was cut off after I finally got through to an assistant, and three emails that have been ignored. You may be tempted by the price, but if you value your time at all I'd suggest you are taking a big risk, as if anything goes wrong you may as well just throw it away for all the support that Currys are providing. After posting an adverse review online, Curry’s did see fit to respond generically – precis: sorry, we’re here to help, please bear with us – but despite finding the resource for that, another two weeks later they have still not replied to any of my (three) emails to 'customer services'... you decide. I will never use them again.

Customer service is absolutely appalling and I'm usually very forgiving as I've worked in customer service my whole life. They damaged our tv when we tried to get it fixed because it was faulty and now we can't get a replacement or refund. They basically robbed us and we can't get through on phone lines despite spending between 1 and 2 hours on hold each time for 15+ calls in the 2 months since it happened. They always say they will follow up but nothing happens. Often we just get cut off after 2 hours of holding. Pathetic excuse for customer service. Never using this company again.

I ordered a fridge and paid 35.00 for door reversal. Fridge came delivery person was reluctant to come into block of flats. Brought fridge up on lift and just dumped it in my kitchen and went. After being on the phone to curry’s for nearly an hour I was told that the person who delivered it should have reversed the door in situ. Also unpacked it. So that was yesterday 08 June. Said that somebody would come today to do what was supposed to have been done yesterday. 09 June 3.08 pm still waiting so rang up again on phone for 45 minutes . The man on the line was at home the tv was blaring with loads of background noise. He told me their not now coming till tomorrow. I was so annoyed and frustrated. If the person that delivered the fridge was frightened of coming into my flat to do the reversal of the fridge door they should never have asked him to do the delivery. He was also quite rude. I know times are difficult at the moment but they took my money for the fridge and the door opening reversal so that service should have been adhered too. Oh curry’s you still want the sales but your after services are totally and utterly disgusting. Shame on you. I’m 73 and left with no fridge and need the fridge for my medicines.

I called customer service and been answered quickly but after going through the reason of my call, the lady told me to hold on a moment...so I’ve waited for 1 hour, then I hang out the phone 🤯 Curry’s, you may want to improve your customer service while you still have customers. Personally, I won’t ever shop from you again.

Ordered a undercounter freezer on the 22nd of May. Have received no indication of when or where the freezer will be delivered. Online registration says my order doesn't exist. Customer service either ignored, cut me off or passed on knowing full well no one will answer. Took my money straight away on the day I ordered but when I finally said that I wanted to make a formal complaint, the person I spoke to couldn't find my order and said he would ring me back. Staff clearly working from home and resulted in poor connection and background noise of family home. Shoddy customer service excused by staff as to do with the covid virus. Trying to email or contact starts never ending cycle again so left extremely upset and annoyed.

Been trying to replave a broken coffee machine that I have a care plan on. 3 messages and 6 hours on the phone later and I have have been ignored and hung up on and told that I need to contact manufacturers, even though they are still charging me for the care plan! The worst thing is I can order a replacement for next day if I'm willing to pay again but they can't send me one on the care plan they continue to charge me for

I purchased a Dell G3 laptop for my son six months ago, After four months of light use it refused to turn on. I returned the laptop to Currys under their warranty but they returned it as they claimed it was caused by water ingress, however a local pc repairer could find no evidence. I then arranged an out of warranty repair with Dell and was quoted £400 for a new screen and keyboard however after you they the laptop for almost two months it was returned unrepaired because they could not source the parts. I am surprised that a laptop that is still on sale at the present moment is no longer supported, is this even legal?? I understand during the current climate that production is delayed however I made it expressly clear that I was prepared to wait for as long as it would take. My son now has to complete all of his home schooling during this pandemic on a ten inch tablet. Very dissapointed.

They simply deserve to go out of business. I have purchased 5 items in the past 2 years - every-time problems - the Team Know How are appalling. Never again.
