Bought Double Cavity Cooker from Currys/PC World in store in Crayford and the door came off literally in my hands 3 months after buying it in store. Called BEKO as on the receipt after one month I have to call them for a repair. After waiting 25 minutes to speak to BEKO who ordered the spare part and took 3 days! only to find they had only sent the door no hinges/pins just a door!!!! so nothing could be done when the engineer came to fix the new door and opened up the package . Will have to wait yet another 3 days for the spare part to arrive from Beko and sent to the engineers department. I am not able to cook as don't have an oven! This is disgraceful. I have called Beko who have apologised and said the person I spoke to at Beko should have ordered the door with hinges/pins. Have gone to Currys in Crayford tonight as want a refund now, as this is disgusting. They have said they will speak to Beko on Monday. Sales of Goods Act is that I bought the item from Currys so they should issue me with a refund!! Will take this up again on Monday

Team dontknowhow are completely useless. Idiot installer tripped by electrics by yanking the washing machine away from the wall. He started blaming my electrics. Stupid idiot didn't unplug the machine. He then broke the plastic lever on the valve claiming corrision. Came in through the front door and wouldn't use the side door as requested. Tossers left dirt all through the house. Didn't bother to use a bucket to catch the residual water, but let it pis all over the floor. Didn't bother to level the machine either. Dont let these people into your house they will trash it.

In early December 2017 I purchased a YAMAHA 107 Soundbar from CURRYS Online. Believe me, after some of my family's experience with CURRYS going back to the 1950s, I didn't want to go back, but they were the only ones with this particular model. Apparently, they were still suffering from "Black Friday" - no Help online, no phones being answered [this went on for days]. Their webpage doesn't have the capability of reviewing one's basket before payment is accepted. Not my fault, but 2 of the Soundbars appeared, and payment had been taken. That's when all the phoning happened, with no result. So I turned back one item when delivery took place a couple of days later [still no phone capability]. I emailed them several times from the day of the cock-up until after delivery. Nothing except the automated response. So I got my credit card company onto it, and finally received an email acknowledging the Return-within-30-days and pledging a refund. furious, I wrote to their Head Office and eventually received a call from a manager who was apologetic and promised a £10 compensation for the Prime Time calls I had to make and the hassle I'd suffered. He blamed "Black Friday" and also said he'd look into the webpage problem. My credit card nor bank account still haven't been credited, and I've been onto the cc company yet again. It's the total lack of customer care that gets me worse than the webpage or repayment delay. Other times in the past I've come up against CURRYS Helpdesk ops who seemed like idiots; perhaps they're cheaper to employ than experts.

Disgraceful compony, order never arrived, tried phoning them twice, was on hold on their premium number for 20 minutes both times, no one available. Now been informed by text that my delivery has been rescheduled for 4 weeks time. Only way to cancel order it to phone their premium rate number! Avoid Avoid Avoid.

I would advise anyone who intends to purchase anything to ask the sales person if they can offer you an incentive to purchase the product you want.they can sometimes offer you something such as reduce price on warranties or other things, anyway they can only say no.

I paid for 5 years product support when I got my Kenwood dishwasher in 2016 and now I am struggling to even get an appointment with them. - You wait in line forever to get an attendant. - They log your case and give an order number saying that you will get a call back in 48hrs to be informed of your appointment. - One week has passed and nothing. - The “knowhow Technician” which is a subcontractor calls you, in the middle of the day, a week later asking if you are home because he is around. - Of course, you will probably not be at home because, I like to think, that the majority of adults are working to pay their bills and buy pointless products support. - The “knowhow Technician” tell you that since you are not at home, the office will call you sometime next week and that he has no authority to give me an appointment. - You call the knowhow helpline back and forward and they keep saying that you need to wait for the call back, and I was also informed that the Technician said that I was not available for the appointment that never existed in the first place. - Now you know the level of the Company that you will be dealing with. The Team knowhow knows only how to take your money. I am writing so other consumers will be aware of the great pain in the neck this Company is. I will make sure to post this review in every corner of the internet, so other people don’t fall for the promises that Curry’s made me while trying to sell their Product Support. Since we have no one to defend our Consumer rights we need to stick together and avoid that others fall into the same trap.

The gentleman who showed us the full details of the TV was very knowledgable, we can out with a bigger TV than we went in for but so glad we did.

I ordered a Yamaha soundbar for collection on January 5th then on Saturday morning (January 6th) I went to pick up my product and they said that even though I reserved the product, I can't pick it up because they've already sold it to someone else and that I would need to order it online. This annoyed me greatly as I believe that if I reserve something online i should be able to pick it up without fear of it being sold to someone else. However, I moved on and decided to order it online. I then ordered this soundbar online at 12 o'clock on Saturday afternoon and received an email telling me that the soundbar isn't available online for delivery either 4 hours later and has been cancelled. Learning of this was very disappointing due to what I went through in the morning and the fact that, much like the reservation, if I order something and it says that it's gone through, I expect to receive my order and not to receive an email telling me that it's cancelled. I then called the customer service number given to me in the email to ask what's happening and his exact words were "you'll have to click and collect because it's only available in store" I then went on to tell him what I've gone through and he just said "well, I can't help with that" I'm completely appalled by the service I've received and if it were to for me having a Currys voucher that I got over Christmas, would not give this company my business. I then tried to purchase the product one more time and it's saying that my gift card is empty so I called customer service again and they said it'll take 24 to 48 hours for the money to go back on and it's now Thursday so I've waited 5 days and still haven't gotten my money back or received a replacement gift card, my gift card was worth £100 so I'm extremely upset and disgusted by the service I've received. They haven't even bothered to respond to an email that I sent to their customer service.

What went wrong was ordering in the first place, I had no idea the customer service was so atrocious. un-activated internet security was sent out, I've now wasted my money on four pointless phone calls and achieved nothing, I wrote two pointless e-mails, one had no reply, the second had a pointless reply suggesting that I perhaps could resolve my problem at the store, which for me is a 50 mile round trip! Anyway what's the point of selling online if you then have to go to the store? This company took my money and gave me nothing, thanks Currys what a gem you are obviously staffed or understaffed by brain dead people. I understand that sometimes things go wrong or don't work, but also any decent company would quickly send a replacement, well Currys don't fall into that category apparently and I'm still waiting and rather disgusted!
