Will never deal with Currys. 1st time ever bought washing machine and dryer but took 11th visits to the store and still cocked up with orders. Damaged my new flooring which now tilted outward because of water clogging under the floors, as the drivers said he can't spend time making sure all was secured properly! Currys taken too long and own sweet times that I am now taking them to claims court. Currys given me stress after stress. And it was my money! This is a big joke.

I recently brought a chromebook online. No issues with delivery, it turned up when promissed. The issues started when the screen turned out top be defective. After wasting my time telling me to speak to Asus first, they asked me to go into store to have it checked out. Their helpdesk personell were very helpful, but unable to fix the issue. They recomended that they send it back, and get a replacement sent out. This was 5 days ago. I have yet to hear anything from the returns team regarding my replacement. Today I have phoned their customer service team, who state that they have received my order, but that it won't be processed for at least a further 2-3 days, over a week since I returned the item. They were unable to tell me when a replacement might be shipped. This is unacceptable for a product I have physically returned to a store. I was told in store that they have the chromebook in stock, and it shouldn't be more than a day or 2. Currys needs to work hard on it's customer service. Their handling has been awful, and I will not be purchasing anything from them again. I recomend no-one else uses them either.

It is 15minutes after the installation guys have left my property after installing my Logik L814WM16 washing machine only for it to begin whining. Yes the machine is now making a continuous whining sound even with the power off. This is the first time I have ever bought a large white goods product from Currys and believe me I am so disappointed. All my previous machines are from AO all fitted with no problems and worked excellently from the word go. I immediately contacted their service but cannot have anyone out until Thursday of which I have to waiting in for the whole day as they don’t do morning or afternoon sessions; why not? It is because their products are all faulty and their service engineers are overextended?

They're selling goods online that they simply have no stock for. Lure you in with promise of fast delivery and over a week later nothing . Their tracking doesn't work (fictional?) - they take your money and don't seem to care about non-delivery of goods. Avoid at all costs - you can find cheaper online with retailers that fulfil their delivery promises.

My American style fridge freezer cost just under £1000 the people who delivered it May damaged one door. I received a text on the 31st May saying the door had been ordered, I still haven’t got a replacement & unless I make the contact, except for one time, I hear nothing. I even had to follow it up myself with Hisense to find out when I would get the door. Still waiting!!!

Do not buy from them! Customer service is shocking! I ordered a £300 tablet from their website on the 28th July as they didn't have it in store. I had someone wait in on the day it was supposed to be delivered and I never turned up. I phoned DHL and they told me that the item has not been scanned in over a day. So they said that they would do a warehouse search and it would take 24 hours, I was quite happy to wait and understood the delay. They phoned me back the next morning and told me that they could not find the item and that I should contact Curry's for a refund or replacement. So, I contacted Curry's customer services(or lack of it). I get passed around the call centre like the last stale donut that no one wants, going from one person to the next. Its funny how when you get passed from one guy to the next they don't have any of your details and you have to go though the same laborious questions. This gets old very fast and you lot wonder why people get miffed. Anyway eventually I got through to the guy that was quite helpful and was willing to have a look for me. I did have to wade through a swamp of incompetence to get to him though. He told me that he would pass it on the logistic investigation and I would have a result in 7 days. Fine, I have waited this long, what's another 7 days. As you can guess those days came and went I gave them another few days just in case. So 10 days later and have still heard NOTHING! So I rang them back and once again waded through the swamp of incompetence and the same questions over and over again and eventually got through to another helpful guy. He looked into it and understood my frustration he told me that the logistic department haven't even looked at my case! He told me he has also requested that they issue me a refund and it would be in my account in 5-6 working days. Which brings me to today 19th July where I still do not have my tablet or my £300 back. So I ring Curry's up again! and go through the same questions again but the second person I spoke to this time took on my problem. Guess what, the refund hasn't been issued the logistics team still haven't bothered (he tells me that is DHL not getting back to them, but when I phone DHL they are quite happy to tell me what's going on and are still waiting for a phone call from Curry's). Lies to me saying that its a contract between me and the courier. When its Curry's that has the onus to deliver what I have paid for, and the contract is between me and Curry's not the courier, like it is with all retail. He tells me that the investigation will take another 48 hours! I have waited long enough Its not my fault that DHL lost it and I want my money back! But Curry's will not give back the £300 that I have paid. Needless to say I will never be using Curry's ever again. Which is a shame as I do try and support the high street economy but I am sure with customer service like this you will not survive and amazon will swallow you whole. I will dispute it with PayPal.

Delivery staff damaged my goods tried to deny it - however as I record all deliveries (never trust a delivery man/woman) this was 15th June and am now still waiting for a response, the delivery men also pretended to make a call to the warehouse to say the cooker was damaged when i called to check a week later there was no record of a call, so as well as damaging my property they also treated me like some sort of mug

terrible store, poor service. We are convinced of this once again. ordered a grill, waited a very long time. delivered is not the product that was ordered. the money in the store was not returned, I had to wait for the courier to receive a few more days to pick up the grill, we are still waiting for the money. We will never order anything again in this terrible store.

Worst Customer service in the UK. Ordered a Laptop for next day deliver, paid £10 for next day delivery. Not received it even after 5 days. Made around 20 calls, every time they would say today it will be delivered but at the end of 5th day they say it's lost. The best part is they wouldn't refund or give another Laptop until investigation is complete and it's going to take another 14 days. The best part is that this is the a reorder where the first order was cancelled because they did not have any of my correct information. unfortunately I had the currys voucher and had to order again. The Customer service says they can't do anything.

I had a fridge freezer and washing machine delivered the other day and found that after they had installed my washing machine the man had put the tube from my old washing machine in the drum and set it on a spin to test the washer. He then left. My old washing machine was left outside my neighbors door so I had to move it myself. I called curry’s to log a complaint and they never got back in touch. Appalling customer service.

When ordering my new oven was advised that we would receive a text on morning of delivery to inform us of time slot. I waited all day but didn't receive any notification whatsoever until 3.53 pm with a message that they would arrive within the next couple of hours! They never arrived and no further communication until just about 8pm to casually inform us that they now couldn't deliver and 'it would be sometime on Sunday'! At this we put our foot down as don't intend to waste another day waiting in on the off chance that our Currys oven might arrive. Eventually was offered a morning time slot. It was only then that I saw the poor reviews for Currys. I now regret that I didn't go elsewhere in the first place and would never deal with Currys again. I wasted a whole day waiting in for nothing and just being fobbed off until that evening. Their delivery service and communication is abysmal and the attitude we received was that they couldn't care less! Never again!

I was very impressed by the customer service when my son recently bought me a tumble dryer the day after I’d ordered the same one myself after mine broke down. I was going into hospital for an op so wanted to order before I went in not knowing my son had planned to get me one as a surprise. Curry’s quickly & efficiently cancelled my order and refunded me within days!

Service is non existent. I bought a Currys Essential dishwasher 4 months ago, it developed a fault so I contacted the customer service team. They did not listen to what the fault was just insisted that an engineer needed to attend. I arranged for an engineer to call to arrange a time, he did not call however a week later I got a call saying they were 15 mins away from my house. I hastily got home to be told the fault was exactly the same as I had diagnosed and that he needed to order parts. 3 weeks later another engineer came to fit them. He would not test the machine after fitting them and left. When he had gone the fault was still there and I found that the lino in the kitchen had been ripped by him removing the machine. I rang him straight back and he would not answer the phone. I immediately rang the Knowhow team and they said he was refusing to come back and they would need to send another person. Later that day my neighbour in the flat below knocked on my door saying water was running through his roof. On inspection we found the water inlet pipe was not fitted correctly and had been leaking all day. I rang Currys again and after 3 hours with different departments I managed to arrange for a new machine to be delivered the following day. This machine came was fitted and tested by engineer and found to have a faulty discharge pipe which again flooded the kitchen. Again I rang Curry and arranged for a 3rd machine to be delivered which was finally done. Currys currently are saying that another person will need to attend to see the damage and that my neighbour will need to ring and complain himself as he is at a different address. A £169 dishwasher has caused damaged floor covering, my neighbours damaged ceiling, me having to take 4 days off work (they refuse to give a time for call outs) and approx 6 hours in phone calls.

I bought a Dell laptop from Currys online in February 2018. Within the warranty time (12 months), the laptop stopped working and I took to Currys Staples Corner (still in its box). The Team KnowHow store assistant (name withheld) booked in the laptop for investigations. A week later I received a text that my laptop was ready for collection. The same person later informed me that the laptop was not repaired due to ‘water damage’ — however no report or proof of liquid damage was ever produced. Currys claimed they had photographic evidence of ‘liquid damage’ and were very dismissive when I asked for the report or evidence. I then asked to speak to the manager on duty and was informed he wasn’t available. However, I was given the store manager’s name so I called and spoke to him about the disgusting way I was treated at the store — nothing was ever done about it. I called Currys again several days later and was told a pack of lies about how their computer system was down and they couldn’t send the photos and report of the ‘liquid damage’. I’ve been waiting since February (5 months) for a non-existence report. In May, I contacted Dell who advised that they still have a contract with Dixons owners of Currys therefore I should go back to them. I took the laptop to the Tottenham Hale store — again no help was given and the customer service was completely unprofessional and totally lacking. Again I was lied to that a report was available while indeed there was none. Then my other half contacted customer service directly in June and was informed that there was indeed ‘no evidence available to support their claim but that they still believed the laptop is liquid damaged… And therefore Currys will not be repairing the Laptop.’ Following the pack of lies and misleading information from Currys, we’ve decided to follow the legal avenue to redress the failures from Currys and under the Consumer Rights Act 2015; we’re seeking compensation of either a full refund or a replacement of the laptop. We’ve given Currys PC World an F minus rating as they’re a total disgrace and I certainly would never recommend anyone buys a laptop from this unscrupulous retailer. Currys PC World’s behaviour is unacceptable and we’ll never let them get away with this criminality.

Our house phones developed faults. They were covered by a service agreement, but couldn’t find the paperwork. Rang customer service. Took my postcode and house number.... all sorted. Told just to go into store and given a reference number. So off we went to Curry’s st Darlington. Got the phones exchanged, no issues, very easy straightforward transaction. Staff were extremely helpful. Explained that the new phones were still covered by the service plan. Very impressed. We have purchased a lot of different items from this store, over the years. Never had a bad experience.?

Ordered a washing machine to be delivered on the Tuesday, waited in all day and didn’t turn up. rang to find out why all i got was ‘no notes on the system’. And something about the only thing they could think was the driver had run out of driving hours. Could have phoned me? Rearranged for Thursday could only offer 1-5 for latest slot told them I wouldn’t be in until 2.30, they said they’d note it for the driver. Got a text to say delivery will be Friday so rang again to say we agreed Thursday to be told the next time they’re in the area is Friday, so again said won’t be in until 2.30. Between 1-5 again was latest they could offer, told me that’s Fine will put a note for the driver. Got a phone call today at 12pm saying they were here. Customer services rang and said I shouldn’t have been told it would be after 2.30. Said they could rearrange for another day. I told them it’s not acceptable messing people around like this so will take my custom elsewhere!
