“I decided to give Cutter & Squidge a second chance after a previous, very disappointing, dry Red Velvet Cake postal order. This time, opting to try their brownie selection box and their mixed cookie selection box. The brownie selection was ok, but not great. The brownies themselves are _very_ thin, about 1.5 cm tall so slightly thicker than a Jaffa Cake with .3-.5 generally dedicated to some topping like chocolate. Personally what I like and expect in a brownie is a thick bite with a soft center that fills your mouth. Because they're so thin it also causes them to be fairly dry and unsatisfying. The Mixed Cookie Selection was the most disappointing. They are advertised as "thick, chunky and soft" however they arrived (batch number the date before they were delivered) hard as biscuits that could have been made weeks prior. I am certain at this point that Cutter and Squidge's "batch number" labels are not, in fact, the date the items are baked/cooked but the date they are placed in a box for delivery. These cookies were not fresh. The instructions on the box suggest to warm them up in the oven for 5 minutes, which I did with each, however somehow it barely improved their consistency - they always came out stale and cakey rather than a nice mix of crispy and soft. I will say, trying to eat one of these without warming them up is completely unpalatable.”

“The cake itself looked just like the image. Top plastic on cake box had been pressed in slightly touching cake which is obv a delivery issue. I wasn’t overly impressed by the sponge to be honest. It was very dense and hard to eat. The actual flavor of the cake was nice. But the sponge wasn’t light or fluffy. It was a very small cake and 6 adults and 2 kids couldn’t finish more than half of it which is a sign in itself.”

“We ordered cookies and some brownies with a gift card provided to us by Cutter and Squidge following a bad experience with my first 'afternoon tea' order with them. I have to say the service is amazing and the cookies and brownies more than made up for the initial disappointment we had with the afternoon tea we had earlier in the year.”

“We bought this box as a surprise present for our sister, who needed cheering up as she is recovering from an operation which has been quite difficult for her. It was a complete surprise for her and she has really, really enjoyed the whole box of goodies!! Would recommend this gift if you want to cheer someone up....or just tell them you love them!!”

“The vegan chocolate and caramel cake is absolutely divine! The cake was beautifully decorated on top with my chosen birthday message, and there were with chocolate shavings and tiny coloured swans scattered around the edges. Not the first time I’ve ordered a vegan celebration cake from you, and both times extremely pleased”
