“Just received email asking me to edit this review. What kind of company behaves in this way? Original text follows. Was given gift voucher for afternoon tea for two. Fine but not exceptional. Clotted cream was disappointing. Cake too sweet.”

“Cake was fine, I was a bit disappointed that it wasn't fresh - came in plastic wrapping, I think if I had known that I wouldn't have been as disappointed.”

“I received my afternoon tea box as a gift. The scones were absolutely delicious and the brownies were lovely, but I did feel the 2 jars of clotted cream were too small to cover four scones. Also, the sponge cake hadn’t travelled well and the icing had melted into the sponge and it was soggy. It was an enjoyable treat but I would have liked a bigger portion of cream and different less soggy sponge cakes.”

“We chose the celebration cake with macaroons for my father in law’s birthday. Not only did it taste amazing but it looked spectacular! Not sickly sweet and very moist sponge. Quality chocolate. It fed all of us (family of 20) and the other residents where he lives. It came on time for the party and was delivered in pristine condition. Totally worth the money in my opinion for a very special occasion cake (like a 90th birthday)”
