Probably it’s not the store faults but I did not get my delivery on time to surprise my bf birthday as I was away from him for three so I wanted to do a little something for his birthday. But no, nothing special happens cause the order was not delivered. There was no phone call about the cake arriving, nothing just an update on the website saying that they could not deliver as they couldn’t find the address. It’s impossible to not find the address even amazon and shein could find the address.

We’ve looked into your order and can see that the courier marked the delivery as unsuccessful as they were unable to locate the address. We unfortunately don’t receive real-time updates from the courier, so we do rely on customers to loop us in if anything goes wrong so we can step in quickly. Not all their fault but despite ordering in time they rely on DPD to pick the time of delivery between 8and 8pm so not always during t the day. I wanted it before 6 as it was a business. I rearranged delivery and they still delivered the day originally set and handed the parcel to a random man In the car park. So big fail

Paid for next day before 12 and it came at 3.30 with crashed biscuits and the cream had liquefied in the jar. Complained and got a refund but did ruin the birthday present I arranged it for.

Difficult to say much about the company since I don't know much about them. The website heavily upsells, but that's just business and to be expected. Re. the quality of the food being sold, that's 100% on the directors and they should take a step back and think about how it reflects on the integrity of the business.

No response at all from customer service when I noticed that you were sending the brownies to my billing address and not the address that was on the screen when I placed the order. Brownies left on doorstep in the sun in a heatwave. Didn't even taste nice - full of sugar, lived up to the 'squidge', or squelch. Had to buy a different gift for my colleague as I wasn't going to reorder the brownies after that experience.

I didn't receive my treats and so I am unable to review them. In fact, I found customer service to not be very helpful on the two occasions I have contacted them. I am still waiting to hear what is happening regarding the resolution of my order from a few weeks ago and it has put me off from ordering again.

MISDELIVERED I cannot comment on the quality of the brownies I ordered as due to DPD tracking showing a photo of a courier delivering it incorrectly to a garden path instead of a front door, the recipient (it was a bereavement and I thought brownies would be better than flowers) did not find it for a week and they were all mouldy. Yes, it was a courier issue, but on telling Cutter and Squidge about the issue and advising them to remind the couriers that these were perishable goods, I was told by customer services that the courier had delivered them to the front door and they they showed an image which was totally irrelevant and the tone of the letter was to the effect that both me and the recipient were lying. I hadn’t actually asked for a refund, and I wasn’t offered the opportunity to get a new box sent out. On escalating this I had an apology from one of the founders, an assurance that they were concentrating on making customer service follow the company ethos and a refund was immediately effected

Cake due for delivery between 1.30-2.30 pm on 12th June. Finally arrived after 8pm the same day. Long after birthday party guests had gone home. Reported this on line to Cutter and Squidge on 13th by email. No response so far. Think twice, no three times if you order a cake as a birthday surprise. Perhaps use another company.

My daughter sent her dad an afternoon tea for father's day the scones were as hard as rock cakes ,two tiny jars of cream that was enough for 1 scone ,the cakes were squashed and were heavy and doughy , very disappointing.

the cak elooked good .but was dry , no carame l filling , absolute disaster ,and ruined my occasion as it didnt taste good at all , the icing was super sweet as if just sugar n no flavour . will not buy henceforth , the reviews are misguiding .

Maybe it’s good - but for something as important and eid they send delivery by DPD but don’t follow up to see if you received your perishable goods. My DPD driver delivered the parcel but not to me. He left it at some random place on the street. His photo didn’t include the vicinity of the box just a picture of the box. I had to sit on the phone for hours with DPD being told he did deliver it and if I had an issue contact cutter and squidge. But cutter and squidge didn’t respond to me. And dpd finally admitted that the driver left the box in some random place that wasn’t my address because even his map pin was way off. It got here in the end but it was a lot of stress to receive desserts for an eid party that cost over £100, with zero communication from cutter and squidge. They finally responded. One week after the fact. Just to say repeatedly oh it’s not our problem it’s yours - and then - hilariously - to offer me FREE SHIPPING on my next order 🤣🤣🤣. My advice is if it’s an important occasion don’t order from them. They just don’t care. The desserts are average at best. The customer service is abysmal. They don’t value you they just want to capitalise on your celebrations. Definitely go elsewhere.

The first time I emailed, they responded quickly. However, when I complained again that the replacement was also damaged, I received no acknowledgment.
