“Placed order for a birthday and it was not delivered, even though order and payment all went through. Day after due to be delivered I chased up to be told there was a technical issue. £5 off my next order!!! There will not be a next order, As there was no indication of a glitch to me then no alterative birthday delivery was arranged! I would not be able to trust their ordering process again!”

“I decided to give Cutter & Squidge a second chance after a previous, very disappointing, dry Red Velvet Cake postal order. This time, opting to try their brownie selection box and their mixed cookie selection box. The brownie selection was ok, but not great. The brownies themselves are _very_ thin, about 1.5 cm tall so slightly thicker than a Jaffa Cake with .3-.5 generally dedicated to some topping like chocolate. Personally what I like and expect in a brownie is a thick bite with a soft center that fills your mouth. Because they're so thin it also causes them to be fairly dry and unsatisfying. The Mixed Cookie Selection was the most disappointing. They are advertised as "thick, chunky and soft" however they arrived (batch number the date before they were delivered) hard as biscuits that could have been made weeks prior. I am certain at this point that Cutter and Squidge's "batch number" labels are not, in fact, the date the items are baked/cooked but the date they are placed in a box for delivery. These cookies were not fresh. The instructions on the box suggest to warm them up in the oven for 5 minutes, which I did with each, however somehow it barely improved their consistency - they always came out stale and cakey rather than a nice mix of crispy and soft. I will say, trying to eat one of these without warming them up is completely unpalatable.”

“Brownies were very thin. For the cake, there was a higher ratio of icing to cake so it was too sickly to consume. Disappointing as I’ve eaten this cake previously (hence why I chose to order it) and it was fabulous. I would love to know what has changed! Also I’d like to add that the courier posted the brownies through the letterbox and completely forgot about the cake. I had to run after her to prompt her about the cake. She was nearly driving off! It would help if items in the same order we packed together or kept together.”

“I regret ordering the cake from here. Yhe cake was very similar to any ready ones in tesco or sainsbury!!! The sponke cake layers weren't fresh at all! Overall experience was really bad won't recommend the cakes to anyone and won't order again !”

“Great brownies! But don’t trust their reward scheme! I built up my rewards by writing reviews but when I tried to use the money earned it didn’t work and no one at Cutter and Squidge could be bothered to help! Oh well!”

“They didn’t give DPD the full address so it was only due to the kindness of the DPD delivery driver the second delivery attempt that the cake was delivered at all. They also have ignored every email I have sent trying to get a response on this.”

“Small cake not much bigger than a cupcake. Arrived warm with just one already melted ice pack. It was overpriced for what it is in my opinion. Also, the salted caramel had clumps of salt so it didn't seem mixed properly. Wouldn't order from here again.”

Hi, I am sorry that the cake did not live up to you expectation, the cake is a small postable cake around 5.5" wide and should serve between 4-6 slices. We are currently working on a larger version but the packaging development takes time to be able to delivery it across the country. We make all of our cakes by hand and with the finest all natural ingredients. We value all of our customers and would love to find a solution to rectify the issue. Kindest, Annabel

“Disaster - I ordered 2 cakes which with delivery costs were together over £81. It was for a specific purpose, to be delivered on. Saturday. First it claimed it was delivered, with Photo. It had not been delivered , the photo was of a different house door. When I located the house door the owner said she had directed that the correct one was across the road, but it was not delivered . It apparently was delivered the next day, not fresh and left by the house gate. The whole point was that it be delivered Saturday, when we were at our friends. It defeated the whole purpose. I wrote to the company, they have never responded, no customer service, no reimbursement, 2 cakes delivered on the wrong day, not fresh, at a cost of £81 ! .. I will never use them again.”

“I was looking forward to my pistachio and passion fruit cake for my husband birthday. I was left without cake as nobody touched it really . Not a tasty combination . I was given a voucher to spend towards another cake which I did found it to be nice from them . I bought the lemon drizzle cake this time which tasted much better then the pistachio/passion fruit . The cake wasn’t dry it was fresh but still at average standard compared to their competitors taking in consideration taste and price .”

“I ordered the wrong tea and Cutter and Squidge would not take them back stating its their policy for safety reasons. However its quite ironic that all their teas are individually wrapped and I assured them that I had not opened any boxes. Had the teabags been loose packed I could understand.”
