The service was very good,but the cake was disappointing even though it looked gorgeous. It was dry and tasted processed. Not soft and fresh like an home-made cake.

Nice, fast delivery and it did deliver that experience of 'I want to order something that's pleasing to look at and makes me feel like I'm at a tea party'. Overall the bakes were average quality but they were delivered from a place VERY far from here and so maybe eating them fresh would be way nicer. The company was nothing but courteous and the packaging was really cute, very whimsical. If you're in London maybe try it!

Nice website and great-looking cakes. Customer service staff were friendly when I needed to contact them. Sadly, we weren't impressed with the cake itself and the delivery was really awkward... I ordered a few days in advance and paid extra for the morning slot on the day of the celebration to make sure it was fresh. I received inconsistent updates on the delivery time which at one point gave me an estimate of after the time slot I had paid extra for. I had to ring for support to clarify the time of delivery. I was really anxious, as we were waiting in for it and then heading straight to the celebration. Thankfully, it arrived in the window in the end.

We used Cutter & Squidge for 10 thank you gifts being sent to seperate organisations. There was no option to create one order and send to a number of addresses. More than one of the deliveries failed in some way because the purpose of a thank you gift is to thank someone, with it turning up with them. These didn't - one got retained at a delivery office. Several left on open doorsteps. Huge delivery charges make the item price unattainable when on a budget.

Regarding delivery, we completely understand how important it is for your thank-you gifts to arrive safely and on time. Our courier partners follow protocols to leave parcels in what they consider safe places if no one is home, especially as our items are fresh and perishable. Online ordering and delivery worked. Although i paid extra fee for a morning delivery (until 1pm), and it didn't arrive until 3pm. But the real review of a cake has to be the cake. It was at best average. It was dry, and the topping was pretty but not that tasty. I've ordered from Sponge, or Konditor, before and their cakes were much better. I'll go back to that.
