Delivery was late, I understand that this is sometimes unavoidable due to the delivery partners you outsourced the service to. I just think it is not wise to advertise next day delivery if it takes more than 2 days to reach the customer (for context, I ordered it on Monday evening and it only arrived on Thursday).

The box arrived squashed and ripped. Very disappointing. I understand the tea which was a gift (re-boxed) was good.

Good cake generally. Vegan chocolate cake was disappointing (dry and crumbly) compared to the blueberry lemon which is moist and not too sweet

The Chocolate & Raspberry Falooda Cake was nice but it felt like a normal choc cake. I didn't get any taste of the falooda flavour much to my disappointment (as a falooda lover). Also the price of this cake is very elevated (guess cos of 'special' flavour) but i wouldn't pay this again given its pretty much a normal choc cake.

Noone asked me how the delivery went or how it was received. The delivery was not damaged, just not checked by C&S for quality or promised contents.

The chocolate squidge cake was fine. Ever so slightly dry but not too much to make it unpleasant, however the buttercream was super sweet, too sweet for our liking. Most of the cake got eaten so it couldn't have been bad! The delivery came as requested and intact, but DPD just left it at the door without ringing our bell or knocking, I just happened to check my email shortly after only to find one from DPD asking to rate my delivery which is why I checked and found my cake outside.

Nice cake but chocolate disc was broken when it arrived. It also arrived a day after the scheduled delivery even though it said on the box it must be delivered same day so who know where that was stored overnight or if it was stored correctly along with health and hygiene regulations.

Brownies are great however ordered as a gift on a number of occasions to different addresses and there have been issues with delivery every time.

Delivered perfect and exactly on time. Cake itself was nice but a bit dry and quite sickly and I’ve got a very sweet tooth! Don’t think I would buy this cake again but it hasn’t put me off buying a different cake in the future as service was great.

I placed an order with C&S because they assured me delivery would happen on the 27th of jan. It didnt. The cake ordered for 27th delivery, was delivered on 28th of Jan. This was a birthday cake, and of all commercial establishments, a bakery should be aware of the immense value of DELIVERY DATE. so even though the cake tasted good, I will be looking for bakeries other than C&S for my next order.
