“I ordered this cake for my birthday cake since it looked like chocolate heaven. The sponge was very soft but lacking much flavour but this was balanced by the topping since I thought this was quite a strong flavour. However the flavour wasn't giving me chocolatey, it tasted too much like caramel for my liking. It was a unique flavour that I personally didn't enjoy. The Cornflakes were slightly chewy so that texture i also disliked. My boyfriend who doesn't like chocolate cake really enjoyed it though and ate most of it (he owes me a birthday cake haha). From tasting other chocolate products and loving them from here, this was just slightly disappointing for me.”

“The feedback was good from the person I gifted the Birthday Brownie box too. It however lost a point as the personal message that I included did not get sent out with the Brownie box. Also it did not arrive on the seleted date I choose which is an issue when you are specifically sending it for a birthday gift.”

“Nice flavours but sadly very dry. The first few times I bought cakes from C&S they were amazing but the last two times the sponge parts were dry. At these prices that’s really not acceptable. Won’t be coming back 😞”

“This cake was disappointing and not up to previous standards. Rather stodgy and the pieces of chocolate on top seemed to be a rather unpleasant cooking chocolate. A substantial portion of this cake was left uneaten,”

“My 60th birthday cake looked amazing but was surprisingly heavy for a vic' sponge. Icing and decoration was beautiful but I'm sorry to say we were really disappointed with the sponge as it was very dry, quite dense in texture and not light and airy.”
