Pretty disappointed with the haphazard delivery of the cake and flowers. Ordered a cake and bouquet to be delivered to my sister's apartment for the bouquet only for the cake to arrive a little battered up and packaged like an Amazon parcel which gave quite a poor impression. On the bright side, she said it tasted good which I'm glad about. In addition to that, the flowers I ordered alongside the cake came about two days late (despite the express shipping) and came in poor condition and lacklustre wrapping, nothing like the image on the website. Regretted paying money for the bouquet.

While we’re glad your sister enjoyed the cake, we completely understand how disappointing it must have been to receive the parcels in less than perfect condition. Our packaging is designed to protect the precious (and delicious!) contents during transit, and once the outer packaging is removed, you’ll find our signature orange Cutter & Squidge packaging inside. The flowers are dispatched separately from our Flower Studio, and although we do our best for both parcels to arrive together, there can occasionally be a short courier delay. The blooms are chosen at the perfect growth phase, so if a few stems arrived looking a little tired from their journey or with closed buds, they usually perk up beautifully after a trim and some fresh water, blooming fully over the next few days. This order was for my daughter’s boyfriend’s birthday. It was his first birthday not at home as he had just started uni. We paid for the morning delivery on the day of his birthday and unfortunately they did not arrive, a DHL delay. The surprise was spoiled. Similar thing happened to me October 2024 where I had ordered a birthday cake for my daughters party. Again it arrived 24 hours late. I had to go out and buy a Colin the Caterpillar. Cutter & Squidge customer service was excellent with there actually being a person you could call and talk to, very rare these days. So although C&S make excellent products there delivery provider lets them down. I am doubtful I would order for a special occasion from them again.

Something has changed over the past year or so that the overall quality of the passionfruit cake has deteriorated. Such a notable diffetence for an otherwise fantastic cake. My wedding cake and subsequent birthday cakes have been excellent up to now.

Packaging, delivery, cake design.. everything was perfect except the main showstopper The Cake. It was way too dry and crumbling. So I would suggest, Cutter and Squidge should focus mainly on their cake making skills along with other aspects which were alright. the texture made the experience highly disappointing. Rest other products were decent, I have tried shortbreads from Walkers and they were quite better than these. We opt for artisan cake shops for their precision and skills of baking.. which were lagging at large.

Hi, I am a regular customer at Cutter & Squidge, and my family are big fans of the Chocolate Squidge Cake— we order it for every special occasion. However, this time as well we ordered it for an occasion, we noticed the cake was quite different in terms of texture and design. It didn’t have the usual caramel pieces or the signature block tile look, and the cake itself was very crumbly, making it difficult to cut proper slices, not sure if we were sent the wrong type of cake. We’ve always enjoyed the previous old version, so this was a little disappointing for us. i have attached pictures to be more specific.

The wedding cake itself was really nice cake and the customer service by cutter & squidge is really professional. Unfortunately the couriers they use do not match up to their service. The day before my wedding I received an email the delivery had been cancelled and after spending a long time on the phone it was established it was not cancelled but was delivered to the wrong address which meant I then had to spend the day tracking down where it had been delivered to. Not ideal the day before your wedding!
