“This review is my honest opinion as a first time customer. The cake arrived on time no issues there and to add delivered outside of London. The cake looked fine and as advertised. However, when I tried the cake it was dry and tasted salty. I wasn't getting any of the flavours. I was not happy. I searched the reviews and thought is it just me? The next day I thought ok let me try and warm the cake up and put some milk on it before it goes into the microwave. Only after that, it tasted good! Everything was slightly melted but sponge tasted fine and I could actually taste the caramel and dried raspberries etc. Wish I didn't have to warm it up for it to taste decent and I would have liked it to taste the same cold. ”

“Quality of food was alright but I think there are a couple of things they need to improve on: - They did not send the bottle of Prosecco which I paid for - They did not provide ice packs with either hamper despite saying they would - There were no clear instructions included with the package to say what was to be refrigerated upon arrival unless you opened the box which I didn’t want to do since it was a gift; and even then, the instructions were a bit vague and not specific on what foods needed to be refrigerated. Unfortunately, only the brownies were impressive.”

“The products were outstanding. But they missed my friends birthday. The courier company did not deliver them within 48 hours so cancelled the order. The problem is there was no communication to tell me this. I only saw it when I checked the tracking. Then I had to contact C&S to rearrange.”

“Delivery driver sent it to the wrong address i nearly had a heart attack 😳 I then called customer service and a lovely lady helped me track the parcel. Birthday surprise did not go to disaster. Unfortunately the cake had a odd taste i cant explain what it was but left a odd taste. Not sure if the rose petals were edible 🤔”
