Incorrect order & damaged item, they are not refusing the help. Absolute shocking service. Wasted few months.. stay away!

If I could give them zero stars I would - ordered a sofa on June 26th for express delivery (£20 extra) to arrive BY July 3rd latest. Chased on July 3rd when I didn't receive a delivery slot to be told they hadn't shipped it, then told me it would be that day or the next. We're now 11 days and countless emails on and Daals still can't give me a proposed delivery date as they say they are waiting for the item to be 'scheduled' when they have someone in our area. An absolutely ridiculous company.

DO NOT ORDER A SOFA .” Unfortunately we ordered to replace our current ones that we had for 7 yrs . Safe to say I would rather keep the ones we have for 7 yrs Material of sofa as well is very poor that we were sliding just trying to simply sit I have emailed to return them and the 1st condition is "You've kept all original packaging and labels in good condition and the product can be resold at full price". With some items rcvd vacuum packed I fail to see how I can achieve this . I have emailed back for someone to pick it up assembled and do a partial refund . Avoid sofas at all costs unless you want to order a torture devise UPDATE: Cannot be returned or even get a partial refund as I cannot get the packaging in original condition and guarantee that the company can sell it again at full cost . So if you were trying to save by getting a comfy sofa AVOID as this is not comfy and returns conditions are impossible

Awful….gave me 1.5 hours for a delivery which I then missed and then claimed the 7 day express period I’d paid for didn’t count despite the short notice. After being cut off because it hit closing time mid call, I’ve still got no delivery date and I’m now well over the 7 days paid for. I definitely wouldn’t recommend Daals - buyer beware!

Beware that this company offers a terrible returns service. Unlike Wayfair, La Redoute and Next, you have to cover the cost of return. I returned some chairs, cost me £52. Then heard nothing from DaAl's. Contacted them. They seemed to deny they had my items. Fortunately, delivery company had proof of delivery in form of photos and signature. Now, 15 days later, still waiting for them to do 'quality check'. Have returned items to other companies and received refund within a week. Very poor after-sales service. Won't use DaAl's again.

Awful to deal with. Cannot arrange collection of an existing sofa. Keep trying to deliver on the one day I can't take delivery ie Thursday. You can't get a firm date on when they will deliver. You get a text 24 hours before saying they will deliver the next day, and if you need to re-schedule, it goes back into a 7 day planning cycle. You can't speak to the planning team themselves. The Customer Service team are not helpful. I would not use this company again at all.

terrible experience. Still waiting for replacements or refund and its been months. parts are not compatible and wood is cheap and easily damaged. they uses tape to cover cracks in parts they knew were faulty

Scamsite. Low quality products, bad customer service and a returns policy that can't feasibly be actioned. They also delete/exclude negative reviews from their own site.

Daal's furniture does not pass health and safety standards, DO NOT PURCHASE FROM HERE. I wish I had done more research into this company. I only looked up their reviews on Trustpilot and Review.io after the fact. I bought the Fyne Ecru Boucle Rocking Armchair and upon assembling the item I found a sharp piece of metal sticking out of the joint of one of the arm rests. My initial instinct was to pick out the piece of metal to understand what it was and also prevent it from cutting my hand as I handled the item. Apparently, this was a grave error on my part as despite taking pictures of what I found and sending it in. The response has essentially been that I am making up this issue. No offer to recall this chair and send a new one, no effort to check/recall all chairs with this batch number to ensure customer safety. No compensation. Just an "oh well" essentially. Considering this could have led to an injury, I am genuinely shocked with this response. DO NOT purchase from them, they will deny accountability and shirk responsibility if you have an issue with your purchase.

Awful company to deal with. If you are brave enough to purchase from this company then use PayPal. I only got my money back because I had paid through them. Do not believe a word they say. Do not drop your PayPal case. The company are liars. Directors should be ashamed.

I purchased a dining table online. On the day of delivery, the prepacked item, large box and weighing around 30kgs was left at the entrance door of communal hallway in apartment block. I asked the delivery person for package to be delivered to my flat on the 2nd floor as I presumed it would be on purchase and this was refused. Customer service say it is stated on their website that delivery of items will only be to front entrance/communal hallway of apartment block. No it does not state this anywhere in the 'check out' process and neither is this delivery policy mentioned in the 'shipping policy'. It was a headache to move the prepacked table from ground floor to my flat on 2nd floor. And I would definitly not have bought the table if I had known their delivery policy. There is a complete lack of transparency on delivery and shipping and are basically tricking their consumers by the omission of important information that we need to make informed choices. I am going to return the table which I will now have to somehow drag to the front entrance of building and leave it there blocking the passageway and unattended. It's ridiculous for furniture deliveries and total lack of respect for consumers. Avoid at all cost.

Bought a sofa and paid for express delivery within 5 days - was given a delivery day and took the day off work. They sent an SMS after the start of the delivery time clot they gave me to say the truck had broken down and delivery would now be tomorrow. Had to take another day off work. Asked for some compensation or at least a refund of the £19.99 deliver charge - but got a very rude no as they said they delivered within the 5 working days. No consideration for me as a customer whatsoever - only care about the money, not their customers. Here's what I got back when I complained: "The breakdown of the delivery van was unforeseen and out of our control, furthermore we have delivered the item within the 5 working days of the express delivery that you paid. Therefore in this instance we cannot take the refund request further." Make sure you read all the one star reviews on here as others have had a much worse experience but its clear what sort of company this is!

Naturally anxious to get Asthmatic son out of smaller, damp bedroom up to airier loft room, hence took quick photo of worst bit of damaged (& late to arrive) bed base letheret board (, other areas went over with organic polish) . Daals hell bent on ignoring my emails, LIED, they said Id sent NO photos (can PROOVE I did, sent CCs to myself!!) liars!!! Inferior MDF support planks, dont trust them.

It has been months now, they never sent my item and I have been chasing a refund. They’d said they processed it and it would take 14 days but it’s now been 17. They have stolen £230 of my money. VERY UNHAPPY and I will be taking legal action against them. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!

Don't ever buy from this company. Trying to receive your product is nigh on impossible. First desk never arrived. Ordered next day delivery for the second, and it never came. I will never, ever buy from this company again. Believe all the other reviews and don't risk the headache.

I ordered and paid for the Frances Woven Rattan 1-Door Cabinet in Natural on 10th Jan. The item never arrived. It took multiple emails, phone calls and social media messages to eventually get a response - which was they couldn’t tell me what happened to the item but appeared to have been lost. These things happen so it’s understandable, but what is not understandable is how much effort is on the behalf of the customer to try and track someone down to speak to about this. Awful service which is in-line with the rest of the recent reviews I have read. This company remove any comments on Instagram where someone has had a negative experience and just leave any positive comments which is not transparent or reflective of a true experience of the majority with them. As of 2nd Feb I am still waiting for the refund, I’m not holding my breath! Do yourself a favour and spend a little more to buy from a reputable company who will properly address any issues or concerns you have.
