I ordered a desk from Daals which arrived one day late and damaged. I contacted them to order a replacement and am still waiting after nearly four weeks. They are saying the original won't be collected until a courier is in the area and a refund will take even longer. I would advise against using them, the customer service team are rude and unhelpful.

After reading the reviews and the company blurb, I decided to purchase a £400 sofa bed. After just three uses, the bed wouldn't fold back to it's original position and was making my front room look ridiculous. I contacted customer service and they said they'd look into it. After a few days , they emailed to say they'd need video evidence and multiple photographs of the bed not working. A few days later they said they'd send a replacement. However, before that, I'd need to show further evidence of the bed in secure packaging, which I did. Two weeks later and constantly looking at a bubble wrapped bed in my front room, I emailed them to ask what was going on..... they'd clearly forgotten. As if by magic, the new bed was given a delivery date and timeslot which, could be any time between 07.00 and 16.00. The email also stated I'd receive an email three hours before delivery; so, that's potentially 04.00 am! I was made aware about the importance of being at home when the delivery was due; otherwise, if you don't answer the door, it'll be a £30 charge. With this in mind and me being a conscientious person, despite the fact the bed lasted five minutes, I booked the day off work and was up at 06.00 am, ready and waiting. I received a message that the replacement bed would be arriving at 08.45. Due to storm Baber, the time kept being put back; fair enough and understandable. So, I waited and, sure enough I see a biggish white van pull up in the middle of our road, heavy metal music blaring and, I mean, blaring. Guy looks at the house (I'm looking directly at him through the window), realises he can't park in the middle of the road and has to park further down the street. He then parks in front of a neighbour's driveway, blocking the entrance, and then has to move the van again because she wanted to get on her drive. So, I'm ready and waiting for a knock on the door and willing to help the guy bring the bed from his van; it's extremely heavy rain at this point. A few minutes later and the same guy is stood in front of my house, points his phone at the door, takes a pic and walks off. I'm thinking to myself, this is very odd. So, I go to my door, step outside and watch him get back in his van and drive off. Within 30 seconds I'm calling customer services and get through very quickly. I explain the situation and the woman says she'll speak to the delivery team. A minute or so later she explains the driver is now en route to another drop off but the delivery team will try to get him back to my house later. By 16.00, absolutely no contact from Daals.... shocking! The driver could have easily turned back but he'd already registered it as nobody home... ridiculous! After further conversations with customer services, I was told I'd receive another delivery day and timeslot. Over one week later and I'm still to receive a date and time. Meanwhile, I'm stuck with an unusable sofa bed, wrapped in bubble wrap, in my front room. So, after taking a day off work and sitting around waiting all day for a potential delivery, and then waiting days to hear from Daals, I decided I'd had enough and requested compensation and a full refund. I have made this very clear to them on several occasions. Each time, they have refused my request and said they don't offer refunds (please be aware of this). All in all, an abysmal sofa bed, an abysmal delivery service, an abysmal customer service team who have zero empathy, a thoroughly abysmal experience, and an abysmal company who really do not care about their customers. AVOID!

Red flag!! I wouldn’t recommend anyone to buy from daals. We went by all the positive reviews and ordered 4 dinner chairs (champ color) from them. First time around, they sent two different colors (champ and grey) that we got changed. However, when they delivered the new chairs, they were a different shade of champagne. Not just that, the quality was worlds apart too. We requested them to exchange as we now have 4 chairs with different shades of the same color and different quality. But they said the chairs are from different batches hence the difference in color and quality, which felt like deception. We asked them to pick up the chairs if they can’t exchange. But they refused and asked us to return them at our expense - for no fault of ours. This is not just highly unprofessional but also extremely unreliable of them as it looks like they change their product quality frequently. Never buying again from this company. #fraud #poorquality

The chair design is good and I successfully put together the chair at arrival. However, I found that the foam on the back rest gets de-shaped when we tighten the screws and the velvet fabric becomes lose. This looks quite bad. Furthermore, the black lining under the seat protrudes out from the edges and the front of the chair. This looks quite bad and kills the look of the chair (shows shabby workmanship). I reached out to DAALS to review and help with this. Despite providing several pictures and explanations, DAALS refuse to accept that the product has issues. They have suggested I need to buy a velvet brush and that would help resolve the issues with the foam and bad workmanship. Completely appalled at the response. I want to return this chair for a refund/exchange but DAALS is not accepting it. Never buying from them again. After all of this fiasco, I had a look at the reviews on their website for this chair just to see if other buyers faced the same issues. Almost all of them have posted pictures of the chair with a loose cushion concealing the area where the foam may have been de-shaped. Looks like a few scam (self generated) reviews to make the rating look good. I wanted to upload photos with my review but there is no option to do so. So looks like the reviews with photos are fake done by the company itself (or paid reviews). All in all, if you buy from them, you are stuck with them. One of the worse customer service I have seen

Where do I start? Chairs were a very different colour than advertised. Daals accepted no responsibility and said I had to return them at my own cost. I then had to wait 3 weeks for a refund and only got that after I threatened them with legal action. The dining table was manufactured incorrectly. I agreed to a replacement (silly me) and it now can’t be delivered until somebody else in my area places an order! That’s been 4 weeks so far. I live in Manchester not the outer Hebrides. Customer service is shocking. They blame the despatch team for everything and say there’s nothing they can do. If you want a good service look elsewhere.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!! Dreadful service was always chasing regarding imperfection of the chairs I had ordered, they replied back stating its not a manufacture fault! I completely disagree and also the seat colour was different to advertised to their website. I would have to pay for delivery of chairs to go back but I offered for them to resolve this problem to give some discount off the chairs and they still refused! I had an email from Meriem 00.45am!!! - this is unprofessional and out of practice hours! Dealt with 3 different people in customer service would not let me speak to management! I have NEVER experienced such bad service from a company before until I had ordered from Daals. They pass the but and try to avoid having to give any payments back..DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!

NOT NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!! I ordered a chair which I decided to return in unopened packaging and in its original box. I paid £20 with DPD to return, I emailed with a copy of the tracking details and also DPD confirmation that it has been delivered and signed for by Daals. No refund. After a week and a half I was told I needed to provide photographic proof of delivery by DPD to arrange a refund despite the tracking already showing it had been delivered back to to them on 19/09/2023. I contacted DPD and provided the photographic proof requested. I’m STILL WAITING FOR A REFUND. I emailed today (12/10/2023) and have been told I now need to wait an ADDITIONAL 6 WORKING DAYS for a refund to be processed. You have had the item for 23 days and I have not been refunded. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY THEY WILL DO EVERHTHING THEY CAN TO AVOID REFUNDS!!!!

Awful, avoid at all cost!!! Products are faulty or not in line with description and specs, and when you try to return or exchange, they refuse to pick them up at their own expense and rather want you to bear the cost and spend time arranging a shipment!! I ordered two chairs, the width in specs is 60cm, in reality they are wider than that, so two chairs don't fit under the table side by side. I got in touch to return the order, they want me to bear the cost of the return! I really wish i had read all the bad reviews - they have a decent score on Trustpilot but likely many good reviews are bought/fake, because when you check the 1-star reviews, they have 22% of 1-star reviews, all mentioning similar issues to mine!

Horrible customer service! don't buy anything, they are big scammers and can't help with anything! I paid extra for quick delivery and they still messed up and didn't want to refund me my money!

Ordered a sideboard and the quality was dreadful. Daals completely refused to do anything about it, citing their own terms and openly ignoring UK law. Avoid.

The worst experience I have had in along time; paid for next day delivery and it didn't arrive in time. Then when it did arrive they sent the wrong item. Customer service useless, refused to send the right item on Saturday delivery so it would arrive in time for my event and then wouldn't issue me a refund until the wrong items are collected - I am at their mercy until they decide to remove the huge box from my hallway and give me my money back. Never use this company, I am annoyed at myself that I didn't check their reviews first.

If I could give 0 stars I would! Absolutely disgusting company take peoples money then don’t receive the item you’ve ordered! Was notified late Monday evening that it would arrive Tuesday (took the day off work & cancelled my clients all my clients as I’m a hairdresser) it never arrived and said on the tracking I’d missed delivery (I had been in all day and have cameras and a ring doorbell. Apparently the van had broken down near to where I live in Manchester so I said I was happy to take some ID & proof of address and collect my item to which they said I couldn’t as the van was not back in Coventry. I laughed and said how does a broken down van get from Manchester to Coventry in the space of 31 minutes (absolute nonsense)! I was then told it would be the first delivery Wednesday morning between 7am-10am. They confirmed this over the phone & via the chat service. Gets to Wednesday and still doesn’t arrive, rang the company again and was told I was told the incorrect information and that it would be arriving Thursday but they don’t know what time. After a lot of back and forth & explaining to them I’d been messed about for 2 days already and now they want me to cancel my clients for the 3rd day I told them to cancel the order and give me my money back. They said they couldn’t as the item was already on the van ready to be delivered Thursday but someone else had told me it was in the warehouse in Coventry. This went on for many phone calls & chat messages. I came to the realisation after reading the review that this is just a completely sham of a company! I asked my bank to do a charge back and rang the company and told them I’ve got my money back cancel the order as I do not want it. She told me she’d cancel it but never sent confirmation! Later on I rang AGAIN to make sure it had been cancelled and told her to send me email confirmation whilst she was on the phone. Apparently the money takes up to 10 working days to be returned but I’d already got it off the bank so wasn’t too fussed as the money refunded will go back to the bank. Absolute abomination of a company, no one knows what’s going on or how to deal with customers was told multiple time they don’t have managers. Would NEVER buy from this awful company again and will be reporting them!

Horrible people, Wiktoria is a terrible customer representing! Full of hater and very unfriendly! I’m stuck with an ugly second hand chair as no post company will take the chair to them due to it not being Flatpack! Other companies that do take furniture charge almost the same price as the chair! They don’t offer free return pleaseeeeee be aware of this company absolutely terrible! They don’t call you and you just have to deal with them via email! Exhausting! I have to now drive up to Coventry from london to return the second hand chair they sent me! Horrible company ran by horrible people

Don’t order from this company. Faulty manufacturing and customer service that don’t want to deal with any issues. First part of the cabinet arrived warped and cracks, the replacement takes days and then when finally constructed the drill holes are incorrect and the door sizes too short. The company then ask you to take it apart and package it up for collection before they’ll refund you. (They take days to answer emails). At one point they requested I drill new holes to patch up their shoddy work. Worst customer service ever experienced. Don’t believe the trust pilot reviews - clearly all lies. I doubt this company will be around in a couple of years.

Thieves ordered a dining table that was faulty the joints are cracked not fit for use could collapse at any time the customer service aren't interested reported the issue as soon as it came nothing has been done emails are just robotic and am sick of being fobbed off, I have to report to trading standards and also the financial ombudsman! Wish id read up on the business before ordering! Dont deserve the 1 star!

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY They have accepted my order when not having the stock to fulfil and are now withholding the refund amount. I had ordered a dressing table and two bedside drawers. They called me the night prior to delivery to tell me that they didn't have the drawers in stock but they would be getting these to send on shortly and asked if I would still be ok to accept just the dressing table at this time with the drawers to follow. I made it very clear that I had ordered these as as set and would be happy to accept only on the condition that the drawers would follow and if for whatever reason, this was not possible, that they would arrange collection of the dressing table at their cost. We have been going back and forward for a few weeks now. They have denied the above mentioned phone call until I sent screenshots of the call records, at which point, they simply ignored this. Over this time they have also informed me that they will not be able to fulfil the order, due to lack of stock. During the phone call when they advised this, they cut off half was through, did not answer the phone when I immediately called back, did not call me back and when I emailed to ask them to return my call, ignore this. They have also told me that they will not be arranging collection of the dressing table and that this will need to be returned at my cost as they are classing this as a change of mind return rather than the return being due to them. They also told me that they had delivered the drawers (which they absolutely have not!) and that they would need to investigate me for this. They have blatantly lied. Not fulfilled the order. Not refunded the money for the drawers which they did not deliver and now are refusing to arrange collection of the dressing table and therefore withholding this refund also. This company is holding on to £339.97 of my money, for items not provided and are not honouring their word to collect and fully refund the items. Had they not said they would collect the item at their cost, I would have never accepted the order. Customer service has been of absolutely no help at all. Basically copy and pasting the same rhetoric with no help. Terrible company with zero customer service and withholding money which is not theirs!

Avoid this company at all costs - their stuff is not as nice as pictured on their website, all the reviews on their website are fake. I had issues with my order and when I complained they just said “I do apologise but we can not do anything to help” absolutely useless

Horrible return policy. They are an online furniture company without showroom and with misleading pictures. On this type of companies, you expect them to have FREE and EASY return. The return is not free and the whole process is super complicated: 7 days to inspect the item (which takes longer) + 10 days to issue the refund + the time you bank needs to process the refund. The whole experience with this company was horrible. My recommendation is go with companies like Swoon, or Amazon that have easy and free returns.
