“You can't order his online without being forced to sweet up an "account" and being given a "card", and are then bombarded with several emails. I was asked for more details and personal information than I wanted to give, simply to purchase goods. There is no obvious way to then cancel that "account" later. For a one-off purchase, you then have no way of knowing how long Decathlon will keep your data for, and whether in future it may ever end up being vulnerable and hacked. Generally it seemed like bad practice, and greed over asking for more personal data than necessary to carry out a sale.”

“I have ordered 2 products online. In short I had to chase for delivery. Never received them. Never had explanation what happened. Had to ask for compensation. This was my fort buy. Extremely disappointed with it all.”

“I found Decathlon whilst camping in France and was delighted to discover their branches in tne UK. I mistakenly thought they were cheap and cheerful in a similar way to some well known British brands though found that this is not the case. Cheap or good value, yes, but not at the cost of quality. Their range is fantastic and the quality is as much as I need and at the right price. Decathlon has been a very valuable find and I strongly recommend looking through their product range for any requirements before splashing out on similar items at 3 times tne price.”

“The time given to collect an item when purchased on line is not long enough. The decathlon that is local to us is over 30 miles away and so not always within the 5/7 day limit of picking up orders”
