“Overall I have only had good experiences with Deccthlon. The items that I have bought have been of good value. They are not top end items, ie I bought walking gear tents in the from more specialist stores. However a lot of items are of good quality and very good value, fleeces walking poles plus many more.”

“I found the sizing very different from anywhere else and therefore ended up sending my item back twice before getting the correct size. Returns is not the easiest I've ever dealt with!!! However the tennis clothing g that I bought was good quality and I'm very happy with it.”

“I love the Newfeel shoes but had to try about 5 times before I could place the order because it wouldn't accept my postcode... Why I don't k now.. It kept saying it was not recognised. On about the 6th attempt ( with a slightly different format ) it accepted it...... Frustrating”

“Service is brilliant and cannot complain about my bicycle at all other than a noise / knock it has developed since being delivered. Other than this the bicycle is a fantastic piece of kit for the money and I'm clocking up the miles rapidly. Great company!”

“Recently bought a triban 540 road bike. Mixed service in all honesty. Ordered online and delivered to store. Went to store to pick up and guy on checkout dragged the box from a room nearby and back to till. I was then told I had to take the box to a guy at the back of the store to be put together. I don't think he smiled once and I don't think he should be expecting the customer to drag a box through the store. The guy who eventually put it together was quite helpful and knowledgable. Unfortunately I had a problem with the gears not being indexed properly - ie chain slipping and not sitting cogs correctly. Took bike back to workshop and was asked to leave it and call back. Again no smile and just got the feeling I was causing an inconvenience. Any picked bike up from workshop and no attempt at an explanation as to what the problem was and was passed off as 'oh it just needed a slight adjustment'. Turns out it STILL was not satisfactory and I ended up paying £20 at a local bike shop for the bike to be properly indexed and to have a new cable (as the one on the bike was frayed - yes, on a new bike!). The bike itself is now great, really pleased, which is more than I can say for certain aspects of Decathlons customer service.”

“I would definitely recommend Decathlon. We bought our first tent from them which was excellent for the price. Unfortunately we had a problem with it after using it once and Decathlon's customer service was second to none. They dealt with our problem extremely quickly and efficiently. Would definitely go back again. Thanks Decathlon!”

“Having used Decathlon to buy a buoyancy aid, hiking jacket, surf board, rash vest and cycling shorts in the last 3 months I've been really impressed at the quality of the kit as well as the prices which are well below the competition (especially the buoyancy aid which was 1/2 the price of chandlers and is really top quality with a crotch strap as standard). I've only bought on line so far and the speed of delivery has been excellent and again the cost of postage has been very competitive. An excellent company with really great gear, I'm definitely coming back for more!”

“Only had time to go out for a spin once since I got the bike. Can definitely notice the step up in class from my old bike. Very smooth and comfortable ride, easy to make the adjustment from my former bike. Value for money purchase.”
