“I ordered a pair of Solognac wellies on Monday and they arrived in store on Wednesday. Very impressed. Not only that, but they were a perfect fit. Thank you.”

“After bad experiences with website stock information in the past I decided to ring the store and check availability of fitbits before driving an hour. After working through an unnecessary menu system I then had to listen to promotions and adverts for 5 mins before the menu system then reset itself back to the start. The whole experience a bit of a shambles. Will just pay the extra money and buy from Currys”

“When I buy something after few days get email sorry product is out of stock. Bad customer service. Never get any compensation for long waiting time or cancel transaction. All summary very bad experience!”

“My order was supposed to be received on 15 Dec but didn't arrive. I had tried to follow my order online but just kept sending me to returns but I had received my order ! I contacted decathlon by phone and they explained they couldn't send the order as one item wasn't in stock. Nobody had contacted me by email to explain this problem or to say my package wouldn't be arriving. The lady on the phone confirmed I could change my order which I did and it would be sent out that day. Easy really ! She confirmed that due to the problems I had she would priorities my order and I would receive it by 23 Dec. Well that's another story as The couriers didn't deliver and when you went on their website it stated that they had tried to deliver and they hadn't as we had waited in all day this went on and on until one day the package arrived very late as a Christmas present in the new year.”

“Special thanks to Mick Johnson at Decathlon Sheffield cycling department, 14 January 2017. I had a lot of questions, having not cycled at all for 4 years and not on road for 12 years. He was very helpful in answering them all and advising on the best equipment for my needs. He prepared a bike there and then, changing the stem and tyres while I waited, so I could take it away the same evening. A couple of days later I had some questions when I came to fit mudguards to the bike and he gave helpful advice on the telephone. He is very knowledgeable about the products Decathlon sell and about cycling in general. The Triban 520 Road Bike has been great so far and it and the other products I purchased (mudguards, helmet, baselayer, tights) all good value.”

“Long drawn out situation still not remedied! I was sent completely the wrong order which I returned at my cost. I have been offered vouchers to cover postage however I do not want vouchers ! They have refused and take days to even reply. I will not be using this site again”
