“Friendly and helpful staff. Top quality products at great prices. I have purchased dozens of things from running shorts too hydration belts too running lights, hiking boots ant a tent. Nothing I have bought has ever let me down with most things far exceeding expectations. I always highly recommend decathlon to friends, family and colleagues for all their sporting and outdoor needs.”

“Although the branch I visited is fairly new (Wandsworth) I was assisted by a very kind Sales Assistant who has helped me ordering the item I was after by using the store screen. Sadly I then realised that I had a customer account but no customer card, so I went on your facebook page to ask for my card to me issued and send to me but I was told that the store should have done it. When I returned to the shop to collect my order and query for the card I was told that they do not have that facilities so, I went to facebook and explained the situation and I was advised to go to your Croydon branch to have the card issued, to which I explained that I was not ready to travel all the way to Croydon to have a loyalty card issued and then a kind person agreed to have it issued and posted to me. It is a shame that the card is not automatically issued when a purchase is confirmed (paid for and collected/delivered). Yet I am happy to know that I can also use my card when I travel. That is a plus that, as far as I know no other shops does. Thanks.”

“I bought the 500 Warm Cycling Bib Tights (large) for myself (very good value) and the 500 bike helmet for my son. Both were delivered quickly. Although I am a slim 32 inch waist I went for large & they are a good fit and have kept me warm over the last 2 months and no riding up so far. Other reviewers have complained about not being warm enough but they have been fine for my 20 mile hilly round trip commute. No complaints from my son on the bike helmet.”

“I placed two separate orders of five kits of bow and arrows from the website as Christmas presents. The items were delivered to the recipients of the gifts to save me money and so it was not until they were opened that I discovered they were all the wrong arrows. The presents were gifts for children age 10-13 and I specifically ordered arrows that had suckers on the ends to prevent any harm. ALL of the arrows delivered had pointed ends are are extremely dangerous in the wrong hands. I have not had the time nor the energy to battle with Decathlon over the web ordering process but the images on the website were NOT the same as the item delivered and I now have several family members unable to use their present because they need constant adult supervision. Really, really disappointed.”

“Some time in November I was helped by one of your team call Ricardo, with a problem I had with a bike that I had ordered. I had to ask for his name because he is a real credit to your company. He was incredibly patient, polite and helpful. He went way above and beyond to help resolve the problem. I would like to also say a big thank you to all the other staff that were involved who I did not get to speak to personally. A very satisfying result and the great customer service.”

“Ordering for Christmas gifts was very easy and the delivery arrived exactly when it said it would. To add to that the two Triboard masks I ordered were high quality. Would highly recommend Decathlon.”

“I ordered a diving BCD on 04/01/16 to be delivered on 09/01/16 tracked my order and it was being prepared then got email on 09/01/16 that it was out of stock. I was allowed to place the Oder the order was accepted and prepared then cancelled by Decathlon now my diving kit for my holiday in 3 weeks is incomplete and I have to start order all over again, which will certainly not be with decathlon it's disgusting customer service not Even an offer of another product at same value or slight discount to compensate, do Decathlon want loyal customers, I have shopped there for years but seriously reconsidering.”

“Excellent speedy service. The bike came boxed with only minor work required ie pedals to put on and handle bars to twist around as they came in the dropped down position. Superb hydraulic brakes. I don't like the pedals that are the 'clip into' type. Came with a set of complimentary lights which was a nice surprise”

“I bought both 700 Urban Waterproof Trousers and 700 Urban Waterproof Poncho. Those are my first proper cycle waterproofs. Poncho has transparent elements on the sides of the hood and hi-viz elements. Both improve safety. Poncho protects well in light to medium rain - even your fabric trousers. Together poncho and trousers protects well against rain and wind. I haven't had any problems with waterproofs yet. I'm very happy with my choice.”

“Decathlon may be good, but very disappointed with the Shetland headcollar and lead rope. Suggest the person responsible for buying the horse related items for the company has equine experience as this product is not what I was expecting.”

“Overall happy with service and product. One small point - incorrect format for entering phone number. Forgotten exact problem now but it wouldn't take my mobile no as 00 44 7......., I think I had to put the 0 before the 7 which clearly you don't expect to do and it took a few goes to work that out!”
