“Unfortunately I ordered a size 4.5 and a 4 arrived , I needed the trainers for an event so had to resort to making them fit ..now stuck with a pair of trainers too tight for me! Not the best experience for my first order!”

“Rather than getting in my car and driving to my local store I chose to shop on line,I found the Web site very easy to navigate, the product I chose was first class, I had the product delivered to my home, excellent customer arm chair shopping experience, would recommend it, many thanks, Edward Williams.”

“I recently bought some sunglasses from Decathlon Online. They are the same model that I used to buy from Decathlon in Spain. I use them for running and cycling and at £5.00 a pair I think they are unbeatable. Superb value and quality from Decathlon - As always. But. A few months ago I visited the Decathlon store in Warrington and I couldn't believe how bad the service was. It appeared that the store had no manager. I spent over £260 on running and cycling gear and waited at the till, for someone - anyone ... to take my money. There were 4 members of staff at another till, having some kind of meeting and a queue of customers waiting to be served. Eventually .. one of them noticed us and said they couldn't serve us (without telling us why) but that someone would be along shortly to take our money. This took another 15 minutes. When it was my turn the till operator said that I couldn't in fact buy the jacket that I'd chosen because the security device 'had failed' There wasn't another jacket of the same size and style available so I had to plead with the till operator to sell it to me. He then told me that part of the security device was somewhere in the jacket and that he would have to retrieve it before I could buy it. This involved another 10 minutes of searching through the lining of the jacket trying to find the missing piece, to no avail. Eventually I said that I just wanted the jacket and that I would take full responsibility for whatever problems the missing part of the security device might subsequently have on the performance of the jacket. He agreed to sell it to me but told me that the warranty might be void, but I still wanted it so with that I paid and left the store. At no point did anyone offer any sort of apology for the almost 40 minutes of inconvenience. I was amazed because I also regularly use the Decathlon store in Jerez and the service is always prompt and polite. In future I shall buy online or wait until I am in Spain. Its a shame because I really like Decathlon and think their prices and quality are second to none - I like browsing the store which is much more rewarding (& inspirational) than shopping online but I won't be going back to Warrington and the next nearest store to me in the UK is too far away...”

“outstanding first class service.i find it very reliable and easy to use and would recomend decathlon .the items are very good quality and are very reasonably priced.i will continue using the online service as it saves me lots of time and i only have to sit infront of my pc to shop.excellent customer service.well done decathlon”

“Delivery took a little longer than expected this was not a reflection on Decathlon and more a reflection of the carrier they used. The products provided were good value and in the main fit for purpose. I thought I was going to have a problem when one of the bikes was damaged and developed a fault. In truth, I contacted them and they authorised me to get a repair done and that they would reimburse the cost of repair as it was not practical to return to a Decathlon store. Overall the purchase was not without hiccup but the staff at Decathlon did everything reasonable to ensure the products were as ordered and fit for purpose and when things did not go quite according to plan to resolve the situation quickly. All in all , I am happy and would recommend them.”

“Decathlon is the only sport shop I know of where we as a family can go and get everything for all the different sports we are doing. From riding to cricket, they got everything, even camping gear!”

“On a number of occasions I have had fantastic customer service from Decathlon staff, in particular those at the Giltbrook store. Although I have had issues with an online to store order getting lost, the store staff couldn't have done more to help!”
