I'm happy that my rate was reduced, compared with previous years. However - and I'm going to say this here in the "how my quote made me happy" space, because there doesn't seem to be any other space, I was very UNHAPPY about one or two things. Particularly, there were several things I didn't understand about the proposal, and when I asked for clarification, the assistant, Christian Reaney, just repeated what he had already said. This made me feel patronised, as well as not helping me with my confusion about the policy. He in gave me wildly inaccurate information as well - he told me that my £3,500 bicycle would be fully insured if it was in the house. In fact it turns out that contents cover for bicycles is specifically limited to £500. If I had taken him at his word, I would have been under the impression that my bike was covered, when in fact it wasn't at all. Overall, it seems to me that Christian had no idea at all about the detail of the policy that he was selling. This is a very important matter, because the detail of the policy is exactly what we would be picked up on by the insurance company if we ever had to make a claim. Also, I have to say that the fact that you don't provide a space specifically to give your clients the opportunity to say what they weren't happy about is pretty strange. It's almost as if you don't want to hear any criticism.

The Quote could of been more competitive but is acceptable but will be looking work with you in future If there is more of quotes that suit my circumstances.

The broker provides good value quotes and sensible levels of cover. The process this year was tortuous with constant add ons being offered. I had to ask the sales rep to stop.

Dealing with this company once I'd decided to renew was easy and quick. However I felt very hassled with phone calls 2-3 times a day for 2wks prior to renewing. This is not acceptable by any means it's almost verging on harassment.

I was happy with the quote but can you explain why we were charged a fee for paying with a debit card when we are never charged when using it at any other i time .If it was myself and not my wife paying i would have payed by cheque or gone elsewere and we are making enquirers into these charges you claim the goverment have brought in as i have never heard of them and will be contacting the Martin Lewis program.Your comments please

Unfortunately we apply charges for debit and credit cards due to the charges we receive from our sponsoring banks. We do absorb most of these fees ourselves, however to ensure we keep our quotes as competitive as we can & for the good of all of our customers, we regrettably have to pass a small part of these fees onto yourselves. We do constantly monitor these charges and do keep these to a minimum.

I received letters and emails which was good but when i phoned up it wasa bit frustrating to try and get hold of Christian Reeney. I finally spoke to him friday but qootation wasnt ready so he said he would call me back saturday 17th December. I waited all morning and then called him at lunchtime but had to rush the call as I had a timed appointment to keep to. Spoke to him today to ask him to change my paperwork from 6 employees to 8 as some companies i deal with like to see all the paperwork before giving work to my company but Christian said I didnt need to show that to my clients therefore it didnt need changing but I insisted it did need changing and after paying just under £600 I would like the paperwork changed to which he agreed. He said I would receive it in 48 hours with the amendments. Feeling I had to insist and left me thinking ...would I like to deal with Christian again ?

Availability of insurance on specialised stamp collection. VERY disappointed to be charged for paying by debit card( so much so that it is doubtful if we will renew through you next year ) The best feature was the efficient deatails collection by employee

i wouldn't say they made me happy. i didn't think much of the person i dealt with on the phone but the quote was acceptable and that is the reason i am keeping my business with Aim4agreatquote

Aim4agreatquote would have made me happier if they had accepted groundwater flood cover. The last such occurrence was in 2002, and other companies, rejected for other reasons, have quoted an exemption after ten years. The application process was very laborious, with multiple documents and a verbal repetition of details given last time. In the past, the process of renewal has not involved this procedure with other companies. Many of these documents had to be printed out for my file, as I prefer to have physical documents. I had to print out about 20+ pages.

The service was efficient but I was a little surprised when I was charged a 0.5% surcharge for paying by debit card. There was no mention in the quote process of surcharges for debit or credit cards. All charges should be clearly spelled out in the process.

The whole process takes far too long. Also the cost of £4 to send documents is too high so I used the email system where you sent 13 plus attachments. I therefore requested just the ones for signing which you did send . One of the most ridiculous things was charging a fee (be it small) on using my DEBIT card to pay the deposit. I have never heard of this before. I could understand that if I had used a credit card.
